On the other side of that coin people should teach their children to keep their hands to themselves and to never touch, damage, or steal other peoples property. You act like the slap happened in a vacuum. If you kid can not follow those rules than it does not belong out in public where it can break them.

I don't condone what the guy did to the child, but tell the whole story. The boy didn't just touch the emblem, he walked up to it, and broke it. The family says that they knew for many years that the boy would go out of his way to touch almost everything, yet the person handling him felt the need to disregard this fact when they were watching him. I'm sorry, but it's the family's fault. If I have a dog that's known to bite people, and it bites someone, I'm still responsible. It dosn't matter if I'm homeless or not, it's still my responsibility. End of story

Tf. Disabled or not slapping a kid as a grown ass adult is fucking weird. That's not justaifed in any situation. I get his frustration, but even touching a kid as a stranger is mad foul and I would even argue creepy. Instead, he should've educated the parents or his sibling who raised him to be like that. Hitting a child who learns how to act from his PARENTS behavior makes no sense. And sure he's disabled, but it should still be the parents responsibility to refrain him from touching such things. Slapping the kid is abysmal, no stranger has a right to touch a kid period, let alone the nerve to slap one is some odd behavior

Why was a boy with these issues left alone to do this? Seems like parents aren't controlling him and the living conditions are also terrible. I understand he has issues, but the man didn't deserve the unnecessary damage. It was not right for him to slap a kid though. Honestly the parents should do better with their child. I'm sure this would have never happened if the boy didn't touch what didn't belong to him. CPS needs to investigate the living conditions and lack of care for the child.

I had a neighbor that just moved out like two months ago that had an autistic son. He kept messing around with the doorknob on my front door for over a year multiple times a week and it got annoying. One day I was in my kitchen cooking food and saw the door open and the kid opened my door and walked inside my apartment. The mother was outside just watching her son walk inside a neighbors apartment without the neighbors consent. Had asked the mother to please pay more attention to your son. About three months later after the interaction the neighbor moved out.

If I have a dog that's known to bite people, and it bites someone, I'm still responsible. yea, they can literally use all the advantages they have to get out of their situation due to their son with autism, so many doors are open for them, they clearly have no idea what theyre doing, obviously uneducated, but then again, its very well known in mexican culture that disabled people are looked at in a negative way, like burden on society and they dont get help in mexico.

That parent just let the kid do whatever. I bet that kid runs his parents amok 😂. I have an adult autistic nephew who stays with me and i can confirm that shit gets tiring fast. His parents were fucken useless in his upbringing and palmed him off. It seems you cant discipline kids these days as the world has gone soft and overly compassionate. Thats why there's alot more of disrespect towards the elders because of these righteous compassionate numbnuts nowadays

I'm being very objective when I say this. But the parents should teach the kid that not everyone will like having their personal property touched by just anyone. Sure, he never meant any harm and yes I know he is disabled. And yes, the man himself was out of line for smacking him. But at the same time, I think the parents need to let him know that touching anything (0:50 - 0:53), including things that don't belong to him, is not always something he should do. In no way, shape, or form am I defending the man's action for hitting the kid. Far from it - it's an act that was largely unwarranted and uncalled for. However, the kid, regardless of his disability, probably shouldn't approach people just by touching whatever belongs to them. As this scene showed, not everyone will be as understanding or they won't take kindly to people touching their personal property without consent. Or even touching them, for that matter.
As I was saying, I'm doing my best to be objective here.

Two things. If your kid has autism and tends to touch things, you have to manage him better to avoid damaging another’s property. If your property was damaged or touched by a kid with autism, you don’t slap the kid. You talk to the parents and figure things out.

Love youtube deleting my comments saying the kid caused 500 dollars in damage minimum lol. Id take the slap all day long over paying that. Autism doesnt mean kids are not unaware or should be held without accountability. Only issue I see in this video is parents being irresponible and of course the guy hitting the kid that wasnt his. The mom should have been the one to do it. His parents are living in an suv obviously they cant afford to have it fixed. Even though if you cause damage you should pay for it regardless of circumstances.
