Hey - what are you thoughts on this? As a mom to two kids, it gets overwhelming to just complete tasks and race against time. We see people using tonnes of productivity apps and it stems from our need to optimize time better and better. 4000 week by Oliver Burkeman says that we cannot truly ever finish everything on our plate. People try notes, printouts of school schedules, shared calendars, whatsapp, post its and more but it just felt more fragmented. What helped me was to start with priorities - block time for gym, reading, social media, work, kids bed-time, start a new habit, work focus time, 1 client presentation, coffee with mom every 2 weeks, etc then architect tasks around it - like rocks, pebbles and sand. Designing your life around your priorities helps you make calendar an execution tool and not get dictated by lists and tasks. Notes and calendaring + reminders in one place is pretty effective.
By the way - to solve this, we are building fhynix and would love for folks to try it

Is it possible to show the mini calendar at the bottom of the desktop ticktick within the desktop app? Currently I am only able to have it on the chrome extension.

I have 1 major question though, how do I add events on my calendar and not tasks? I want to use TickTick to plan my whole day but I want also events instead of only tasks. In the iOS Shortcuts app there is 2 shortcuts: Add Task & Add Event To Calendar, but they seem to function the same. Both tasks

You can associate notes with a date as well. Try and see if that achieves the outcome you're looking for. Looking forward to hearing your feedback.

Lucas is my favorite, well for that matter, one and only go to guy - when it comes to learning how to navigate using 'Ticktick'.
IMO, it's the biggest crime in productivity farternity that, 'Ticktick' isn't paying this gentleman for all what he's doing.
He's the reason why I subscribed to Ticktick and keep on using it.

Thanks for this video. I just subscribed. I’m going to start using Tick Tick. I have two jobs and want to have tasks separately. Have one question. I want to have an alarm on my phone or watch for specific tasks. Can I do that?

You can set up reminders that are separate from due dates and those reminders will show on your phone/watch, but I don't think you can set those reminders on a per-device basis

Setting up habits in TickTick is a bit confusing to me. Can you do a walkthrough of each of the options when setting up a new habit and how they work?

You're in luck, a video on habits is coming up tomorrow!
