I found Plini, and Plini helped me find Sithu Aye... Really need more of these artists in this world. This is real music right here.
OOh check out Stephen Taranto's album Permanence, its similar to these guys. Love them so goddam much, they really embraced all a guitar could be.
You need jakub zytecki in your life if you like these guys. Jakub is more spacey/meditative but he's got his own style and sound. He's becoming my fav but of course sithu and I have a unspoken history
Try grapefruit astronaut
Have you ever heard of Cynic? PLINI is a strandberg⁰ guy and so Is Paul Masvidal. If if you get the chance check out their work if you haven't already. I remember I really got into Sithu Aye back in college in 2015. I've discovered a lot of bands and honest music since then. Ethereal and atmospheric sound gates ✨️ are my thing. Cynic and works like Sithu Aye (I read a long time ago its pronounced C2A) really captured my heart, body and spirit.
Gru - Cosmogenesis is just the best album ever created. FACTS. If u guys dont know.
god bless the YT suggestion
+qoofoo i wouldnt of found prog music at all!! Idk what id do without it..
+qoofoo I suggest you this :) Check out the new Watergate - Beginning EP here on youtube!

Awesome - Also check out Jakub Zytecki Wishful Lotus Proof. I discovered because of David Maxim Micic and YT Blown Away!!!!!
pretty cool, thank u ^^
Proud to say this guy was my best friend when he lived in South Africa in the early 2000s
Woow mate this is great 😨
Is it safe there?
Yes

Your picture is cute.
Playful, serious, hard, techy, fast, slow, epic ... and why not amazing!
Sithu Aye, Modern Day Babylon, Gru, Widek, Chon, Cloudkicker, etc. Cutting-edge progressive rock is coming from the world of metal now. Very different from Emerson Lake & Palmer, Genesis, Rush, King Crimson, and other acts of the last generation.
Zachajewia1110 Each one is just one guy, which is super cool.
I know sithu aye, plini, chimp spanner, cloud kicker. Each band has only one person. Totally blows my mind.
Well plini and sithu are there actual names lol but yea you know what I mean
Zachajewia1110 You forget STARSYSTEMS and Ociell
ballandpaddle naaah Chon is math rock
The GOAT mix of Djent and melody
If you wish to make apple pie from scratch, you must first invent the universe.
Yum.
Nice, I love that quote, and that video from Melodysheep. Have you discovered melodysheep (Symphony of Science) yet? They take scientific quotes from the bigger names in the field and combine it with fantastic music. You should check it out, my favorite is "We are all connected"..
kaputmonkey these songs really are fantastic ! My fav one is "The face of Creation" . This song always gives me goosebumps :)
Correct!
kaputmonkey Symphony of Science is great, my faves Quantum World, so catchy and mesmerizing.
First thing I thought of when I read the title
The last track is amazing.
+Shut Up and Drink Totally
I remember seeing the sunrise on the beach a couple months ago and as soon as it broke over the water I started that song. So fucking cool
+Shut Up and Drink Sounds a little bit like god is an astronaut style
+Shut Up and Drink I'm scottish so I didn't need to read your name.
Almost a decade later and still a massive banger, start to finish 🤘
I think the album title is a reference to Carl Sagan's quote "If you want to make an apple pie from scratch, you must first Invent The Universe"
RealMetalGaming just found out it most likely is because of the final track "Pale Blue Dot"

I don’t understand how one hundred thirty seven people can get this on their You Tube feed and dislike it. I discovered Alone On The Moon because they popped up on my RUclips feed. I am grateful.
I have no idea how I got here. I unlocked my phone and this video was open. This is really good.
Your friend opened it on your phone without you noticing. Good friend.
I ACTUALLY DO THAT
I did it from beyond the grave.
@@Asdayasman it's the ghost of youtube recommendations
That's because you are not who you think you are. Somebody just invented a universe exactly like the one you remember but with a version of you that had this video open on their phone.
11:10 under a glass moon :P

The posts here are the most polite and hater free ive come across when it comes to prog influenced music on youtube. That says a lot! People helping other people find similar tastes etc. Its just awesome. Great work Sithu Aye!
Thanks. checked them out. Cool stuff!
check out videos of some of Blind Guardians' performances. youll find 100% love there as well.
cheers, fellow metalhead

awwww online hug my friend!!
@Roberto Sedinho Lol
Came here from Gorevent through random YT recommendations
Totally worth it
omg!!! Between Sithu, Plini, Animals As Leaders, I have spent almost two straight nights on RUclips! Not a second wasted either, I must add. As a guitar player, I have to say I haven't been this inspired to play since hearing Steve Vai for the first time. Sithu, I love this stuff! Thank you for your music which is so inspiring to listen to. And many thanks also to Squidliosis for posting.
Intervals too
Blows my mind how he can create so much emotion from a guitar
This is the most epic shit ever, and it's not just the beer talking
How am I just hearing this for the first time????? WTF.....Thank you @Plini for introducing me to Sithu.
10:17-10:45 Literatly quantized my whole body
exactly what I've been needing in my life
This music inspires wanton disregard for the state and location of my pants. Truly moving.
52 people don't want to invent a universe.
I love how this group can synchronize the awe-inspiring topic of Cosmology with some damn good music and make it fit so well
It's just one dude he's a physics major! :)
I'm proud that he is a genius born from our country :-) :-)
Sithu is Burmese, yeah?
*Sithu is the man when it comes to prog!*
This is one of those amazing albums that tells a whole cohesive story, and you really want to listen to each and every track instead of skipping around. Just absolutely brilliant.
If you want to make an apple pie from scratch, you must first listen to sithu aye.
+Merlijn Toby I see the Carl Sagan reference you made there, I commend you sir.
+Merlijn Toby That's really deep _/\_
Whoa, this almost went right over my head. And then I realized you were quoting Carl Sagan!
Im glad some people get it!
Merlijn Toby If you wanna make apple pie from scratch then you'll have to "Invent" the "Universe" because nothing is really from scratch, the universe provides!
I love reading the comments here, most of you guys are awesome and have such a cool connection with the cosmos.
Saw the Universe 👁️😍🤩God bless Sithu and all the great musicians who are involved in this masterpiece. Blessings. 🙏🕉️
this is beautifully composed, feels like im listening to an upgraded version of Guthrie Govan
Never heard of this before five minutes ago but this has seriously stopped me in my tracks. Absolutely fucking awesome...
IT'S BEEN 3 YEARS. I KEEP COMING BACK TO THIS. CURRENTLY 21 MINUTES IN.
SET COURSE FOR ANDROMEDA IS NEXT.
THIS IS MADNESS
It's almost like a haiku
Came here directly from "Living Mirrors" by Disperse. Perfect batting average so far.
This is my new falling asleep album, not because its boring, but it's so relaxing.
i just downloaded this record from bandcamp!
thanks for being inspired to share your artwork.
can i buy a T-shirt of this icon?
from 3:40 its just insane
love it. Very good composition. And i love the artwork, i'm sure Feynman would like it !
This is excellent... and on LSD it is simply other worldly... thank you for the audio porthole Sithu Aye!
really cool stuff , like Gru and Widek !!
absolutely overwhelmed... made my day! keep it coming, dear Sir!
this is unbelievably amazing. thank you for making music
Listening to this before work. The feeling I get from even the first song gives me so much fucking energy
This is some seriously well thought out and executed album. Applause!
A+ for Feynman diagrams, haven't heard a note of this though
Haha i thought i was the only one who knew it ^^ i was afraid to comment on this cause i thought everyone would have told me about how nerdy i am
Haha true, I am fascinated by mother nature too :) But sometimes I can become very nerdy about physics when I talk to my friends :)
i consistently talk physics in bars so that the coolness of being in a bar washes away my nerdiness (and wits)
Once, I met a guy in a bar who teaches physics. We spent the night talking about particles, black holes, and cosmology. Best night ever :)
And I'm in high school learning about Shakespeare and all that bs... I WISH my teachers were that interesting
It's been a while since I have sat down and listened to an entire album and enjoyed it in it's entirety. Great stuff. Really lightened my day up.
2020, this bring me back a lot of good memories
Wow. Just awesome tracks. Am really digging the great mix here. Please don't ever stop.
I love finding new music. This stuff is wonderful!
Nice melodic riffs and love the optimistic tone! Keep it up guys. I'll definitely be buying more of your stuff soon.
This song brings me alot of memories. When i was a bit younger, i worked out with my brother and we listened to this while we worked out, brings me back to when i worked out with him :)
I LOVE this album and everything that Sithu Aye has to partake in it! Spectacular musician! I still cannot believe my ears!
Holy fuck.
+peenis wanker to the infinity power
How can something be so perfect
This is awesome! It's unlike anything I've ever listened before, but I want more already... The solo on the third song is just amazing and beautiful.
Anything that has a Fenyman diagram has my attention the it was a prog record... (of course) and then my rule was true. It was amazing!!
I love how you guys mix blues-y chords inside of metal sections. It's really cool and unique. And sounds awesome.
This album is a masterpiece... truly an epic feat. Sithu Aye it's a pleasure to have had been on this earth at the same time you were creating music. I know it sounds like I'm gushing but this album is soul thrashing beauty as it's finest and I fucking love it.
This is perfect music for reading, writing, and thinking. Thank you 🙏
I don't know why this song popped on my feed this morning, but God am I glad. This track brings me so much peace.
Took me away to another galaxy this did.Stunning work.
I'm so happy I just discovered this, alot of new music to be experienced!
Like many others, I was directed here after watching a video by someone else. Really glad I was.
PS. I like what you did there with the Feynman diagram.
Just great, makes a great addition to my library. Thanks!
This is amazing. I remember hearing parts of Cassini a while ago and thinking that I should dive deeper into this, but I somehow ended up forgetting all about them. I am really glad I accidentally came across this, because this shit is amazing. The split with Plini is what brought me here and I am very thankful.
just love this. back again for more
This is great find!
Awesome music in all senses.
Just love it.
i'm pretty sure i've heard this atleast 100 times and will continue, awesome song for sure!!
Came across your music today, and I'm absolutely amazed! Thank you for sharing your talent with the world! :)
This guy is my hero today, this album changed my life. thank you for everything you do Sithu

Purchased? From where? I can't find it on Itunes
You can download it for free and choose donate some money. It's all there in the video description.
What did you find wrong with the last second?
Awesome album....a little bit of everything mixed in, love it!
This is a great work, love it.
At around 16:00... one of the most beautiful melodies I've heard so far. Great band!
Im happy that I discovered this band. Absolutely amazing.
This is the best album i've had the pleasure to listen to in light-years
God bless, compositionwise, tonewise....this was mind blowing! A real revelation! Perfect notes hit from start to end with no fillers, no show off guitar performances and no voice to make it lame. Great job!!
Amazing album..how ignorant of me not to find this piece of mouthwatering composition!!
How can 35 people dislike this? D: amazing album!
34 dislikes now, I'm pretty sure that they have mistaken the like button haha
E Joe yeah haha
Simply amazing.
I like where you guys are just enough jazz the power is there and exciting great music
Jeezuz Lawd! This is amazing man!
Great music. Thank you!
That intro took me to a place that you only visit once in a while through the magical mind altering abilities of music. Fuck that was good.
This makes my heart swell!
I do love these time stretchers. This guy works really hard on his music. It is so orchestral. Kinda lets you focus a minute. Well it is helping me a but
this is what I fucking needed ;) thank you C-2-A for making such wonderful piece of art :D
Very well done! Such a good album
What the... After listening to Chon, Animals as Leaders, Intervals, Between the Buried and me and many different band I still get blown away day by day. I feel like an everyday virgin
These are awsome times. Those who say that the music of old times was better are ignorants.
AWESOME!!! thanks so much! :)
I don't even words for this band. Wow! Great stuff.
Robert Harris its not a band...hahaha...
Still slaping in 2020
Awesome work!
Great! I love this album!
