This is great footage!!!!! You can really see the speed their making…… Keep up the great droning and looking forward to see the live footage from your drone(s)!!!🤙
Thank you! It’s the Mavic 3, no post-stabilisation. Shot in 4K- 60fps, D-Log. Will add FPV in the future as well, but I see endless more possibilities with “normal drones” that haven’t been done yet😎
@@johannes_hertel cheers for the info. I used to use the Mavic 2 pro but moved onto the FPV but like your level stabilized shots. Keep em coming. Great flying 🤙
Thanks! Must have been around 12-15 knots close to shore I’d say. Outside where they were going I guess 14-18 but that’s super hard to tell because I wasn’t out there😅
I notice that when the drone is following a single windsurf, the image starts to look like it's CGI. The person and the gear seem detached from the background and too crisp to be real. That also happened when I watched Fuerteventura PWA Freestyle sessions. There is probably some AI that recognizes the object as foreground and optimizes the parameters for it. It does look fake tho. Check for example from 0:58. It looks like the avatar of Nico Prien, hair loss included. Do you know more about this Johannes?
Hi! If anybody has hairloss, that’s a generic thing, nothing the drone does :) What you are referring to is actually a sign of a good quality camera. Next time you watch a movie, you can focus on the shallow depth of field (for example a person fully in focus and the background blurry). It’s what people refer to as “cinematic look”. That happens when the aperture is wide open (I do 2,8-4,5) which in case you get close to the rider and the auto focus manages to “catch” the person to make it fully sharp, then the same happens. When I manage to keep the rider nice and centered and move the drone fast then you will have a blurry, fast moving background and the rider in focus. No CGI here but good question!

The chasing perspective brings the suspense to a whole new level - incredible! Makes me want to go out and race with friends immediately...😎
Please keep on doing this excellent work with the drone. Just incredible
I haven’t planned to stop any time soon! Thank you🙏
That is such good drone work, LOVE IT! Great to see the guys just blasting out to sea like that.
Thank you very much!😎 I’m really looking forward to deliver more radical slalom action for you guys🚁👌🏻. Let’s see what the next days bring!
Amazing windsurf speed also…. Great images and shot.
Thanks Francois🙏
Fantastic. The footage from close behind reminds me of sailing out a ways from shore at the outer banks with friends. Thanks!

Great flying. What drone are you using? Custom build or DJI? Post processing using Reelsteady Go?

@@TheYellowDmon Awesome, enjoy flying FPV! I love it, it's so much fun. However I personally so space and necessity for both :)
👏👏
❤What drone if I may ask ?
DJI Mavic 3! :)
Very enjoyable video. Do you know the wind speed ? Thanks !!

How is the speed on the starboard course? Is it a Beam Reach course? Or Broad Reach course? Seems crazy by flying over the big chops
This is Nice flying sir !!! Is this mavic 3 in sport or Custom UAV ?
Thanks! It's the Mavic 3 in Sports mode :)
They really need to start hiring fpv pilots for events!
The competition is going to be done in Pozo or Im Arinaga (bahia de formas)?.
Pozo!
Amazing stuff! Is the PWA planning to use your (or another's?) drone flying for live broadcast during the competition?
Thank you! Good question, let's see what the next two days bring!
What drone is this?
The DJI Mavic 3
My knees hurt.

Por que se ve tan oscuro?
quítate las gafas de Sol hombre ! 😎
Did anybody go out on a foil yet?
They did when the wind wasn‘t as strong!
@@johannes_hertel but 14 to 18 kts isn't that strong. I wonder what it would look like with that kind of chop and swell.
@@slickvisualpoetry sorry I confused the video with the last slalom edit I uploaded. There it was 30 to 35 knots.
