Gaston is a legitimate tool guy. He isn't making stuff up to sound impressive, he shows how much he loves the tools every time he shows them off. Great stuff!
Gaston is your “dealer”. He seems like a top bloke though.
He really is. New shiny tools are like drugs for some people. Me included :)
denoro Like wise. I’d say I’m clean at the moment but a Mafell drill and order of wera screwdriver bits and a couple of screw drivers would prove otherwise
Oh yes. I need a drum sander. "Only" about 1000 euro. I can do the job without it, but you know .. .Boys never grow up, they just have different toys ;)
denoro I just got all my lego down from
My mums loft!!!! Not short of tools or toys!
All my money goes to tools and my weed dealer😂🤦🏽♂️. I’m an addict
We need guys like Gaston in the States. That would be amazing to have a guy come meet us at sites and sell us specialty tools.
We wouldn't have any money left though.
You can get everything online too ... of course u have not the personal touch but the USA is much bigger then NZ
yes, yes, yes, i hate the guys who sell you shit, in auto body you don't have to sell me shit, it's all needed, specialty shit that cost a bundle, and only does 1 effin thing, and cost's a million dollars, like a door skin crimper, WTF, and if you don't use that tool , it looks like crap, and worse , the insurance companies don't take that into concideration, like a paint booth , close to 60 grand , a cheap one, the guns, the compressor, air /water scrubbers, etc, shit i got 1PINT of red paint, it was $187.00 USD, please, i'll stop befor this becomes war and peace
They'd be around, but can be hard to find and fit in.
@@wolfgangselle4307
You can but usually it's a pain in the arse getting it sent.
It's like Amazon Australia, you want some of those axes it won't be on their and if it is it's 1000 plus 500 in shipping and you don't know if customs will pull it, meaning they take it and trash it or charge you extra on top to send it on.
Scott, slightly disappointed that you thought you needed to explain why you have so many tools, infact it’s bordering on sacrilege! As we all know, a man can never have too many tools😃. Keep up the good work and the best from North Wales UK🏴
he or she who dies with the most tools WINS ! :D
The Hultafors Talmeter tapes are the best thing ever created, we use them the world over in the insulation and sheet metal game.
Agree. Like a smartphone compared to other tapemeasures. Here in Sweden the Hultafors Talmeter is a standard tool for smart craftsmen.
Sparky here, that Wera "James Bond" driver is in my pocket at all times! It's my go to tool for quick troubleshooting without having to get my full toolbelt on.
Gaston is the man! He's quite the character & his wares are the stuff dreams are made of. You could never have too many Gaston guest appearances.
Congrats on 100k Scott. You totally deserve it. The amount of dedication you have put into this RUclips thing has paid off. Gaston is a great business man and tool legend. I love that hammer he had. Best wishes bro.
Love a video with Gaston in. It's like a sweet shop on wheels 🤣
Gaston the tool man & 100k subs
Scott Brown Carpentry - Today is a good day.
Congratulations Scott!
Keep the videos coming! From your friends in the USA
Scott this is why I love your channel bro.
You helped Gaston so much with his business and you can see how grateful he is for it.
Glad to see your channel growing like it is. You deserve it.
Wow Scott! You rate high enough to get a free Hikoki nail gun? How cool is that? I look forward to the review. Also, that Gaston is one fabulous character. It's always fun to see him in an episode. Cheers from Seattle.
ya, but it's like the casino, the people getting all the really good comps are the people who lost the most money, lol, i knew when we were aproached at a slot machine by the concierge that we were being upgraded to diamond, missing platinum all together, that we spent way too much
Double cheers! And double from Seattle!
Gaston shouldve shown up in a Santa suit : ) I wish I had a Gaston Claus that came around with a truck full of awesome toys... er, I mean tools. You've convinced me to start building up my hand tool collection Scott. And to go more cordless. I wish you and Parreau (sp?) a great holiday season.
Always enjoy seeing what Gaston has to offer.
Just came across these tools videos and binge watching and flicking between Amazon and google to find the tools. Absolutely great. Reminds me of the snap-on van coming round and showing tools. Bank balance is taking a hit though 😀
100k Subscribers Scott!!! Con-bloody-graduations brother!!!! So stoked for you and so well deserved. Keep being you and stay humble. My Favourite RUclips Channel by far!!!🤙🏼
My country need a Gaston.
I picked up the Wera screwdriver a month ago, a best handy tool for being a technician!
The hultafors talmeter tapes are absolutely phenomenal! You can also replace all the parts (Including the blade) once they wear out.
Gaston is a legend with humor 👊🏽 solid
The Douglas is a nice hammer, I bought one years ago. Once I got my first stiletto I was a changed man. I've now got a 14oz, 10oz, Tibone stilettos and a M4 Martinez. I'm beginning to think I have an addiction!
I just spent to chunk of money with Gaston, such a great guy and really good tools.
Congratulations on 100k RUclips subscribers! Love your videos. Keep up the great work.
This guy is solid, he has Hultafors buckets. I buy from him any day.
Scott,
Hey man, love your vids and yours is definitely one of my favorite channels. The wife and I bought a 70 year old timber home a few years ago. It needs a bit of work and your vids are the source of much learning and inspiration. We will be in Auckland on holiday in March and I will be on the lookout for the van. Congratulations on 100K subscribers ! Cheers to Kameron and Paerau!
Best from Oakland CA
Congrats on 100k Scotty !!! you deserve it! Been watching from the start and will never stop supporting you homie!
I’ve had a similar model Douglas hammer for about 15 years. Absolutely terrific tool.
Mudder1310 question about your Douglas: do the handle hex screws work loose from the vibration? That's the only draw back I have with mine. BTW mine is pushing 14 years / two handles.
I so need a Gaston in my life.
Stubbled across your videos the other day, and now I can't get enough, you do a great job keep it up mate!
A tool guy who delivers. So cool
That was good of hikoki, to showcase their gun with you and give you one. I look forward to your review. I was a bit startled when he said , let me show you my hammer, as the 70's porno music played in the background .lol
I use that same kitchen cabinet stand for holding up under mount range hoods while installing them
Gaston is a true King 👑
@ the 2:00 and 2:27 minute mark inside the round red plastic cylinder with the black label on it is the Thingamajig Scribing Tool.
If you install benchtops, kickboards, skirting boards, architraves and need them to be tight against the surface of an uneven, wavey wall or floor do yourself a favor and get one, it follows the uneven contours and marks them on to the material perfectly.
Scott's drug of choice, tools , "everybody's got a drug dealer on speed dial"
I wonder how many of us have the same "addiction", I know I do
@@llljustcallhimdave yep ...also here...we should have a anonymous tool addicts group ..
@@llljustcallhimdave Although my tool collection is ever-growing, model trains are my drug of 'choice'.
It's more of a disease than a hobby.
for some reason , recently the stats on my phone useage popped up on the screen, and besides my wife, my "dealer"was the person i called most, then the other dealer (guitar store), then my other dealer, then my best friend, WTF
@@juansalinasfaber hello , my name is ronn, and i'm addicted,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,to everything, one day at a time , (what a cult)
Hultafors, it's actually still a proper Swedish tool company and not only a brand in some conglomerates portfolio like bahco currently is.
It's the good stuff, I'm not only being a patriot now - I can recommend their tools only for their quality.
Another great feel good episode for Friday pieday. Gaston, you are the man!
Congrats on the 100k you deserve it 👍 who else has been watching from the start!?
Congratz 100k subs.
100K great job man! Keep up the amazing work. Love your stuff
But having the right tool for the job is magical 👍👍 Scott & Gaston!
The 16Ga is amazing!!❤️❤️
I got one from Hikoki Europe via Hikoki UK In jan 2919..... been using it to blag skirting/baseboards into block work walls here in the UK and it copes perfectly well...... you gonna love it!👍👍
What a huge choice of Builders’ tools available! 😎
You have so many tools because people love you and want to give you stuff. I just noticed that you have 100 thousand subscribers. Good for you
I'm glad I don't run into a guy like, I'd have no money. Congrats on the 100k subs!
I'm in love with that hammer...
We need people like Gaston here in the U.K. I’d spend so much money on stuff I’ll never use just because it looks cool. 😂
Gaston, AKA the candyman. Bringing all the latest and new candys!
What a lovely humble wee guy.
Visits from Gaston always seem awesome and expensive
Real talk, I wish there were people like Gaston near me! And if there are I hope to meet them!
I’ve just Liked “when we is Gaston coming to the UK ... WTf , keep away I will be bankrupt 😂
Congrats on the 100k. Keep hitting us with the awesome vids! Razersaw is awesome! Love seeing you include the whole "crew". Chef, Kam, Gaston
100k subs! Congrats Scott. Really enjoying your videos and the the different jobs you guys do.
Need a Gaston in the uk
Best regards to Gaston from 🇬🇧
Love to see the Gaston tools.
Gaston Come to Chile, there is a great market, and we pay a high price for the tools, I don't know why. Thanks Scott for sharing all this. Gaston sounds like Spanish or Latin American
Congrats on 100k Subs brother Scott :]
I got the wera screwdriver. So useful. Love it to bits
Is always good to see relationships grow with out any intrest or envy but respect for the trade and friendship.
Thank god, I was going into Scott brown withdrawals.
Congrats on 100k, free nail gun too, NICE. Wera screw drivers are some of my favorite. Gaston a cool dude.
100k! Amazing work, congratulation! :)
100000 Подписчиков - Поздравляю!!! Огонь контент - каждый ролик смотрю с удовольствием!!!
Congrats on the 100k subscribers dude, good to see Kiwi RUclipsrs doing great
Ive benn looking at the douglas framer for 7 months. It looks amazing
Peter Patten the Douglas hammer is awesome but you have to keep a hex key near because the vibration will work the nuts loose.
Roy Alvarez put locktite or super glue on the threads
River Builder 👍🍻
Such a solid guy, Gaston. Have a great new year!!
I can personally vouch for the blue Tove bars. I have three different sizes....Amazing quality. Really light. Really strong. Perfect angles. Made in Sweden. They'll last you a lifetime but beware, guys love to quietly walk off site with them.
congratulations on 100k 🥳
I need a tool guy like Gaston in New Orleans .
He seems like a legend!
We need a Gaston tool guy in Scotland!😎
Gaston is the man!!
I have bought tools in the UK after a Gaston video visit...
Gaston seems like such a lovely dude
I swear Id buy anything Gaston handed me. The man called hand me my own shirt and I will buy it.
Ga-day Scott from Northern Ireland.
My boss ha a 16g Hikoki which I love especially the quick release for removing jammed nails. But its box also clicks onto my makita rip saw box which you probably know. Love the show an keep up the good work 👍🏻
bought my dad a v nice swedish hand forged hultafors felling axe.. had no clue they made so many cool things!
Easily one of your best videos yet.
Gaston is the reason you have so many! 😁
When’s Gaston coming to the UK? 🏴
I second that
The poor guy drives all over NZ give him a break.
Nooo.... So few good quality tool vendors in NZ. Most of the tool stores here just sell the big names for the main tools and low grade crap for everything else.
You should make Gaston a tool display system for his truck in exchange for a big fat store credit.
Congrats on 100k subscribers
Nice to see Swedish tools.
love Gaston, would love a guy coming to site like that although actually, no would be bankrupt in a very short time. good on you featuring him. enjoyed a few of your videos but this seals it, take my sub
What a great guy, I'd be broke if he was in my area with all that great kit.
I love Wera screw drivers & use a slightly different design all the time.
Scott I have two of the original Douglas hammers both things of beauty ... I've never used them have a Martinez that I use ... I'm glad his truck doesn't visit me I'd be bankrupt
@ScottBrownCarpentry congrats to 100 k man ! looking forward to see more awesome videos :)
Come on Scott, you didn't tell us what you bought ...
Yea spill Scott!
Seen this come up on my screen and it reminded me why I have no tools left after the last separation.... Or house.
Love that van
i love how gaston has his car setup like a handymans candyshop
Bought the Wera Kraftwerk Kompakt 20 set because Gaston showed it in the video. Needed that kind of tool and specific bits in my EDC, which I use often at work. It's a good tool, but have to be careful as this can be a gateway drug for more tools, and it can become expensive
Congrats on 100k!!!!!!
Gaston is a top man
Congratulations on 100k
"Gaston's gonna put his hammer away" I thought that was funny because I have a sick mind
Gaston is a champiion!
I have that Wera multi driver set. It's soo handy. You don't need to carry heaps of screw drivers anymore. The only issue is, it's useless on deep screw holes. (jokes aside)
Congratulation with 100.000 subs! I love to watch your wideo, congratulation from Denmark
