Sadly, that’ll never happen.
Firstly, they say parole encourages good behavior in prison. Without the hope of possibly being released, inmates tend to be extra violent.
Secondly, they offer parole to avoid overcrowding in prisons.
It sucks, but yeah, that is why parole is part of our justice system. A bullet, a piece of rope, the electric chair, or a gassing/injection would solve both the above dilemmas. We have diminished the value of human life and wellbeing, so violent crimes are thus “rewarded” with lifetime healthcare, free meals, and warm beds.
Thanks to the ultra liberals who believe those violent offenders 'deserve' a second chance and capital punishment is cruel however they sanction murder of innocent babies via abortion. God Himself instituted the death penalty for murder; Genesis 9:6.

anybody who attempts to take a life with the full intent of killing that person or anyone plotting to commit murder with the full intent of carrying it out should also get the death penalty. Doesn't matter if you didn't get away with it it doesn't let you off of the hook. If you are a murderer at heart, you are a murderer.

first degree murder and he's given 60 years in prison and available to be released in 2023. It sure doesn't look like 1962 when he committed the crime. In an odd twist, the police investigation did a pretty decent job for a change but the Justice system once again failed miserably.
According to the Unsolved Mysteries wiki, he is dead now, but I have not found a Find-A-Grave page or obituary page on him.

some women are just fooled by a flashy car and money and get sucked in because they don't use their brains....that evil bastard should have been castrated then executed for killing her...The Marie Celeste....Perhaps the most convincing theory relates to the ship's cargo of industrial alcohol. Whether due to turbulence or porous barrels, noxious alcoholic fumes may have escaped, either causing a small explosion or making the crew think an explosion was imminent. Briggs may have then given the order to temporarily abandon ship, with everyone piling into the lifeboat to sail behind the Mary Celeste until the danger had passed. The rope attaching the boat to the ship may have then come undone, leaving them to bob uselessly as the empty Mary Celeste sailed away, abandoning them to the awful immensity of the sea....that city slicker...was brainless about the countryside...and a drug trafficker..who ran and they believed the asshole...and sucked all the neighbours in....how pathetic that he only got 7 years and now back out dealing again...just shows how pathetic the justice system is...bet he is living the high life on his drug money still....so sad when kids get separated when adopted....why are convicts details never shared so would be employers know about them...he should be castrated and his dick cut off then get butt fucked in gaol every day..that means the bastard is out again free......shit justice system....rapist have no respect for their victims they should get the same done to them...castrated and never allowed free again...glad he was executed and the family burnt all his property to the ground....how sad someone dumped the baby in her car....
too bad all the murdered cases don't end up the way Dale Eaton's did, with him getting the death sentence. probably around 4% that got what they deserve while perhaps 15% get life with no possibility of parole and the rest eventually are released. I hope they investigated the guys place from top to bottom before burning it to the ground for clues to other victims that there might have been.
