The only things you should care for a cable are:
-Comfort (ear hooks & upper cables)
    -Looks
-compatible jack for your device / swappable
-mic if you need it either boom mic or regular

I absolutely respect the fact that you took the time to review a cable or two. The price is a bit hard to swallow, however. Especially since the cables are both more than I’ve spent on a set of IEMs. But that’s me. I guess I’m just having trouble with the idea of a $300 cable, much less a $3000 cable and on up. I can definitely see spending some good money on a cable upgrade, but based on my personal use case, that limit is about $50. I’d sooner buy a set of Blessing 3s, Performer 8s and grab a Tripowin Jelly or Altea for roughly the same cost as one of these cable. Actually I’d buy the Chopin and a Jelly and pocket the extra $80. All that said, always appreciate your reviews and perspective. This will be useful to some… not many, but definitely some. Well done sir!

For every train, there are passengers. Effect Audio saw that there are people stupid enough to spend absurd amount of money for 10$ worth of wires and they capitalize on it. The Dumb Islanders think "company cares, company knows" while company only sees... dollar signs. Its not the first nor the last time snake oil takes over the market.

Upgrading a premium cable does make a difference to sound , i.e. the signal transfering in a hyper speed instead of transfer signal like a snail with cheap stock ones , it improves the clarity ,separation ,smoothness and speed significantly , so it really depends on your wallet and how badly an audiophile nit pick to squeeze out of the maximum nano details from your premium IEMs.
If you can afford one , for sure , audiophiles do care about it , that's why they exist in the market
Thank You DAVE for bringing up this topic , Excellent video and always love your camera movie like graphics cheers !

Smoking that copium pack, i see. They exist because there are people dumb enough to buy them. Don't make a mistake, business is a business. If Effect Audio sees that there are people who are willing to spend 500-1000$ for a 10$ worth of wires, why not capitalize on their stupidity?

@@3ildcard it's really up to yourself willing to get the most sound out of your beloved IEMs , it's all about affordability, stock cables usually are really rubbish, I do change it as soon as I tested it out , it's harsh and not smooth, if you own a $20 set IEMs , you don't bothered to get a $200 cable , if you owned a $150+ IEMs set then , more expensive set can tell you more micro details , you don't want a cheap stock cable ruined your expensive investment, $50+ cables can do a good job already of course there are some people are millionaire or billionaire can easily afford $1000+ cables for hyper details improvements , as I said before cheaper IEMs are not worth the investment, cables are like DAC/AMP , you can spend $20 or $20,000 , just up to your affordability.Middle range you can't tell much difference, higher end $1000-$5000+, anyone can tell a difference.
If you tell me it's a Dumbo investment, that is really wrong, it's about how much love you would enjoy a superb IEMS for your favourite music. In different levels, in different experiences , level 1 to 10 you choose ! Thank You .

      @Audio-In-Reviews  Год назад +2

@@Audio-In-Reviewsthank you for the reply. Cable upgrades make no sense to me unless it improves the functionality of the IEMs. Doubling the cost of a set of premium IEMs for a marginal (if at all) improvement in sound quality is nonsensical to me.

Switching to kinera leyding made a huge difference, so much that I'm wondering if I should get an even more premium cable for even better sound. I don't know why cables get the bad out of half the audio community...
To say it in my way:
    1) Less than one per mille can hear great differences between cables other than material differences.
    2) Every cable is worth what its worth for yourself. If you say you will give 1$ for it or 15.000$ you decide, but you can't do that for me!
    3) Why I would buy a cable in this pricepoint? Let me think? a) something special like CONX & TermX b) build quality c) look
    Did I forget something?
    Have a nice day

most expensive cables are exactly what you Don't want for an IEM cable they are Heavy, Stiff they have memory and microphonics plus big and heavy hardware like the cable splitter chin slider and plugs all this makes them very uncomfortable to use especially if you walk after spending lots of time and money i found out that Best iem cables are 8 and 16 core ones cause usually these are very soft without any memory no microphonics and light and the best prices are between $20 to $120 ivipq have probably one of the Best cables on the market and the best prices just cause sometimes looks cool Dosn't mean it's comfortable to use
