It's always fun when the weather holds out. Unfortunately I had to cancel my trip this week to Finlayson Point but going to Samuel De Champlain in a few weeks.
Greetings from Orillia! Thanks for putting such a nice video together in a park that we love and visited three times this summer. And YES, we spent a week in June at campsite 219! I still remember the big trademark rock to the side by the campfire. It's a great site, very private but a slight slope to the back. We also spent a week at both 208 (also private and highly recommended) as well as 237, nice but not so private. I walked the trail you featured around Kettle's Lake a couple of weeks ago during our last trip. We have another 3 day trip to Craigleith next week and our final trip to Sibbald Point in October. Trying to convince my wife to do a couple of nights at Arrowhead in November, as they are one of the parks that remains open after the October closures. I am looking forward to watching all your videos as well as future ones. Good luck with the growth of your channel.....cheers!
I really like your "site seeing" - I wish more people would share some views of the sites in their videos. Seems like Awenda is a lovely park. i tried to get time there this summer but wasn't lucky, so hopefully next summer.
You need to do the 5 month 7am booking usually to get anything but I was lucky with my Grundy Lake because I switch to that from Samual De Champlain less than a week before the trip so you get lucky sometimes with cancelations. One of our first video we did was Fairbank and we walked through the campground and filmed lots of sites. After months on RUclips I redid the video as I thought it was boring. I find showing sites is good but not too many. Have you lost any subscribers since your site changed mainly to camping as it's a very limited market compared to what you were doing. Our channel is pretty small but we do it because we enjoy it. I'm hoping after this year Monika will be able to join me again, we have been having health issues with one of our dogs and we can't take her camping anymore so Monika stays home with her.
Looked like a fun trip. Love the shots in the water. Thanks for sharing.

November I've never camped that late but the weather can be t-shirt weather then you never know
We were at AWENDA Thursday to Sunday as well. Have been going to this park for 25 years. We were in Hawk. Great park.

i think that might be our airstream basecamp ahead of you LOL!!
I never seen one with the door on the back, I thought it was interesting. I don't think you were in front of me for long.
Love this Provincial Park we visited this year in may hiked the Wendat trail and would visit again.
This park to always seems to be more relaxing than other parks. Not sure why but even when it's full it doesn't seem crowded
Nice park, great share!
Danny and Lynn
