Whatever people may say about Riverdale, it will always be home to me. With it’s perfect season 1, and wacky dimension jumping and superhero powers… the people, the relationships, the love…it just touches some parts of my soul, that recently no other show has been able to. 💙🥀 Riverdale will always be my home like Hogwarts. 💙🥀
The feeling it brings me when I hear this is that something is ending, coming to a close. It sounds like the end of a cycle. Moments that happened and will not return. One phase ends and another begins. Like you will never be the same again and the only thing that will remain will be the memories of this phase of life. To me, this theme gets so well the vibe of the end of teenage years.
When you can bring something that deep out of something with a different context just by slowing it down a little the core of its heart is suddenly revealed. And Riverdale might be weird but it has a beautiful, beautiful heart, and as much as it's sometimes "wrong", there's no other series like it. And that means everything. Thank you, that was incredibly moving. And interesting.
Nostalgia hitting me for the 3 seasons. 2nd one is mainly my favourite with all the gang war etc of South side serpents and Red Circle and also key moment of Jughead sacrificing himself.
This actually made me feel the love that I had for riverdale back in the days where it was actually REALLY GOOD.
