I was there! My Mom Mercedes was there... Many friends and family members were there! Great show. Rest in Eternal Love and Peace Stevie Ray Vaughn, Mom, Natalie... Darryl ...
My family friends and loved ones were at Harriet Island in the audience of the Stevie Ray Vaughan Concert. It was a highly charged environment. The vibe was over the top. Rest in Eternal Love Stevie Ray Vaughan.
Has anyone been able to access this VIDEO, not just the audio? If so, could you please share how you got it, bec I'm not the only commenter able to hear but not see it. Am asking bec channel is called SRVMusic VIDEO, but my phone plays only the concert audio, so don't know if problem is just w/ my device, or is the video simply not here? Not complaining-- am grateful for the audio. But I went to this 1989 outdoor concert, so was hoping to see as well as hear it again. SO glad + grateful I got to see Stevie live!! 😎
I was there front row center stage. My recollection is that there were very few people in attendance due to a weird time slot , and the every present MN rainy weather. And then he was gone forever. Was anyone else there?
I was there, along with my family friends and loved ones. My Mom showed up too! Everybody from the West Side and East Side of Saint Paul who knew music was there.
I was there! Front row, or very close. I could very clearly see all the details of his heavenly face 😊 beautiful man, indeed! Does anyone here remember Ryan's on Sibley or the Payne Reliever? St Paul's rockin' East Side!!!!
I was born the day of this concert and have always loved SRV ever since. My Father would put SRVs music for me to listen while my mother was pregnant with me. Growing up in Texas his iconic free flowing live style captured me and continues to inspires me all these years later. One of the finest persons and artist that ever walked Gods green Earth.
This man is the brightest star over Texas and a national treasure. Rest in peace Stevie and be ready for your best concert ever....we are looking forward praise God!!
I believe this is from 1986…I was there…before the show a friend (Titus) and I were smoking a spliff behind the fence in the backstage area and guess who drives by in a tricked out convertible hot rod…none other than SRV. An amazing day.
I was at this show and so thankful that I was able to see him. I had a ticket to his final show in Alpine Valley but had to give it to my brother as I wasnt able to go.........
Heaven sent-no doubt about it! So thankful for this incredible talent, heart and SOUL. All the best wrapped up in SRV! His music gives us so much and always will! Sometimes only Stevie Ray will do when I need to feel 10 times more alive!
@@SRVMusicVideo Are there any bootlegs of songs like Stangs Swang or Change it from the 1989-90 period? I feel like after he got sober he dropped a lot of songs out of his itinerary that he used to play. I don’t know if what I said makes any sense.
Where's the "VIDEO" part? all I'm getting is a poorly recorded show. Still, SRV was the greatest guitarist that has or will ever walk this earth. He sure knew how to throw a party!
Great stuff. I liked the setlist he switched to (Collins shuffle, Voodoo Chile, Riviera Paradise, etc.) towards end of 1989 and into 1990 better than this lineup. He must have got tired of just playing these album songs.
Great video my friend thanks! :)
SRV forever.

I know, right?! What a blessing SRV was.
Amen
I was at this show. Front row. I could see the sweat flying off his face. And, I could see his gums and teeth, and his squinty eyes

Great show!! I was just a young punk getting loaded and watching the best player in the world tear up the river!
I was at this concert outdoors, I dropped a hit of 4-way teddybear and was about 40' away ,,, in front ...

Hell yeah! Somewhere in that crowd is a 15 year old me at his first concert sans parents.

Man, leave it to SRV to combine 2 great songs into 1 on the spot! That's insanely cool!!!

@@SRVMusicVideo do you have the 1990 Riverfest please. Voodoo chille was pretty epic, as I think he was using a Les Paul on that one
@@SRVMusicVideo hey there; do you have mesker amphitheater in Evansville aug 2 1989??
