  • On the job Demo of the Triade Connections Quick Release spray extensions.
    During this video I use the 12" extension on the spray gun, to spray prime out an office ceiling and walls. I also sprayed the rest of the big garage interior with the same extension.
    In this video I give my honest review of this cool new tool. I don't go into great great detail about every aspect of them because I was on the job site and have to focus on the work, while I share the news of quality tools. (you might not want to watch 25 minutes of me talking either).
    I have used the extensions several times so far and they clean up nicely, they are durable, lightweight, and they work as easy as promised.
    It's definitely nice to be able to switch extension poles from a long pole to a short pole, or to none at all in a matter of seconds.
    My recommendation is to first read and understand the Included Operating Instructions... make sure the threads of the gun and housing are clean before assembling adapters. Use a wrench or crescent wrench to install adapters (as opposed to channel locks) to avoid marring the adapter's hex head fastener.

    • @XCPainter

      Spray movement with these wands is very responsive. I haven't done a weight comparison but the Triade are equal or lighter than standard brands. I will look into it though

    Is it a good idea to setup a fan and have it blowing out the room to keep the spray fallout in check?

    • @XCPainter
      @XCPainter  3 года назад

      That's an option you can do but not totally necessary when wearing protection and everything is covered up.
      Your fan will need a filter or get clogged up with paint, and if you're blowing paint dust outside, it usually lands all over the exterior siding, or walkways, decks or roofs etc, so cover those areas.

    I’m just a DIY’r. Can I switch standard THREADEd extensions, remove etc mid job?? I was under the impression I could not as the Graco is pressurized.
    Some jobs it’s nice to start with an extension but then it gets in the way . Thank you .

    • @XCPainter
      @XCPainter  3 года назад

      Yes you can remove and reattach threaded extension wands, of course when the trigger is not being pulled, the wand won't be pressurized.... however it is much safer to turn the machine off and release the pressure from the system to avoid big risks

    Do you have buy the Adapter and Quick-connect extension pole in order for it to work? Will the Adapter work with extensions which you purchase at home depot or other paint shops? Please place equipment you review in "your" comment section with website connection and connection to product itself. This would make it a lot easier for your viewers to get to and understand what you are talking about. Thanks, I Subscribed.

      Hi there. The Triade Connections poles work with their Adapter only. The adapters and poles are seperate items but definitely can be purchased in combination with the poles for a good price. I will put the link in the comments. Thank you

    I have a bunch of extensions but I don’t understand what the positive aspect of being able to quickly remove an extension, I mean it takes 20 seconds top, how often are y’all changing out extensions?

    • @XCPainter
      @XCPainter  3 года назад

      Yeah it's important to me because typically, I would have to use two wrenches to take off the housing and wand and then re-tighten.
      When spraying new construction interiors, it's nice to be able to work in a closet or hallway and then continue in the next full room without hassles.

      @@XCPainter i simply hand tighten the guard and the extensions

    • @XCPainter
      @XCPainter  3 года назад

      @@lexandersantana8089 that's nice when it works out that way, but often, more than handtight is required. (Especially when the threads aren't brand new and clean.)

    Why do you need to release the air when you add an extension? If the tip guard+ tip is locked in, won’t the paint force the air out anyway?

    • @XCPainter
      @XCPainter  3 года назад +1

      Yep the air pocket will get forced right out... not a big deal but it will shoot air and sputter paint (split second) until it hits solid paint. But it will just spit paint unevenly.... sometimes it wouldn't matter, but many times, it helps to avoid that

      Ohh yes. I see, that makes sense 😎

    • @XCPainter

      Yes, you'll need the adapter set (and poles) just like for any universal gun housing

  • @Richard-ob5zn

    You should place it the show more area "Box" or make sure it does not move down with comments. Most place in area where write description of your work. In box where it says show more. Example, "On the job Demo of the Triade Connections Quick Release spray extensions.
    During this video I use the 12" extension on the spray gun, to spray prime out an office ceiling and walls. I also sprayed the rest of the big garage interior with the same extension." triadeconnections.com/en/However, if you can pin it where it will not get lost by being down in comments you are good! just trying to help. It makes it easier for viewers that's all.

    • @XCPainter
      @XCPainter  4 года назад

      Hi I pinned the address as first comment and it's in the video (not clickable though). I have a few reviews and will place a link when appropriate to the product. I have more to learn but my focused goal is not to be a marketer for each product, just doing what I can.. if I were a marketer yes I could step up those actions.

    • @Richard-ob5zn
      @Richard-ob5zn 4 года назад +1

      It links up to the site. You are not a marketer for products, but you are a professional and people will take your advice seriously. That product will make a lot of people's lives easier and that's what its all about helping each other. It doesn't matter who benefits as long as we all benefit. Your knowledge helps people and that's what matters. Thanks for your reply and your sharing your professional knowledge that the viewers. I have leaned a lot from you. Thank you!!

    • @Richard-ob5zn
      @Richard-ob5zn 4 года назад +1

      The site you placed in comments links up to website. Its not about marketing its about sharing knowledge you posses as professional in the trade. I personally have learned so much form you as a homeowner and greatly appreciate your efforts. Anything you think will help people share it, it will come back to you ten fold. Then you put things in descriptions manufactures trace it back to you and watch how you talk about their product. They then learn how to make things better and will contact you to try it. It goes on from there. If you don't want it you just say so. Help the viewers and go with the flow!! Thanks!!
