In my experience, unless you make an extremely cheesy corridor/hall base, the old school tower bases are the best way to fight demolishers. As long as you make it big enough, it can handle any horde. Like you said in a previous video simplicity is usually better.
Series Idea: Demolition Man. On horde night you go from poi to poi in a neighborhood. You can't leave the poi until it's been sufficiently exploded by demolishers.
I just beat the day 70 horde on my little cabin base I got surrounded with about 500 wooden spikes! I play on PS4 Im building a concrete base on the bigger of the two islands on the central part of Navezgane Damn am I horrified when I look at the day 7000 horde
I love the NEPA base when I first stumbled upon one in an old War of the Walkers game. But then could never find it again after that. My goal every time is to make this base and use it. I even have ideas for upgrading it with turrets and traps and such, so I can REALLY take a horde on. I also like to think NEPA stood for National Emergency Preparedness Agency.
This is how I play on UL. No horde night build base... just pick a poi and secure my fighting position. Take out some stairs, ladders and maybe add a few cheap brick columns for them to beat on and shoot them with stone arrows and molotov's. Outside of a few mods (DF or Rebirth), most horde night never gives you back the ammo and materials to make it worth it. Stone arrows are the cheapest ammo in the game and with the right bow, they don't stand a chance. Plus, because it takes a bit longer to kill them that way, the horde does not spawn as much as the game is not constantly replacing the dead with new enemies.
Man, that was surprisingly sturdy. Building one of these is simple and it can be done step-by-step as the game progress... I'm impressed. G9 and his simple-yet-effective ideas!
You should do a 7 days to die series where you don’t live anywhere or anyplace and you keep moving until you die or get to a safe place to take on a day 7000 horde with no modification
I think "King of the Rubble" should be a new catch phrase for you! That was great. You should have opened creative and gotten more rockets. I really like explosive bolts for big hordes too.
I built a mega base in A19 that was a little bit bigger than NEPA... it was NEVER going to fall. The structure was so well supported that even when they took out pillars on 1 side the floor above it never collapsed. Just never go more than 5 blocks out. But yeah twice the size and 40 blocks down to store all resources and mine. 40 blocks down could have been a bit more deeper but it was nuts! Held up to 950 zombies that showed up on day 110. Would have been interesting to see more days but A20 dropped.
You know you are wasting first aid kits? They don't insta heal you. So you end up stacking first aid and when you get to full health the timer is still going and you waste a lot. I know it's a panic thing of "shit, almost dead!" 😅
ah. pure simple destruction. always a second favorite next to zom slaying. Not going to lie though, this video makes me wish you could have done the same to the library of doom. You know the one im talking about.

There's some clips of the Devs showing off the new a21 Creative Grenades which act just like the gun, but explosive! They took out one of the city skyscraper buildings with it! Would be fun to see Glock screw around with those things when a21 is out, for sure.
Love all these vids and im new to 7dtd and im struggling to understand how tne mods work,i get how to install them individually and using the launcher but no idea how to enable them for gameplay?im seeing 1000s of 7dtd videos and everyones running around on motorbikes choppers sand buggys blasting all these awesome weapons and i cant do shit?...please somebody help😢
Horde every night, but you can start in a fully upgraded base (make it in creative) and you are only allowed to fix it with wooden blocks/doors/hatches/bars. How long can you survive ?
That place is a beast!! Now imagine the same horde, but with several other players to boost the zombie multiplier! That would be a mess. Also... were you wearing armor? I really couldn't tell.

This base did pretty damn good even with a late stage horde. I'd love to see a group collab series holding this place down

That place is pretty OP as a horde base. Well... assuming you have the people and/or resources to clear it out first, of course.
