The only things you should care for a cable are: -Comfort (ear hooks & upper cables) -Looks -compatible jack for your device / swappable -mic if you need it either boom mic or regular
I absolutely respect the fact that you took the time to review a cable or two. The price is a bit hard to swallow, however. Especially since the cables are both more than I’ve spent on a set of IEMs. But that’s me. I guess I’m just having trouble with the idea of a $300 cable, much less a $3000 cable and on up. I can definitely see spending some good money on a cable upgrade, but based on my personal use case, that limit is about $50. I’d sooner buy a set of Blessing 3s, Performer 8s and grab a Tripowin Jelly or Altea for roughly the same cost as one of these cable. Actually I’d buy the Chopin and a Jelly and pocket the extra $80. All that said, always appreciate your reviews and perspective. This will be useful to some… not many, but definitely some. Well done sir!
For every train, there are passengers. Effect Audio saw that there are people stupid enough to spend absurd amount of money for 10$ worth of wires and they capitalize on it. Instead of competing about BA drivers in their iems, people should have been fighting about the number of cores in their cable. Soon I'll have a cable that looks like a rapper's chain.
Upgrading a premium cable does make a difference to sound , i.e. the signal transfering in a hyper speed instead of transfer signal like a snail with cheap stock ones , it improves the clarity ,separation ,smoothness and speed significantly , so it really depends on your wallet and how badly an audiophile nit pick to squeeze out of the maximum nano details from your premium IEMs. If you can afford one , for sure , audiophiles do care about it , that's why they exist in the market Thank You DAVE for bringing up this topic , Excellent video and always love your camera movie like graphics cheers !
Smoking that copium pack, i see. They exist because there are people dumb enough to buy them. Don't make a mistake, business is a business. If Effect Audio sees that there are people who are willing to spend 500-1000$ for a 10$ worth of wires, why not capitalize on their stupidity?

@@Audio-In-Reviewsthank you for the reply. Cable upgrades make no sense to me unless it improves the functionality of the IEMs. Doubling the cost of a set of premium IEMs for a marginal (if at all) improvement in sound quality is nonsensical to me.
@@ChubiPandaWell said. If a “premium” iem needs expensive cables to improve its sound quality, that’s a red flag. That’s not premium, that’s an incomplete product.
And here i thought i spent too much on my kinera leyding cable lol 😂 But i also want to have an effect audio cable with termx and conx as my only cable so i can easily swap cable when i upgrade iems
Nice review! What would be a good cable around 80$? I don't like Thieaudio cable because it is too stiff. It's for a Clairvoyance. At the beginning it was ok, but two years passed and after being rolled this time it has become too rigid
@@smolbo1 Hey, from your collection of cables, are there some notably expensive ones? Switching to kinera leyding made a huge difference, so much that I'm wondering if I should get an even more premium cable for even better sound. But if your collection has ones that are $150-$300+ and you find the leyding better, I won't bother looking around :P

most expensive cables are exactly what you Don't want for an IEM cable they are Heavy, Stiff they have memory and microphonics plus big and heavy hardware like the cable splitter chin slider and plugs all this makes them very uncomfortable to use especially if you walk after spending lots of time and money i found out that Best iem cables are 8 and 16 core ones cause usually these are very soft without any memory no microphonics and light and the best prices are between $20 to $120 ivipq have probably one of the Best cables on the market and the best prices just cause sometimes looks cool Dosn't mean it's comfortable to use
$699 for a cable is against my religion.
Lol! I totally get it! Thanks for watching!
yeah they added that in the last update
Lmfao yea same for me 😂
@@Audio-In-Reviews Wher have you got the earbuds for the Cadmus cable please? They only sell the cable without the in ear montor.

Based and true. "Improving sound" is snake oil spread by people from Dumb Island trying to justify their stupid financial decisions.

These cables are for people who have a lot of money but don't know how to spend it otherwise.
And I wish that was me…
Oh and I did but the Chopin and the Jelly to go with it. Money well spent!

🎉 Cables are actually fun to talk about! I'm definitely enjoying this research!🎉 Thank you
My threshold for a single cable purchase would be $200 based on my experience. Penon is my go to. Penon Vocal and Penon Space. Great review!

Is cadmus cable compatible with Sennheiser ie900?
can you tell me what is the best 2pin x 0.78 cable with mic?
What difference 4 or 8 wire?
These are the portable set of the Joker 😂 purple and green ! Good combo!
😂
Thanks. Do these cables fit in Chopin?
Yes, as long as you get the two pin versions. Thanks for watching!

All of this sounds a bit ..... no, A LOT ridiculous. WAY TOO much for glorified wire with what paracord sleeving. Nope.
Just waste of money
