Will I ever make it as a digital artist? 💭
Ever had this thought before? I know I have, and so has every other digital artist on the planet. It's not unusual to experience self-doubt in digital art or in any creative field. Today I'm here to talk about how you can get through it. 💪
Now that I'm a full-time professional digital painter the in digital art didn't go away completely, but I have gotten better at dealing with it.
In this video, I want to share with you some things that helped me push towards my art goal of becoming a pro digital artist without listening to those negative thoughts. #PaintableCommunity #SelfDoubt

Thanks for this. Discouragement from comparing a novice skill level to that of experienced professionals is such a challenge for beginners. Intermediates face similar challenges as well.

I started a new job about a month ago and I just don't have any drive to create anymore. I'm really enjoying my job, I think it just is taking a lot of mental energy. Im frustrated because I had been making good progress but my interest just disappeared and I wamt it back
Here's something for you to try. Sit down just for five minutes to draw each day. On most days you will get up after 5 minutes, but there will be some days where you will enjoy it so much you will not want to stop. 🙂

Great video. Most times, I get lost cos I don't know what to draw. That's my biggest concern now.
Also, please can I draw with mouse on desktop Photoshop?
You can draw with a mouse, but if you want to improve consider investing in a small tablet. Any tablet will do, not just the big brands.

Hey have you ever felt that You just don't want to draw?
Like I love to draw but for some reason recently it I am not feeling the derive I used to feel and I haven't been drawing for a month now. Have you ever felt that? If yes any tips to get out from this feeling?
Creative blocks are perfectly normal. Some take only a week some take longer than that.
I'd suggest doing some personal projects like fan art or challenges that are fairly easy and fun. Take your time to find joy in painting again. 🙂

But what if:
1. Momentum doesn't lead to progress, just burnout
2. You're not afraid of failure but just tired of it, since that's all you ever do
3. You can't find the "right people" because they're all so much better than you, and they end up making you feel even more inferior.

Hey Stuart, there's a trick with burnouts. You can't avoid them completely, but you can kind of notice them coming. If you take a bit of time to rest then, it doesn't hit you that hard.
When it comes to failure, you have to ask yourself, is it really ALL you ever do? Or you are just too harsh to yourself.

@@Paintable Been a member since December. Turns out I really don't work well with others; especially when I seem to be the worst one of the group.😅
@@oobleck999 maybe ur not rlly into huge crowds/communities like me 😅 also like that lol! it's not that im shy or whatever, but i feel overwhelmed and lazy to interact considering the amount of ppl in discord servers and communities hsbxhhshahshahhaha
