I personally think there are a lot of good chinese school in Malaysia. But probably that uncle's family just english educated. Lot of chinese educated as well depending on area. Some speak chinese as mother tongue, went to chinese school but some just like that uncle and becoming banana (yellow outside white inside). Some people speak chinese dialect at home and speak english with friends. Cant generalize all
@@mikaNmiyu indeed. Especially in the past, there are lot of chinese school back then with that time standard. Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia in the past were very similar in terms of chinese education (before 1965).

Malaysia is defined in 2 parts, west Malaysia incorporating Kl, or Penang etc and east Malaysia, in Borneo incorporating Sabah and Sarawak with south east asia's highest peak located in Sabah. A must try for you guys would be the local fruits and food from the melting pot of multi ethnic cultures. Most people can speak english or chinese dialects including hokkien, hakka, cantonese. But don't be suprised if an Indian or Malay person speaking chinese to you. This is also true in the borneo part of Malaysia. 3 cheers to you guys if you could visit both parts. You are most welcome.
This is a good restaurant that serving real Chinese food. In my place (San francisco) , most American still think Panda Express is Chinese food! Glad you guys introduce authentic Chinese food everywhere in the World. In general, Chinese food here is expensive too, probably we pay USD $50 per head to have an OK dinner in a Chinese restaurant.

I'm watching you dining when I'm having my own meal at the same time. Well, what I'm drinking is called Pearl Soyabean Drink with tapioca balls. In Chinese, it's called Zhen-Zhu-Dou-Nai. The tapioca balls are made in the shape of tear drops artistically. It costs 1.29 + tax(13%) Canadian dollars for a pop can of 320g/315ml. If I choose to buy a can of milk tea, it will costs me the same in that same store. At last but not least, thank you for sharing your experience. I feel so safe that I am traveling Geneva at my desk during the pandemic period.

Some of the favorite must try Malaysian food amongst my Chinese friends will be Malaysian durian, Bak Kut Teh, Nasi Lemak, Teh Tarik, Roti Canai, Hokkien Noodles, Cendol, Curry Laksa, Asam Laksa & many many more. 我刚从马来西亚和新加坡回家,我强烈推荐去马来西亚槟城,那边的通用语言是福建话,华人比较多,在马来西亚是具有代表性的城市,你可以在槟城吃到所有正宗的中国南方小吃,绝对美味。槟城的极乐寺是佛教大寺,值得一去。
马来西亚粉丝这里。马来西亚必去三大州,吉隆坡首都,槟城(历史建筑和独特文化和美食)最后就是我的家乡沙巴州(出名大自然,岛屿和潜水胜地有着上帝的鱼缸之称的sipadan,神山,海鲜很有名又便宜又好吃) ,疫情前中国游客都很喜欢来沙巴。

我也觉得这个大叔不应该呀,大马的华人说华语的水平在中国以外来说应该是最高的了!客家的起源应该是河南,一路南下,广东省也有客家人,比如梅州、云浮、惠州等地,新加坡的国父李光耀祖上就是广东客家人。
国内客家人现在主要在广东省,广东省最多的又在梅州市。

我家亲人就是在美国佛罗里达做高档化的中餐酒店。客人几乎都是高中产老美,菜单价钱昂贵,环境也十分高档,开在富人区。生意天天爆满。没有竞争的。亲人自己是藤校毕业,很了解富人心态。
华人餐馆大部分穷人开,做穷人生意,辛苦,赚钱少。
为什么要折成人民币?如果要折,是不是收入也要折算一下,这样还会贵吗?

朱莉不该用中国小摊的价钱来比较。在中国也有十分昂贵的小笼包。地点,城市,装饰,师傅水准都不同,比较没有意义。反而给人感觉这华人餐馆是顺势水涨船高。殊不知在国外开个有水准的中国餐厅是件多么不容易。雇人就是件头疼的事。

给个小小的建议,可以用拼音 Jian Bing Guo Zi (Chinese crepes) 这样介绍吗?😂 很多中餐直翻译成英文丢掉了食物本身的灵魂😢,用拼音能让外国人知道该食物来自中国,能更好的发扬光大我们中国美食❤
問題,若不翻譯而只用拼音的話,外國人知道這些是什麼食物麽?
@@wai-shinglam4447 bulgogi, sushi, pho, dim sum 这些本身都不是英文啊,久了大家都知道是什么了,而且在description里描述下里边包含了什么,大致怎么烹饪的,就差不多了。

@@maomaochen4531 很多食物大家根本记不住怎么拼怎么念,可是看到菜单时就有印象,能联想是吃过的那个食物
非常赞同!外国人看不懂可以谷歌啊,一些周边的国家输出他们的名词,老外都接受了,有何不可!最近几年都是文化战,咱们中国要坚定自己的文化用自己的语言和方式输出,积少成多!
