I filed in September 2022 and was approved in August 2023. Total wait time - 11 months (Marriage-based Concurrent Filing with Roe for Medical). Local Field Office was Los Angeles.
My husband filled for me and my 3 kids on September 22 2022 been actively reviewing September 30 2023 we are still waiting am really heart broken knowing my husband is a us citizen these things or really unfair
I sent a Service Request after my Family Based I-495 Is Delayed for over 3yrs, They Lost my I-693, On November 2022 They Received my Medical Exam and Indicate that they received it. But in Dec 2023 They Sent me a Letter asking For Medical exam as if I never sent it in Nov 2022. Now After sending a Second one and 60 Days Later I wrote a Service Request, They texted me Probably Auto Email Telling me It will Take about 6 Months. So My conclusion is, It is a Waste of Time to Write them a Service request. They Don't do anything!
From Ghana. My US citizen Dad filed for me, and I'm less than 21 years old. Case was filed in August 2022 and they've been saying case is actively been reviewed since February 2023. November 2023 now, it's been more than a year and they still say Case is actively been reviewed. Please when will they approve our case?
We filed an I-130 Apr 14, 2023 for spousal visa. I am a US citizen and my wife is from the Philippines. Originally it said it would take until November 20, 2023 but for the last three months we are getting the message that our case is taking longer than expected. Our case started out in Texas and I live in NY State.
Mine is the same thing. I filed in May 2023. Now it says it's taking longer than expected. I no longer have my hopes up. For all I know this might not approve until May next year or later.
Thank you very much!!. It's really greatest information and was waiting for this information since long. I really appreciate your effort in making such informative video.
Our son has been waiting for over 2 years on his wife's application for a Green Card. When he was here in the USA re-establishing his work career, she tried to join him but she was stopped at SEA-TAC airport and sent back to China. He returned to China and lives with her there. They have been married to each other for 9 years. The political situation for foreigners (especially Americans) in China is disintegrating and he is becoming fearful for his safety. He literally cannot walk down a street withour Chinese people spitting on his and being aggressive towards him. Immigration sat on her application for 2 years because they didn't like what the Peoples Republic of China issues as a marriage license. My wife and I are active in Democratic Party politics here in PA and we asked our Senator (Fetterman) to see what he can do to speed things up. After his office contacted Immigration her marriage license all of a sudden was acceptable. Supposedly the case has been sent to the US Consulate in Shanghai for an interview, but this was 4 months ago and they have heard nothing. What advice can you give them? How can she get into the USA and have her interviews here? My wife and I are US citizens with sufficient income and assets to support them while this get sorted out.
Update - within one week of Sen Fetterman's office getting involved, the marriage license has been accepted and his wife has her immigration appointment in Bancock Thailand on December 1st. Our son left China and went to Thailand because of the deteriorating conditions for Americans there. His wife will be joining him in Thailand just before Dec 1 and when she receives her immigrant visa the two of them will be coming home, to the good old USA. I can't thank Senator Fetterman and his staff enough for what they did for my son and daughter in law.
Update - his wife's immigration interview at the US embassy in Bangkok is in early February 2024. It looks like they both will be clear to enter the USA in early to mid March 2024.
Is there any way i can get help in my case?? My husband applied for i130 for myself in Aug 2023, now status is being actively reviewed, and status says its taking longer than expected and no further documents required at this moment.
Is it normal that my I-485 is being actively reviewed, but my I-130 still says only that a notice has been sent? shouldn't the I-130 be reviewed first? Thank you!
My case was submitted in September 2022, it has been actively reviewed at the last step of decision in “my progress”, since December 2023, for the first 6 months it said that i will have a decision in 3 weeks, now it said 3 months. My husband is American, we have a baby together, this is way too long ..
I’m completely confused. I filed my wife’s I130 online November 27 2023, a week later it says estimated time for a decision four months, a week later is said 3 months, than another week later 2 months, than January 2, it says your case is being actively reviewed. Estimated time for decision four weeks., than 3 weeks. Everyone I spoke with prior to filing said it would take a year just for this part. I read online that it will go to one week than it’s taking longer than expected, I’m told this is where it will sit for a good year. I’m curious as to what other people have experienced..
Hi, I have same. I applied for my husband online aprile 7,2023. A day after it says estimated time 11m, than until June, each time it was reduced by a month, and then there were 2 months, 1 month, 4 weeks, etc. Since October it says that “it’s taking longer than expected” but my status changed also in October to “Being Actively Reviewed”
Have same problem. It seems that the countdown estimated time of the website does not work, it is pretty useless for my case as well. You will probably pass to: Estimated time until case decision: Your case is taking longer than expected to process. You will be notified if you need to take any action. I have been like that for 2-3 months already.
Yeah same for me, mine is now saying case is taking longer than expected and so on, it’s been that way for about 4 months now, I’m still praying. I file for my husband in October of 2023.
My husband applied for his two brothers in 2020, one went under review months later and one went under review in 2022. It is now 2024 and we still haven't heard anything since then.
Hi, my husband filed I-130 in December 2021 in California, by August 2023 the status says “estimated time 3 months until case decision. He checked in January 2024, status showed estimated time was 1 week to case decision. Then checked a week after, status says actively been reviewed till now we haven’t gotten any response 😢 we are young couples trying to grow our family. He has mailed and called multiple times but no response 😔 what can we do
You can go to tool section in USCIS website and submit a response that asks why it’s taking so long. You will get response by mail or email of them saying why.
They received our petition on November 16th 2021 and still waiting every time we call they said same thing it's on normal processing time we did the info pass the lawyer already sent them emails saying to approve it and nothing, they told us twice someone from a number will call us but that's a lie they never do just today April the 18th they added another 6 months to the I-130 its been years since we sent it and no answer yet
So I have one question regarding for my fiancé case. When she’s was here she had termpory green card and that was expired on September 2023 but before expired we applied permanent resident green card and her case is being actively review by USCIS but my question is she don’t have any document beside green card and driver license but both was expired and she don’t have anything even i90 to so. Thanks for sharing. I appreciate your videos. We provided the information required on an RFE for my husband’s case about a month and a half. Is it true that we should be getting an answer about USCIS decision at the two month mark? Thanks
I renewed green card its approved but its never received in my mail but its shows delivered. Applied again for replacement I90 form but still waiting and its says actively reviewed since 6 month. Maybe did not pay is cause of delay should i pay even it was not my fault .
I applied May 2022 to replace an expired card. They mailed it out August 2022. It got lost in the mail so I had to start over November 2022. I just received information that they are viewing my case and it could take up to 16 months. That would be more than three years for a replacement card. Is there anything I could do to process things faster?
Would having an ailing, disabled parent in the US and a child to take care of be a good reason to apply for expedited processing?i applied for i 130 for spouse overseas and we have a child who I'm planning on taking with me to the US and need help as i can't help my parent by myself and taking care of child. does this qualify?
My date for filing became current in May 2023 (green card was filed in 2016 for f1 category) I got actively reviewed notice on June 28, 2023. Online it says I should get an EAD and travel permit in 12-16 weeks, is this still true?

I have a green card application through marriage. I applied 7 months ago. Got a request for the medical exam in August. Sent it back right away. They received the medical exam package and approved my work permit right after that. Now, how long should I expect to get a decision on my case?
@@mohnewyork1082 No. my i130 was approved in August 2022. I was going to do the consular processing. But I had a family emergency and got an advance parole through DACA. Went out and got back in. Got the stamp and was able to adjust status here. Does that mean I will be called for an interview?

My sister's h1b visa case has been under review since October 7, 2022. At her visa interview in her home country, she received a 221g notice. Later, the Department of State transferred her case to USCIS for review. Despite her H1B amendment being approved, the initial petition is still under review. We're unsure if she can go ahead with the interview using the approved amendment.
Active review on my standalone I 130 with foreign national spouse overseas (Africa). Priority Date May 4, 2023. Active review Sep 8th, 2023. Processing time was 3 months left, then bounced up to 7 months on Oct 4, 2023 then went back down to 6 months on Oct 5, then now 4 months on Oct 7, 2023. Just weird. Massachusetts resident.
Having the same problem, but now the estimated times says: Your case is taking longer than expected to process. You will be notified if you need to take any action. It has been like that since December 2023, and I have the exact Active Review date, Sept 8th 2023. I actually started the I-130 for my spouse and the receipt date is from April 29th 2023.. Do you have any update from your case?
Nope this is not a good enough explanation. There is no reason for these idiots to take 4 damn years on I-130 applications when all they do is review sign and send to the NVC.
I'am a United States citizen i filed a k1 visa in November of 2023 and it's May ,2024 i have received a message from the USCIS regarding that my case is being reviewed but my wedding wedding date is set for November 25,2024 how heart breaking is this i was told that i had to file the marriage marriage license this month in order to get married on that date and month so what shall i do????????

In how many days should the news of father's death be reported to NVC?
Thanks.
I have a green card application through marriage. I applied 7 months ago. Got a request for the medical exam in August. Sent it back right away. They received the medical exam package and approved my work permit right after that. Now, how long should I expect to get a decision on my case?
Did you apply for 130 and 485 in the same time?
@@mohnewyork1082 No. my i130 was approved in August 2022. I was going to do the consular processing. But I had a family emergency and got an advance parole through DACA. Went out and got back in. Got the stamp and was able to adjust status here. Does that mean I will be called for an interview?
You will get approval in 3 weeks to 1 months
@@igieborsylvestertv5271 that would be great, but how do you know? Was it like that with you?
@@igieborsylvestertv5271 my i485 was approved. It took 9.5 months.

@Moana1110 any changes?
I am a resident and i sponsor my daughter who is a DACA recipient, can she get a green-card here in the US? She had a degree and working.
Active review on my standalone I 130 with foreign national spouse overseas
(Africa). Priority Date May 4, 2023. Active review Sep 8th, 2023. Processing time was 3 months left, then bounced up to 7 months on Oct 4, 2023 then went back down to 6 months on Oct 5, then now 4 months on Oct 7, 2023. Just weird.

I have the same problem
Same here
Any changes?
@@rellics7891 Nope.
Having the same problem, but now the estimated times says:
Your case is taking longer than expected to process. You will be notified if you need to take any action.
It has been like that since December 2023, and I have the exact Active Review date, Sept 8th 2023. I actually started the I-130 for my spouse and the receipt date is from April 29th 2023..
Do you have any update from your case?
Its been 1 year my case is in actively reviewed 😢
may i ask if you are waiting for I130 or I1485 or both ?
Its for I130
Mine I-130 on green card has been actively reviewed for 2 years now
@@zeeshanismail7508 oh really 😢
My I-130 from 2018 why taking so long.
