I have almost the exact same squad, though I haven't found that tome yet so I gave Railanor the Familiar's Choker for 50% bonus magic attack to Rosa's board nuke. I thought the synergy of her being able to immediately cleanse the debuff it gives her and giver her a free evade kinda funny.
i think you could put double cast accessory on your Rosa so most likely everything ends at her turn
that can probably give you more space for others for buffing
berengaria is the best pursuer she gets PP on pursuit if she wants on afflicted targets that means unlimited pursuit
what i do with Rosie is first action Primus/elemntal Impetus. start of battle rage of fariies back row. and have someone stun the front row. it takes 1 cycle longer to pop Elemental Roar but with a full stun set up its easy and you get to pop Roar with full Fairies for maximum damage, probably unnecessary but so much fun.

Yeah... rosalinde marriage with kingslance is what I did. Unfortunately this does mean that after the short human lifespan is up, Cornia will be ruled by an elf woman for a very long time which is not based. But agree Rosalinde is the best unit in the game, and there are a lot of busted uniques.
Loving the purple theme - I went Red & Copper with some black and white across all of my units. What growths are you giving Alain and Gilbert
False, After the king dies the first born boy serves as king regardless if wife is alive. She'll only serve as his regent until he comes of age. So this is clearly based as She'll be alive to guide each and every generation making sure the next successors are competent.

While interesting deep dives, the game sadly isn't that deep when it comes to roflstomping. I balanced my main crew around the arena fights since it gives the most variety of encounters and at high levels of play. That said, the ultimate Alain team can simply be: him, Amalia, Renault, Clive, and Sharon. Most were equipped with complete debuff immunity or stun at the very least. The comp can't be beaten by high initiative teams that kill your one-shot combos by simply wyvern debuffing your team or other similar situations. They cleave any armor comp and Amalia provides enough CC that most of the incoming damage is mitigated through guards or simply never getting to act. If it's anything squishy like rogue teams, well true strike has a word with them. I posted it up on Reddit and challenge anyone to find better, especially since it doesn't require shuffleboarding members around, swapping gear, or tactics. They just perform every time.
Amalia only CC when an ennemy guard one of your attack so thats not really enough, you will only CC the frontline
Also swordmaster with meteor attack while being buffed by a coin and the cat ear trinket while you have a witch to give magical saber WILL one shot Alain AND Amalia turn one.
As Alain is the best unit in the whole game, your initiative boosting will be negated by the enemy Alain own inititative boosting, leaving you actually wide open to the swordmaster onslaught. (Or just the frontline you couldnt stun will tank your knight)
Also everybody can run stun immunity so your amalia isnt really that threatening
I also think some well made Flying team can maybe win against your comp
And I dont know how you pass full armor comp that run stun immunity as your whole team is physical and your only ennemy shutdown is stun....
Malus immunity gear ? As far as I know only Alain got one and sharon can be pp drained kinda easely, but i didnt finish the game yet
@@anonyme4881 CCing the front line means tanks can’t do their job. Also, stun is just icing; it’s the guard seal that sets up wild rushes to absolutely destroy a tank that can’t block. And I’ve seen what meteor slash does with Alain there to block it. Those string of 1’s are delicious.
@@JodouTR Then those dude are playing the meteor slash wrong cause in my game with your team Alain actually get one shot with his personal weapon, personnal ring and fully upgraded shield with 1 level more than my swordmaster
+100% critical damage is stupid
@@JodouTR also any team worth their salt would be running seal guard and any cc immunity/mitigation/cure
Btw guard seal doesnt totally stop the guard skill, a full physical defense unit is still a pain in the ass to kill with it
Similar to guild wars 1, "high levels of play" will translate to circular counter teams.
You described a team comp that counters most common teams, which will then lose to a team that counters it. These builds will become common knowledge and likely rotate around based on what is working best before someone finds counters to it.
A loses to B, B loses to C, C loses to D, D loses to A, or in this case you are running anti debuffs but they will find some team comp that undoes this then someone else will find a team comp that undoes that and ultimately it boils down to "Build wars", which was guild wars 1 pvp slang for just creating counter-teams to counter the enemy explicitly.
It can be fun to puzzlesolve these teams in single player arena, but as a multiplayer game it is more or less sophisticated rock paper scissors.
