    Tony, I prefer your full 18 hole videos with your explanations and comments. Your on course honesty is what I personally enjoy.

      Thanks I appreciate the input...18 hole vids are difficult because the camera (iohone) battery only lasts about 2 hours so I have to use my ipad for the back 9, difficult to move about on a tripod) and the editing and shot tracer take hours, far longer than to play the round! I will still do some of those though.

    Wow! That was impressive Tony! Really enjoyed watching you play some great golf! 7200 I don’t know how old you are but to shoot 72 from that distance is awesome! Very consistent and no missed shots and always a calm demeanor.😊

      Thanks for the kind words...I'm 8 days away from 70!..(I'm not always this calm when I hit a bad shot lol!)

    Great round Tony. I’ve played Anderson Creek many, many times. A 72 from the tips ain’t easy.

      And certainly not with punched green and a fresh topdressing....but somehow I putted well on that! It was just a good day.....

    Great video Tony like the longer video get to pick up some tips from you.

    • @GeezerTony
      @GeezerTony  4 месяца назад

      But Donald, I cut out most of the tips on this one so it wouldn't be even longer. There will still be plenty of other videos with tips and such, though.

    Hey geezer, man you should’ve pulled the pin on #4, it would’ve fallen! I read somewhere that those sand greens were sometimes covered in motor oil to help thwart erosion, so much so that they were black! Most of them are gone now but some still remain in the mid west.
    I think I prefer the round being split into 2 videos because it allows for more comment and insight into you thoughts about how to play the hole or the next shot. That said you edited this nicely and it was an enjoyable watch. You know every time I get to thinking my short game is getting better I watch one of your videos and realize how much work is left to do! Geezer Tony the King of the UpAndDown and owner of one of the best short games on RUclips!

      You are right...it wasn't even moving fast. One of those rare times the flagstick cost me one...but playing alone I'm not going to take the time.

    Great video and great round of golf Tony. I always enjoy watching you play and how you manage your way around the course. I like to watch videos that are about 30 minutes long, whether it's 9 or 18.
    I have finally found the ball that works best for me - Srixon Q Star Tour with 3 layers. I also got a ball man that sells me slightly used for $8 a dozen!
    Wanted to ask you a question: some teachers of the single plane swing advise setting the driver club head down behind the ball with the toe more level with the heel, and the ball in the middle of the club face.
    From behind it looks like you have the toe up and the ball more toward the shaft at set up. What's your take on this?

    YOUR ACTION IS SO GOOD!!,,,,,,You are a Damn Strong Geezer,,,,,,You hit the ball very soldily,,,,course you know that,,,,,,,,,,,ever thought about getting that putter bent Flatter to match the way you address it???? Don't think you want the Aoki putting look,,,,but maybe you do.......thx!!! steve

    • @GeezerTony
      @GeezerTony  4 месяца назад

      Is the toe sticking up? I already bent it one time (did it myself with a propane torch, lol) to add loft so I can play the ball more back in my putting stance...like a chip!

    • @PARDS2
      @PARDS2 4 месяца назад

      @@GeezerTony Look at this video,,,,,you could use 2-3 degrees more flat if that shaft would take it,,,,,,,BUT,,,,sometimes you stick it out there just for that day. and you may bring it back in toward your body tomorrow,,,,,,hard to know for sure,,,,,,,,,,,tahe your puttting stance and drop a ball from under your right eye,,,,,you will be amazed where it lands,,,,,,,,just don't get the ball/putter inside your eyes.

      @@PARDS2 It would probably mess me up! I've been using it like this for years!...I'd love to try the new PXG Allan putter but the $450 price tag won't let me....has a similar technology to the LAB putter but doesn't look like a fish on a stick.
