How hard was it to just mix the apples with cinnamon and sugar BEFORE putting it on the pastry to avoid having huge uneven chunks of spice

Using puff pastry (even store bought) you can make a yummy chocolate croissant. Simply place high quality chocolate or chips in the middle going from 1 corner to the other, leave room to seal the edges. Foldover into a triangle and seal with your preferred method. Bake...eat. I can't remember how long to bake for but it can easily be Googled or simply use the temp & timing from a similar pastry above. No matter what you're baking always remember to keep an eye on it towards the last so many minutes of baking as every ovens temps very from one to the next. 😋🍫🥟

I had a group of people over my house and I made a chicken pot pie style roll with the puff pastry and a spinach chicken and cheese it was all vegan my friends raved about them and couldn't stop eating.
CHOCOLATE CHIPS, RASBERRY JAM AND CHEAM CHEESE IN THE(oops) squares!!!! OMG! or cream cheese, brown sugar creamed with butter, cinnamon and walnuts! I've been going crazy since I found the puff pastry at my grocery store!
Have you ever made banana & chocolate crepes? Homemade crepes are difficult for me (yes I admit it) to make so I buy premade in the produce dept at Albertson's. You can make both sweet and savory filled crepes. Omg I love them!

The freezer section of most markets will have a premade dough. I used it all the time when I was starting out just to get used to all the pastry making.

Did you used Nutella?
I've used nutella before and it worked, but it was more 'dry' than chocolate. Would recommend using it with e.g. strawberries or raspberries

These were so sloppy and didnt even make a nice representation. The fillings could have been so much more interesting. Pumpkin with vanilla cream or custard filling. Choc with raspberry jam filling instead of just raspberries is way more flavorable. Instead of powder sugar make a little vanilla drizzle icing. Make boston cream with choc and custard. Sweet Cream cheese filling is great on its own or mixed with any fruit jelly or jam and a little vanilla drizzle or powder sugar on top. You can get way more creative with puff pastry then this.

Too much sugar in first one, too much chocolate in second and messy....that's why my finger's down....
Egg wash is not egg SPILL. An Apple Cranberry Tart shouldn't come with an omelet on top?
Billy belcaro - i know right! So many times it looks like all they have is yolk and they put it on like plaster. Egg wash should be thin and put on sparingly. Your not trying to make scrambled eggs on top of everything.
