I upgraded the bushings because I'm heavier and switched the bearings with Reds. When I was younger I did all the tricks and halfpipe stuff. Harder now for me as I'm much heavier and older. Rides best as a regular board, and I suspect you can do all the tricks as with any board, and use the power when you are up to speed to keep it going.
Just got mine in the mail and took it out to the park. I like the speed increase you get from kicking manually it encourage you to exercise, good for cardio. I suppose they have programmed that into the board to prevent the 250 watt motor from overheating. I'm sure going a constant 15mph would kill them as the motor gets really hot from excessive voltage. So it's definitely getting more than 36 volts for a brief speed kick.
Going to order one of these on payday to add to my collection of 8 e-boards. I love how it looks, hope it preforms good for a low wattage board
