- Hi folks,
today I fly from Dusseldorf to Antalya on board Corendon Airlines, a turkish holiday airline. I often hear people criticizing this airline for massive delays and bad service. Yes, I had a delay, but 1h is acceptable for me, when you remember the personal status of DUS. No, the crew was absolutely fantastic and the boardshop really impressed me!
My recommendation: Corendon is a typical holiday airline, which you can definitely fly on. But when you look on the statistics, you also have to remember, that delays are more common at Corendon, as at other airlines.

I very much appreciate the announcement chime at 5:57 , it sounds very modern but simple.

Love the positive outlook on the flight! I’m a real nervous flyer (especially when travelling with an airline that’s new to me) and have been looking for a reliable review of Corendon to put my mind at ease. Lots of other reviews seem biased and overly-critical (which honestly makes me feel more frightened) as it is a low cost, ‘budget’ airline, but your review feels truly honest and you take a brilliant perspective in acknowledging the minor inconveniences (without blowing them out of proportion), but also putting focus onto the positives - celebrating the airline rather than putting them down! Bravo and many thanks from the UK 👏
I don’t receive detailed comments like this one very often, thank you so much!!! I can only concur, honestly I can not affirm any criticism of other aviation RUclipsrs, beside of the delays. Corendon‘s delays are huge sometimes, and as I already said, they happen more often than at other airlines.

Great that you showed the terminal connections between A, B and C. A lot of people fly from DUS and don't realize this alternative.
Also, although some queues can be immense, I love this airport - real easy to navigate it. Once of my favorites by far.

I’m flying with Corendon from Glasgow to Antalya on the 7th of august so hopefully I have an alright flight with them

They might tell you that you don't have to check in online from Glasgow but they won't tell you that you must check in online at Antalya and if you don't everyone is charged 10 euro. At Antalya the whole plane going to Glasgow and the Manchester plane as well were charged an extra 10 euro each, 500 passengers paid 5000 euro between them, so be ready for this. They also say they take cards or cash for onboard snacks but they won't take your card so you are left with only being able to pay in English currency or euros. I wouldn't bother as their snacks are fun-size (miniature) and grotty.

When do they check if you have overweight in your hand laguage, when you dont need to check-in and go to the secruity control directly?
Basically, many airlines place a metal-thing at the gates, in which the staff puts ur luggage to measure it. But often (or almost), the staff does not do that. In the end, you can just guess…

What time is your flight? At what time did you arrived there? Your video make me surprise because we go on holiday next month on 20 august with condor air. Our flight is 6:30 am. I hope everything is smooth too. Anyway, Have a great trip there !
Hey. Just look into the video description, I wrote the departure and arrival time down there. I also flew Condor a couple of years ago, it was a great flight!

Mich persönlich würde mal ein Trip Report über die Reise nach Russland interessieren, ich würde gerne illegal WrstBhvr-Pullis über die Grenze schmuggeln und diese dort aufessen😉

I have a question, i will fly with corendon this summer. I see you checken your baggage. Did you have hand luagguage or Spacious Baggage. Because i only have 8kg Hannd luggage and i think its not enough. The question is can i check in online so i can skip the check in so they dont see i have more kg than allowed.
This always depends on the airline. Flying Ryanair you would not be successful, but flying Corendon the chance is pretty high that they will not care for the weight and measure of your hand luggage.
As always, you have to decide whether you risk paying extra money.

No, it was not. Just a regular XC-flight
Are you allowed to drink alcohol on the bus like that?
YES! Usually, bus drivers at Antalya airport sell all kinds of drinks at their rides
