Today we enter into a special time within the church year with the season of Advent. And to the Christian, Advent signifies the coming, or the Advent of our Lord and King Jesus Christ!
So, Advent a time of both assessment and acknowledgment. It’s a time to seriously ponder why our heavenly Father sent His only begotten Son Jesus into the world in the first place, and to know why that infant Child, miraculously born of a virgin, born to be King, would one day receive the crown of thorns.
