Do we want to avoid consuming tempest with windstrike? In your opener you mention that it was a misplay, is it just because you aren't maxamising your maelstrom on the tempest?
Yeah pretty much, if you send tempest with windstrike the max it would consume is 5 MSW stacks. Instead it's beneficial to manually spend with higher stacks
Honestly the Wowhead guide for Priority/Opener is spot on. Elemental blast usage can be different depending on procs/refund with when to use the 2nd charge but if you have any questions fire them to me in discord 👍

Ice strike with the firenova build is purely used for Maelstrom generation as you don't get the Hailstorm buff for frostshock as you've swapped it for Fire Nova.
I notice you don crash lightning before your first lava lash on most pulls, is that intentional? Or is it dependant on the maelstrom you have? Awesome vid btw!
Dwarf is great because it can cleanse most debuffs and you get 2% crit DMG. Orc is a flat stat buff so they both have benefits but I've gone Dwarf as for me it's better suited for M+

Why are you tab targeting on ascendence? what does that do?
It spreads the lightning rod debuff as you spend each global in ascendance windows
Im struggling with the cleave/ big pulls AOE with ascendence. Not fully sure what im doing wrong.

That's what I do but sometimes you get refunds and go over and proc a tempest

You don't proc the buff before the key. Instead make it so the next spender gives you the buff when you use it on the first pack you encounter

should be easy to fix the ascendance wa issue by using 'exact spell id' option instead of 'name' option
I did have a try at that method but it didn't seem to work but I may have done something wrong I'll have to have another look

Thank you! I find if I'm already capped on maelstrom I tend to just LL to spread flameshocks for the Tempest/Pwave combo quicker
