Not only buggy ,it literaly sucks ,we would better like another DLC ,or a new witcher like game combining skyrim physics and assassins' creed climbing.( And VR in 100 years later maybe And multiplayer in 200 years later maybe)
Man....This soundtrack makes me nostalgic and emotional at the same time. I miss those days when the game came out, and I will forever cherish them! Best game and soundtrack ever made.
Maksim Lozanoski just do what I did, take a couple years hiatus from playing and restart it again. It may even be better than playing the first time. Also I haven’t finished Hearts of Stone or Blood and Wine...and with cyberpunk being shit I may have to reboot this bad boi 😎
@@DK_Savage Have they fixed all the BS with Cyberpunk yet? Like, is it even remotely playable? I bought it for my dad for Christmas when it came out, but he couldn't even get the game to install...
@@witchskee you will still find bugs for sure, nothing game breaking though. I've been playing since it launched and yeah, the game is pretty fun, even though it is nowhere near to what was promised leading to the game launch. I would advice playing on a good pc if you have a chance, if not, i hear the next gen consoles are a good way to experience it too. Just stay away from the ps4 and xbox one versions.
I think S1 of Netflix's Witcher suffers a lot of ejecutive producers messing up with the tone of the series. The series started months after GoT ended abruptly, leaving a gigantic fanbase dissapointed and I think that a lot of changes were made to Netflix's Witcher in order to appeal the vaccum that GoT left. It is not suprise that the series was advertised as "the new Game of Thrones". I hope that S2 and S3 will be made with more freedom to capture the books and maybe the games' tone
Когда слушаешь эти мелодии,то чувствуешь себя как-будто дома,как-будто ты на своём месте и нет ничего более в жизни что будоражит кровь сильнее чем эти саундтреки,теперь я понял что такое искусство по-настоящему.
@@alexanderm8975 he said: when you listening this melody, you feel like you are in your home, like in your place and nothing will be more exciting than this music. Now he understands what is the real art.
1:13:45 Ladies of the Woods. That sound was so fitting and memorable in that scene. Music was not the only thing that made this game the best ever, but damn, it played a HUGE roll!
Totally agree! I recently started reading them and hoping to be fully prepared until the netflix series comes out, because they said its all obviously based on the books, not the games. I just hope soooo much we wont get disapointed. ( sorry my english isnt that well)
It's the best theme in an already amazing soundtrack. Still rivals Elden Ring, Celeste, BOTW, Danganronpa, Hollow Knight, Terraria, Mushoku Tensei, even Re:Zero, and more... not all of Zelda tho Just shamelessly mentioning my favourite soundtracks at this point
@@CHARIF_Omar As much as I love Skyrim, I'd say its different. Skyrim is more like going back to my childhood place, with the ambient, the landscapes, the cities etc... Witcher is more about the characters... Don't you agree?
Sad to tell you this, but chances are only very few of the original team of Witcher 3 are now making Cyberpunk 2077. In game companies, employees are very much project-based. When a game finishes, many programmers and designers would leave. When a new project starts, the company hires new talents. (The managerial people mostly stay of course). That being sad, I still look forward to Cyberpunk 2077.
@@corneliaedgerton3595 With luck, the fact the managers stayed will mean the overarching vision stayed. I'd stake actual money on this thing succeeding, but to be fair gambling hasn't been that nice to me lately lol
@@DestructorN7 This game is the best thing EVER happened to singleplayer gamers. If you did not play you miss the best thing there ever was out there till now IMO.
@@DestructorN7 do it! do it, do it and also do it! This game is the very best ever made I believe. It is worth every penny just like both of the DLC´s. Consider this though, start playing if you don´t have anything important going on in the next days or maybe weeks because once you start...
Because it has the most used Chords and thus the Chords your Brain knows and thus loves as it can connect it with other Memories. Them it has a 2/4 Basic Rhythm that is countered by the second Drum - breaks up the common 4totheFloor but yet is close enough. Then, it has a circulating Melody that out Brain connects mostly with "Dancing" and "Party". As, when Music or Sound occurs, that resembles this Song, you will be mostly in a Situation that is pleasant for you and you will have lived some of thoose, your Brain connects the Music emotionally with the "good Vibes". Kinda Pawlows Dog and the Bell.
Ha! I just noticed this channel is called "Classical Music"... It makes sense. Just like today we refer to Beethoven and Tchaikovski as classical music, in 200 years people will talk about legendary OSTs and this list will be there.
I'm not as sold on THIS soundtrack, but when it comes to Japanese composers like Nobuo Uematsu (Final Fantasy), Koji Kondo (Mario & Zelda), Koichi Sugiyama (Dragon Quest), Yasunori Mitsuda (Chrono Trigger) and Yuzo Koshiro (Actraiser), I definitely think the Japanese Video Game Music Renaissance from the 1980's to early 2000s will be looked at as a second coming of truly fantastic classical music that will stand the test of time for hundreds of years to come.
51:50 The catchiest and the most epic track ever made. I don't know any other track from any ost of any game that sounds better than this. This game and the ost of it is so good. Smh that I didn't experienced it earlier.
This masterpiece of a soundtrack will never get old. The gameplay was amazing and there are very few games out there that keep drawing back over the years like this one. The only bad thing I have to say about is I have never gotten enough.
Meu Deus! Que nostalgia, o melhor game que já joguei, zerei apenas uma vez sem saber de nada, nem sabia o que era The Witcher, hoje estou terminando de ler os livros, que obra fantástica, a melhor saga de livros para mim também.
Concerning the Netflix serie, i hope they follow right the book because it is important! BUT, i really hope too they ll use some musics of the video game because it is really legendary!!
no, they won't. I think it is because of Sepkowski's hatred towards the games (envy) that the show is sticking so close to the books and essentially pretending the games do not exist. It would not surprise me if in his contract old Sep' had stipulated something like that
The fields of Ard Skellige is my favorite, I remember just riding on little trails through Ard Skellige and it was so peaceful. I would just stop and admire the world it was such a surreal moment that I haven't experienced since Skyrim. Best soundtrack in any game ever.
The sound of an epic adventure. Ahh the memories. I know it's not the same but this was the kind of game i dreamed about after playing Zelda Ocarina of time as a kid. Hopefully there will be another good Witcher game in the future.
Every time I would be stuck on a college assignment, especially the long essays, I would play this soundtrack the whole time I'd be working. Never got less than a B grade on all of them lol
Leí muchísimos comentarios y no puede ser, nadie habla de After the storm 59:50 Carajo, que pieza de arte, para mi, uno de los mejores soundtrack del juego.
Foltest was the living proof of why monarchy is a dumb idea. His sister went around killing his citizens and he couldn't care less, 'cause he used to bang her back in the day.
Maybe an HBO or Starz adaption would have been good, but that Netflix bullshit looks like crap to me. Low budget, random actors and a pathetic showrunner. I hope it will be cancelled soon, before it ruins the franchise.
The show is woke netflix garbage. Henry Cavill is amazing, the sowrd fights are great and the guy who plays Jaskier/Dandelion is funny af. The rest is total shite. Shitty writing/dialogue,blackwashed characters (Fringilla,Yennefer etc.) cheap af special effects (the dragons in ep.6 or the Silvan in ep. 2) Also, the demoted Geralt into a sidecharacter in his own fucking show!
I want to cry... So much of great memories. Thanks to compositors of this music and to developers of this game! I already preordered Cyberpunk! BTW - The best voice of Gerald is in RU version of the game. Pity that they didn't found similar voice for English version of the game.
@@pedrinhohen7216 I understand what you mean… :) But actually… I don't regret it at all. Cyberpunk occurred to be the biggest disappointment of the year! But I’m still feeling like I ought to CD’s for all those wonderful months of fun playing in Witcher 3. I actually regret buying many other games which I’ve played for not more than a week or two. When Cyberpunk was available for playing I was on vacation so missed all that shit storm that happened. :) I still didn’t install Cyberpunk. Will wait until some “Final Edition” will be announced with all required fixes.
@@Volodymyr_SVD wtf is not even a bad game, you are on drugs or what xd the game is amazing, the bugs is the less important thing, wait 1 fckin year and you stop crying.
my dads played this game so many times and he would let me watch witcher contracts. one day when i became a teen he said that i could play it. and i loved the ost and still do
Imagine being one of the music composers of this OST..your life has had more meaning than you could have ever imagined. Thankyou to every single one of them.
Yesterday I was at a symphony orchestra dedicated to soundtracks from The Witcher 3. I can't describe my happiness! Being in the orchestra of your favorite musical group is something cool, but ordinary. But listening to great music from your favorite game in the theater for 7 years, after the very first passage, is incredible.
I don't know how a single game can make 3.5 hours of soundtracks and all of them are amazing not a single one is bad, I spam it while working and never get tired, I am really obsessed with Witcher and hopefully they will do a new one too
I remember shivering while listening to LOTR OST and re-reading the two towers... but now while reading the tower of the swallow I think I am getting even more fascinated and addicted, because the Witcher's universe is so much closer to my heart ethnically. and yes, this music is eargasmic. all of it.
King's Bran's Final Voyage (19:34) defines Witcher 3 as a whole for me... A vast game where you are forced to think about moral choices but they all suck...
Really? I'm the biggest filmmusic/ost fan and listen to that kind of stuff all the time. I could name you a bunch of soundtracks who are as good or better :D but i agree, the witcher 3 soundtrack is something special ;)
@@Soft7y well depends on what you already know and what kind of movies/tv shows or games you like. I mean Game of Thrones has so many incredible pieces like "Light of the Seven", "The Night King" or "The Last of the Starks" I think those are definitely my favorites from that Show. Then if you look at other things: "First Step" by Hans Zimmer is amazing or "The Immolation Scene" by John Williams. But I mean pieces from Star Wars or like Lord of the Rings are a topic for itself. I could just name you a List for those movies :D but I mean it's just my opinion, it depends on what kind of music and what kind of Movies/Shows etc. you like ;)
Thank you for putting this one up! Love this game and how in depth it is; Looks amazing as well. I must say just how fantastic the soundtrack is, and that after playing I at times listen to this as background music while doing other things. Glad I have a decent headset for this.
Had my first encounter with a werewolf in a glade clearing. It was night and pouring rain, and as i didnt have any silver to stop its regen and this song started playing and for what felt like a full 5 mins i had the most epic fight of any video game ever. Im 32 years old and have played my share of games.
The soundtrack, the game, .... it fits so perfectly, made it sublime. I will never forget the children in the field singing the nursery rhyme about Gaunter O'Dimm. Everything is so inconspicuous in passing. And at the end this bombast with the song right in your face. So brilliant! These subtleties in Heart Of Stone were unique for a game.

The netflix series is desperately missing this music
@FireDan the show is based of the book, not the game...
@FireDan in the books, Ciri is a child, just like the show, she looks pretty close to what the author described.
Among other poor choices made.
I want some fan to made a mix of the Netflix series with this music 🤣
Когда слушаешь эти мелодии,то чувствуешь себя как-будто дома,как-будто ты на своём месте и нет ничего более в жизни что будоражит кровь сильнее чем эти саундтреки,теперь я понял что такое искусство по-настоящему.

Sad to tell you this, but chances are only very few of the original team of Witcher 3 are now making Cyberpunk 2077. In game companies, employees are very much project-based. 58:14 dont know why, but i love this music.

Unfortunatelly Netflix doesn't have the right to follow the book or inspire of the game. This order came from the author of the novel itself
no, they won't. I think it is because of Sepkowski's hatred towards the games (envy) that the show is sticking so close to the books and essentially pretending the games do not exist. It would not surprise me if in his contract old Sep' had stipulated something like that
