Just seen it online Pete. That looks bloody handsome, I promise you that I will go there over the next couple of months. Thanks for the recommendation mate, it's on the list!
Hi Gary the cafe/Bistro looked good. I use to have a licenced cafe/ restaurant. We use to have queues on a Sunday morning going out the door down the road for our all English breakfast. It was cheap and well cooked by yours truly sometimes my partner and friend but not very often as she didn't really like doing a lot! Your plate looked a bit empty but egg looked just right as I like it. Bacon and sausage looked good and tomato and seperate beans which is a must. Hate black pudding and tinned tomatoes but you had fresh which is great. I didn't use to do black pudding but I did mushroom which I know is not your thing. My breakfasts were a lot cheaper than that about £3.50/£4.
Very good honest review Gary. If you venture into Wiltshire for full English and are in Calne then I would highly recommend "Infusions". It's a very unique small cafe. Run by a local family. Closed on Sunday and Monday
I really felt you were very accurate in the 7.5 and so honest as always too. It was above average (the sausage was great) but not substantial enough in terms of portion size. However if they could get a new beans supplier and give their customers two sausages it could be one to remember. As always a great review.
Glad to see you are back on the breakfast trail. Love me a fry up !😂 £8.95 is a decent price considering the location but not a big enough portion. Tea looked nice. I think that the black pudding is overcooked , I like it soft in the middle retaining a bit of the red colour. Sausage looked lovely but the beans don't look like Heinz or Branston. All could have been improved with a fried slice. For me it's a 7 out of 10. Another fair review and a worthy addition to this series.
Hi Andrew... I apologise for not delivering you a better breakfast but rest assured, the next one will be an absolute banquet. Thank you my friend. Enjoy your weekend!
Personally, I think the cafe is taking a massive advantage of its location as most of their trade is probably from foreign visitors. I'd score it a 4, and that's before you even took a bite and still stand by it after watching 😅
Gary, here in the USA, at least where I live, it's very difficult to find British Back Bacon. Another thing I've noticed and like about your videos (as well as some other British YTers) is that the restaurants and cafes you review all seem to do an outstanding job of getting the poached eggs perfectly done. (I wish I could say the same about my own 🙂). Here in the northeastern US, when one asks for potatoes w/breakfast, they are generally fried but not deep fried like those in your videos. I also have never been able to find Cumberland sausages like those you show. Another hunger inducing chapter! Well done, as always. Thank you.
I’m so glad you went to “ chippy” back in the late 80s I lived and worked there had family there too . Very happy times ❤ The white hart hotel before it was sold off most of the staff left then .
Afternoon Gary Your in my part of the world, I live down the road in Bicester, it’s a shame you couldn’t of got stuck into some Hook Norton , the breakfast didn’t look all that , but living in the catchment area of clarkson nothing is cheap
Evening Phil. Bicester is lovely. Has a lovely shopping outlet and let me know some recommendations you have and I will get down there. Have you been to Clarkson's farm? Any good? Enjoy your weekend!
Chipping Norton is beautiful, It was in the hotel there (Crown And Cushion) where I proposed to my fiancé and, when she's back in the U.K., we have another night there planned. Glad you enjoyed
Another g8 review Gary, when I lived in Redditch me and my biker mates used to tour around the Cotswolds beautiful part of our Country, eaten in the very place you are reviewing and the home made specials are very good, and excellent value for money, shame about the chipped beans tub they need to pay more attention in future takes the edge off a good meal. Looking forward to more reviews next year hopefully.
Small but quality ingredients by the look of it. Loving the look of the sausage...and black pudding for the win; looks like they have a good supplier. Beans are a meh for me, unless a feature :) Nice to see some decent toast and butter. Buttie time! I think two eggs would have been sweet, but the fact that it had good colur makes up. Not bad value, but not great either. I suppose you take your choice on quality or quantity. I agree on a 7.5 :) Just from the visuals and your comments. Nice one Gary.
Them sausage looked proper and tasty Gary ! You can tell a quality sausage by the look and gkad ut was as ut looked ! Not been up there for yesrs myself ! I like nice quaint places and oldie worldie places like Cotswolds and york ! Cheers again gaz and have a great weekend ! Soon be at 10 k subs ! Before xmas i hope ! 👍🏴

We really do enjoy your videos Gary. Really easy watching. Can I suggest you try our favourite for breakfast .. Cote on Eaton Bridge, Windsor. Fantastic breakfast, well priced, great service and surely one of the best locations to enjoy breakfast along side the Thames. You will not be disappointed.
thanks gary have to sat that was one small breakfazst i would have stuck the egg and bacon in the toast and made some sarnies can not beat a greasy spoon cafe imho should have made the camfaman eat the beans mate they sounded rank i thought that tea looked well weak another enjoyable watch my uncle ted was a butcer wish hw was still alive i would have sent you some of his sausages they was amazing everyone said so be lucky and thanks to the cameraman steve
I agree with your comments, the beans and the sauce they were in looked very thin and reminded me of the catering beans you get in the cheaper low-end cafes. Price wise it was quite reasonable and the seating in general looked very good. A sincere review with a decent score.
Another fascinating review! I used to stop at Chipping Norton for afternoon tea on my way back to the FSC at Moreton-in-Marsh. Lovely place. Wasn't that where Ronnie Barker retired to (Had an antique shop?).
Hi Gary that chipped dish would have probably knocked another couple of marks off for me.. i wouldnt even expect see that in a greasy spoon type caff. Next time youre up in the midlands theres a small chain of pubs you could try.. Parogon group. Its not like any other chain, only 9/10 places around staffordshire and shropshire and all have different menus. I've tried 5 of them and theyve all been brill.
No problem Morgan, don't disagree with you. On second thoughts, I probably should have scored a bit lower. Thanks for the recommendations, I shall take a look!
Yeawww , I was going too stand up for the cafe after reading the comments but not seeing the full review, but in all honesty the “ people where right “ it was a sad plate of food , and a full English should indeed be the full Monty , bless you Gary your so polite in your reviews, you where truly struggling too find something positive too say , a real gentleman indeed , they best charge more and give more or don’t bother , hope you come home too your brethren in the South before you start chanting uncontrollably “ E by Gum Chip Butty , E up lad “ .
I think the Full English Breakfast should be just that. This one was pretty small for a full one. The sausage looked very tasty, but it doesn't compare to those London cafe plates although of course most times mushrooms are added. The Cotswolds are generally catering for a different customer, so bearing that in mind the price was actually not bad at all. Great content, and i see your channel is growing, i hope it continues.
Hi Gary I highly recommend you having a drive to the lovely little historic town of Stamford in Lincolnshire and going to the London Inn! They do an incredible breakfast! All very locally sourced products and ingredients for £10 and you get a very generous portion
My main bugbear with many modern breakfasts is the common addition of the hash brown. They're an absolute travesty perpetuated by people too lazy to do bubble. The Americanisation of British culture is getting worse, and the hash brown is an appalling example of that. A hash brown should automatically disqualify a breakfast from being a full English. 🏴💪
I think they were introduced by the namby pamby brigade as a replacement for fried bread but they failed to realise that they’re just chucked in the deep fat fryer so no better.
Love the Cotswolds Gary and the breakfast looked good, it would suit me as not over faced, but on the menu you could buy a bigger one if you wanted to. Personally, I’m not keen on flavoured sausages on a cooked breakfast, prefer plain and I would have asked for just one slice of toast. Cheers 👍
Sorry Gary, but I would of returned that pot of beans for an un-chipped one, it could of been chipped when putting your beans in, and chipped teeth cost a lot to repair! If I was hungry, I would of been dissapointed with the meal you got, why do these places only give half a tomato? I like breakfasts in twos, so 2 sausages and two eggs, would of been value for money then, and of course your enemy the mushroom/s. Would prefer some fried bread and hash browns rather than toast, but that's me! The Cotswold's is a lovely place to visit, but can't say I would go to that particular establishment! What you said at the end of the vid about other items on the menu being tried, that might change my mind! Another class vid and nearly 6000 already, keep it up sir!
No problem Deadman and I do not disagree with you at all. The Cotswolds is lovely but I think this particular breakfast could have been better. So appreciated, thanks mate.
Something I meant to mention that I've never seen before and thought was really inventive! When you buttered the toast, you pushed the knife into the slice to clean the knife of butter, the times I've put the buttered knife down on the side of the plate to avoid the butter going everywhere, because it never all goes on the toast or bread, and then drops on the floor. Why I've never thought of doing what you did, beggars belief, lol! Inspired sir!🙃
Hi Gary, I've been watching your vlogs with interest. It seems most places resturants and pubs have cut back on their portion sizes since COVID. I no longer go out locally as the food is so expensive and not good quality either.
Great to hear Caroline. I completely agree with you. The cameraman and I were having this discussion a couple of weeks ago, it’s hard to find great bargains with good portions these days but I’m on the hunt!
Surely the chef must of noticed that chip in the beans pot, terrible that. Lovely ingredients but very stingy on the portions, especially for the price. But yet again, as always another quality video 👍👍👍
Another enjoyable review Gary, if that was me I would of asked to of changed the beans with chipped pot, asked to do me another sausage as that was burnt at the end + the tomato was burnt to me as well + not charred! The portion size for that price should of had another sausage, and at least another egg imo! For me that isn't a solid 7 but a 5! This was for an adult not a kids breakfast lol
Exceptional but I’m biased when it comes to breakfast- I do like breakfast and would take place in my top five favourite meals 👌🔥👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Cotswolds is a beautiful area !
@@GaryEats I’d go back, yes and the walks by the canal or river.I remember doing a trip that way. And ironbridge, and blitz village- serving everything from the blitz era, and I mean proper beef dripping chips and fish. Interesting eats there…and fascinating too. Have a great weekend yourself
I think this tasted better than it looked because on first sight didn't look great. Chipped crockery isn't great but hey ho. Not a fan of pork and leek on a breakfast but price wise pretty reasonable. Certainly a 7/10. Another top upload
Don't disagree with you. Presentation not so great but taste was decent. I think they used good produce from the local farms. Thanks Ian, enjoy your weekend!
Gary, it's an illusion! The plate's just to big lol! Mind you the egg did look a bit lonely! If the beans had been on the plate with the toast on the side you may have not said anything?
A mean portion, the egg over done, charred end of sausage and insipped beans. I prefer beans in a pot, 2 runny eggs and of course, mushrooms. Oh, and some marmalade for the buttered toast, to follow. I liked the idea of a pork and leek sausage, and some fried potatoes. I'm fussy, me! I would expect better in Chipping Norton. 5/10
That plate was quite empty, mate! Even though all the produce were very high quality, I would have expected a bit more. It's not enough to fill up a mouse with a hangover. On a bit more serious note, Gary, it's not always about quantity but quality. And in Chipping Norton you will find very high quality produce, it's locally sourced and usually done to perfection. The problem is that since Jeremy Clarkson started farming, it's almost impossible to find a place to park or eat when his farm shop or outdoors restaurant are open. It's a beautiful place and the produce is high quality! Another fantastic review, mate! Please keep up the fabulous work you and the cameraman/ camerawoman is doing. We'll stay in touch, mate! 👌❤️
Hello my friend. Yes, I agree with you on the produce and the portion size. The quality was good but I did find the quantity lacking and have without a shadow of a doubt had better breakfasts elsewhere. Cheers mate, I'll email you soon!
Hi Gary,7/10 soup thin would it have hurt them to give you a few bits of bread and a bit more treacle sauce if all seemed to be a bit chefy a bit unloved.Keep it up,you are doing a great service to many people who are a bit wary of strange places Allan
The free-range egg and location in the Cotswold makes the meal a little more expensive than normal. I think the price is reasonable. The Irish butter just adds to the quality.
Hi there Gary. Another quality video. My mum was a chef, and ,she taught myself and my brother how to cook from a young age. All of my family are from the North East, and the family was very traditional. Anyway, my favourite meal I cook for myself and my partner Sandra, is liver ,bacon, fresh vine toms into a large Yorkshire pud. I also put a small amount of Marmite into the gravy. Obviously, that's personal preference. 😂
Hi Gary , I'm just a little way from Chipping Norton (In Banbury) a nice part of the country, as for the breakfast I think it looks a bit sad and I would be quite disappointed if that was served to me , especially at that price. But I am comparing it to the fry ups I do at home and I do go over the top a bit......
There is a Miller and Carter steak house just as you come into Banbury at the motorway junction or maybe Jaypur Indian, up Parsons Street ,would be great if you did a review in Banbury..@@GaryEats
Ronnie Barker owned an antique shop in Chipping Norton I believe. Not sure whereabouts. Been to "chippy" a few times when I was stationed at nearby RAF Brize Norton.
That looked a very good breakfast except the black pudding looked a little thin to me and it looked like the smallest breakfast you’ve had so far out of the ones I’ve seen.i thought the price was ok as I struggle to get a breakfast, toast and coffee nowadays under £10 except for Wetherspoons of course..great review again
Another good review. One of my bugbears is when sausages are just thrown in a deep fat fryer. It looked more like a stubbed out cigar than a sausage. As others have said a very small looking meal. No excuse for cheap beans.
Gary, I can't say i was over impressed with the food, partly because of my personal breakfast choices ive mentioned.. chipped pots is in excusable as well... i wasn't keen on the bacon either with all the gristle and fat, & as for quantity? Looked like a children's breakfast... 😂 I probably would have had a different breakfast, & you did say what others had ordered looked better... so you're score was probably fair mate, because of the restaurant, service & what you saw while there 👍 Enjoyed the vlog as always mate! Cheers 🍻
No problem Tel, I don't disagree with your assessment at all. I did notice the bacon's fat but I don't mind it however I know it's not to others tastes! Thank you mate, glad you enjoyed!
@@GaryEats Btw the way Gary I now subscribe to your channel mate 👍 Just yourself and 2 others... I really enjoy your content! & I can see the channel growing 👍🙏
I have only just seen this review. There was enough on the plate for me and it was decent quality(perhaps for the beans). I do like to spread butter on toast myself, and like plenty on, but some places give you rock hard packs of butter you cannot spread.
One of my favorite facts about wartime food is that baked beans was deemed so important to moral it was kept off rationing. One thing is the beans, but that did mean importing tomatoes or their byproduct, so, yeah.
@@GaryEats Tomatoes, not a huge variation. Bacon, the stuff that leaks white stuff isn't good. The stuff you can flash fry and doesn't is great. Smoked not Green in my book. Sausages. Now the variation there is huge. If you want German, a good bratwurst or cervelat - wonderful. I don't go a bundle on Italian cooked sausages. But a banger, lots of herbs, like a Linconshire. With a bit of snap when you bite into it. That's different. I don't each much black pudding. What's your view? I like it with visible fat, flashed not done so its burnt in anyway,

I think that the black pudding is overcooked , I like it soft in the middle retaining a bit of the red colour. Sausage looked lovely but the beans don't look like Heinz or Branston. All could have been improved with a fried slice.
For me it's a 7 out of 10. Another fair review and a worthy addition to this series.
can't fault or build on this comment. Gary, you've eaten much better breakfasts.....
Fair enough Chris. You're not wrong, the portion was small and I've had better. In hindsight, would probably knock off a point or so!
Spot on, a cream tea, at £8, in a tea room, Its a big big tourist trap for visitors. Ps we went without.
Agree, too much toast to make up for a small breakfast IMO.
Thank you.
lol they do seems to poach the eggs well Paul 👌
great review lovely place to visit quality food and very clean 10 out of 10
Thank you so much 👍
I’m so glad you went to “ chippy” back in the late 80s I lived and worked there had family there too . Very happy times ❤
The white hart hotel before it was sold off most of the staff left then .
Thank you very much for the information, Jane ❤️
Afternoon Gary
Your in my part of the world, I live down the road in Bicester, it’s a shame you couldn’t of got stuck into some Hook Norton , the breakfast didn’t look all that , but living in the catchment area of clarkson nothing is cheap
Hello the Wanderer. How are you? That's amazing mate, have a good time when you go next. Enjoy your weekend!
Great content, Gary, as always! Thanks for another video. Just catching up with your other videos.
Much appreciated Shane. Hope you're doing well mate, all the best.
@GaryEats cheers mate!
Thank you my friend.
Thanks Steve. Glad you liked and agreed with my review. The sausage didn't look like much but actually tasted quite nice. Thanks for watching!
Looks like a breakfast I would enjoy! I think the price was good! Pleased you have ventured outside London.Would have preferred Cornish butter!
I've got videos in York/Bham if you've missed those Lorna. Thank you for watching and Enjoy your weekend!
Excellent video 🎉
Thank you very much!
Was really good Paul. Didn't think it would be at first but judged too soon. I agree with you mate, love the rustic and natured feel of the two places. Have a great weekend mate, really hope I can get there before Christmas. Enjoy your weekend!
@@GaryEats I'm going to research were some of the best food stalls are this year Gary for Xmas ! Might be a good video for you to consider doing yourself this year ? Be great if you could get out and about and show us the best food stalls this year ! You gotta include our London winterland mate there was some superb food stalls last year ! You tried it before down there mate ? Happy eating gaz ! Respect 👍🏴
I haven't tried it down there Paul but I will have a look. Happy Sunday mate and have a good one!
Never quite sure how a cup of tea costs 20%of the cost of the breakfast.
Excellent and very fair review, as always. Well done Gary.
Thank you my friend.
Gary - a burst frazzled sausage is fantastic ! Lucky man
That looked so great. Good quality and value for money. Nice review
Thanks for watching!
Highly recommend bourton on the water, amazing village in the cotswolds, lots of nice pubs , cafes, etc.. It you try bakery on the water which the shop is called some really nice selection of pastries, breads, cakes and nice coffee and tea 👌👌
Next time! I’ve just done a review in the Cotswolds!
If you ever pop down to Somerset, there is a bistro just outside Wells which does fantastic food. They are called Hartleys Bistro. I`ve never had a bad meal. Great review by the way
Thanks for the tip Helen! Enjoy your weekend!
Breakfast looks lovely - i'm now hungry
Ronnie Barker had an antique shop there
x
It was good but not without faults 👌
Not the place to find a bargain though, I hear!
I will check it out Peter and will try my best to go. Thanks for watching!
thanks gary have to sat that was one small breakfazst i would have stuck the egg and bacon in the toast and made some sarnies can not beat a greasy spoon cafe imho should have made the camfaman eat the beans mate they sounded rank i thought that tea looked well weak another enjoyable watch my uncle ted was a butcer wish hw was still alive i would have sent you some of his sausages they was amazing everyone said so be lucky and thanks to the cameraman steve
Hi Steve. Hope you're well mate, those sausages you described sound amazing. Cheers mate, all the best.
Beans is beans. Toast is toast!😂
Beans are usually beans! haha.
Hello, congratulations...I'm Spanish and I have to tell you that I love how you do it...thank you
Really kind of you to say. Gracias.
I agree with your comments, the beans and the sauce they were in looked very thin and reminded me of the catering beans you get in the cheaper low-end cafes. Price wise it was quite reasonable and the seating in general looked very good.
A sincere review with a decent score.
Thank you.
Agree. A bean is a bean as if to say, but the sauce it what makes it. Looks very watered down
Went there just over a year ago and had a really good ham egg n chips. My husband had the big breakfast. Really good
Fantastic!
Another fascinating review! I used to stop at Chipping Norton for afternoon tea on my way back to the FSC at Moreton-in-Marsh. Lovely place. Wasn't that where Ronnie Barker retired to (Had an antique shop?).
Thank you Andy. It's a wonderful place.
I would have been very disappointed with that breakfast and hungry! I think you were a bit generous with that one Gary x
I probably was looking back. Should have dropped it to 6/6.5! Enjoy your weekend Kathryn!
Another honest and entertaining review. I think the sausage was deep-fried, hence the small 'explosion' at one end.
Thanks Dale!
It's definitely not the best I've ever had, Petrus. Enjoy your weekend!
So kind of you Scarlett and I really appreciate it!
Hi Gary I highly recommend you having a drive to the lovely little historic town of Stamford in Lincolnshire and going to the London Inn! They do an incredible breakfast! All very locally sourced products and ingredients for £10 and you get a very generous portion
Hi Marcus I know Stamford a beautiful town, I will look at for the future thank you 😊
My main bugbear with many modern breakfasts is the common addition of the hash brown. They're an absolute travesty perpetuated by people too lazy to do bubble. The Americanisation of British culture is getting worse, and the hash brown is an appalling example of that. A hash brown should automatically disqualify a breakfast from being a full English. 🏴💪
I like hash browns but I do think they're not part of a full English as well. Enjoy your weekend!
I've said that for years, hash brown on a breakfast is ont a full English
I think they were introduced by the namby pamby brigade as a replacement for fried bread but they failed to realise that they’re just chucked in the deep fat fryer so no better.
Aren’t baked beans American?
@@MrSeymour1308 nope, native Americans used them, but in UK we have specially bred beans that will grow in our climate
It's got a chip in the beans cause it's Chipping Norton of course 😉
Lol!!
Cheers 👍
Good call! Cheers mate.
Haha, thanks Deadman. It's a little trick I picked up a while ago and only a few of you have noticed/commented on it but it's really helpful!
Yes, you are right - noticed it straight away. Thank you so much Andrew!
Yep, as soon as it was put down ...... "What is going on with that baked beans pot". Really poor sign for what might be going on in the kitchen.
Yes Gary , brill review.
Thank you again :)
7.5 I knew it! Chipped crockery a definite let down. Thanks for the video!
Your more than welcome, it didn’t help 👍
Another enjoyable review Gary, if that was me I would of asked to of changed the beans with chipped pot, asked to do me another sausage as that was burnt at the end + the tomato was burnt to me as well + not charred!
The portion size for that price should of had another sausage, and at least another egg imo!
For me that isn't a solid 7 but a 5!
This was for an adult not a kids breakfast lol
Poor attention to detail sending out chipped crockery. It was the first thing I noticed
You can forgive watery beans if everything else is great! Really good price and if you had good staff too Gary that is always a bonus!
Thank you Sheila. All the best!
Exceptional but I’m biased when it comes to breakfast- I do like breakfast and would take place in my top five favourite meals 👌🔥👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Cotswolds is a beautiful area !
It's stunning isn't it? Enjoy your weekend!
I know times are hard but that was a pretty meagre serving Gary. I think your rating was generous.
Fair enough. Thanks for watching nonetheless :)
Wow! I grew up here, they’ve really done the Old Mill up
Great stuff!
Gary, it's an illusion! The plate's just to big lol! Mind you the egg did look a bit lonely! If the beans had been on the plate with the toast on the side you may have not said anything?
Haha, I think the lack of beans on the plate and the toast made it look worse than it was. I think you're right mate.
They should serve it on Wendy house plates
Chipping Norton lived up to it's name with the chipped beans pot! Nasty.
The food aside from the beans looked good.
Best regards from Tassie.
Haha. Good one Anne. Thank you!
I agree with you this was very disappointing
Even at 8.95 an extra egg or a hash brown would have been a fair shout.
I hate hash browns. Never an item for a full English breakfast, save it for a Brunch.
Cheers mate, I'll email you soon!
you know why right? Chippy Council wont let him setup a proper parking lot on HIS land....retards
Hi Gary,7/10 soup thin would it have hurt them to give you a few bits of bread and a bit more treacle sauce if all seemed to be a bit chefy a bit unloved.Keep it up,you are doing a great service to many people who are a bit wary of strange places Allan
Agreed Allan
Hi Gary, love the videos and keep them coming! The white bits in black pudding are barely! The fat is pretty much invisible and blended in.
Thank you George.
The free-range egg and location in the Cotswold makes the meal a little more expensive than normal. I think the price is reasonable. The Irish butter just adds to the quality.
Oh yes. Thanks for watching!
Andrew sounds like perfection lucky Sandra 👌
damn hungry again after watching the vid😁...looks lovely
Great stuff Michael!!
Another great vid small but cheap for a tourist town. Never heard BP termed as creamy, like the marbaling myself.
Thanks mate. I feel it tastes nutty/creamy, only way I can really describe it!
Give me quality than quantity any day! We live in a village not far from ‘Chippy’ and tried a lunch here - it was excellent!
Great to hear!
Haha no problem Joe. Any nice recommendations in Banbury? Cheers mate.
There is a Miller and Carter steak house just as you come into Banbury at the motorway junction or maybe Jaypur Indian, up Parsons Street ,would be great if you did a review in Banbury..@@GaryEats
I will try my best. Cheers mate!
Ronnie Barker owned an antique shop in Chipping Norton I believe. Not sure whereabouts. Been to "chippy" a few times when I was stationed at nearby RAF Brize Norton.
Great to hear. Thanks for watching!
Nice food nice video sticky toffee pudding worth the entrance fee for you Gary so all good
Absolutely. Thank you!
Really appreciated Ian thank you
Ditto, partic re the black pud.
Another good review.
One of my bugbears is when sausages are just thrown in a deep fat fryer. It looked more like a stubbed out cigar than a sausage.
As others have said a very small looking meal.
No excuse for cheap beans.
Thank you Tony!
Gary,
I can't say i was over impressed with the food, partly because of my personal breakfast choices ive mentioned.. chipped pots is in excusable as well... i wasn't keen on the bacon either with all the gristle and fat, & as for quantity? Looked like a children's breakfast... 😂
I probably would have had a different breakfast, & you did say what others had ordered looked better... so you're score was probably fair mate, because of the restaurant, service & what you saw while there 👍
Enjoyed the vlog as always mate!
Wow excellent stuff mate. Cheers, glad myself and the other two are high in your estimations!@@TelThePower
Enjoy your breakfast mate i lived in mortan in marsh you should visit x
Sounds great John!
I have only just seen this review. There was enough on the plate for me and it was decent quality(perhaps for the beans). I do like to spread butter on toast myself, and like plenty on, but some places give you rock hard packs of butter you cannot spread.
Very good observation Allan
Gary, you could have ordered the bigger breakfast. I thought the price was okay from the menu. Great video as always
Yes, there was a bigger option! Thank you very much.
One of my favorite facts about wartime food is that baked beans was deemed so important to moral it was kept off rationing. One thing is the beans, but that did mean importing tomatoes or their byproduct, so, yeah.
Indeed.
The sausage looked good.
The sausage was good. Looks can be deceiving!
I like it with visible fat, flashed not done so its burnt in anyway,
I love black pudding. I would go as far as saying it's one of my favourite's on a full English breakfast!
There's a blackpudding throwingn competition each year. With puddings to eat too.
A program idea.
@@GaryEats
Bloody hell, I need to see that!
Mel bistro is an old mill bistro everything in one it's got the pub and Bistro restaurant ideas for and lunchtime meals lunchtime meals normally start at 12:00
I don't know about the sausages 😕 , do they not have white pudding and maybe mushrooms but good value for the money
I don't like mushrooms so I get them changed for something else but I do love white pudding, not a lot of places do it unfortunately!
