Hey Mike, I just had a brainstorm of an idea. Why don’t you do Podcasts on the subject of mowing grass? You might be surprised how successful I think you would be only because there’s a lot of people that watch your videos. You should do a podcast.
You should seriously consider starting a podcast based solely on mowing lines. Anything else that comes up about that subject you might be amazed on how successful you would be I really think you should think seriously think about it and give it a shot. You won’t know until you try what do you think
Looks like a mower, sounds like a mower, cuts like a mower...When my 2018 Toro 22 in. push bites the dust, I could see going electric. By then, they should hopefully be a lot less expensive. About to go electric and call it on my Toro gas trimmer, not because it's not a beast, but because it is getting heavier every year I get older 😅
Very true. Electric mowers are also loud because of the sound from the blade, like an airplane propeller. Even if the motor made no sound at all, there's no way to silence the blade. They are a bit quieter than gas though.
fantastic videos, I still can't justify the price vs a regular gas troy 21 inch mower with self propel and significantly cheaper. Could you do like a comparison of a gas one and the electric in tall grass?
Well, the attraction here is that it has the power of gas without having to go get gas. Might be worth the money just for that convenience. As for a comparison, whether it's electric or gas, they come in different power levels so it would be hard to pick 2 to directly compare. This 80 volt would have to compare with a strong gas mower.
Well, being a push mower, it has always lasted longer than I have, so I don't know. But I'm pretty sure you could get an hour, maybe more. Some day when I have some extra energy I will set a timer and find out. Hope this helps. Basically my answer is, "A really long time." :)

I'm in the middle of a snow storm and getting a foot of snow and your in the sun mowing, so jealous.
Ha, sorry about that. Hope for your summer to be nice. :)
Very unique.

35 more volts and you can run your electric mower! 😃👍

I hear ya. I use a light trimmer myself. Same reason!
Can identify.
Maybe it's me, or perhaps the mic on the camera really picks up the sound, but it doesn't seem much quieter than a gas mower when it ramps up.

that is some nice grass. is that your yard?
That's a customer's yard. It grows like crazy there.
How long will it run for?
