You know, while I don't have an issue with this game idea per se, cause freedom of choice is a basic human right (even if the choices we make aren't always the right ones), the problem I have is that this game, if it even exists, will be a niche among niches. I think having a AAA title centered around a trans woman of color is a fantastic idea actually if it's a new IP, and those are the specific themes (LGBTQIA+ themes). We know going in that this game is being made for a particular audience. What I don't like is shoehorning queer themes and politics into already existing IP with a different audience. eg) the next Metroid game will feature a plus sized trans woman of color as the main character...I would ask why that was done. I always say, don't turn something that exists "queer", just make new stuff aimed at "queer" audiences.

And with any demographic of people not all 8% of them are going to gamers because they might live in a poor country or no interested in video games. So there is no way a game made for 8% of the population is gonna be able to turn a profit its gonna be lucky of it breaks even.
