The Ragne stuff is amazing. He's also a really nice guy and still drawing. I got a commission from him before the pandemic hit. He also has a story in the upcoming Tales To Enlighten Vol 2 anthology.
Did not expect the Neil Hansen spotlight on Icon Devil but that was fun to see. I'm lucky to have gotten to know Neil a bit and buy some of his original art, including a cover from Whisper. I also have a selection of original art from Icon Devil. He was really pouring a lot of love and energy into those pages.
The 'body guard' creative team also did a mini series for marvel, Phantom The Ghost Who Walks (1995) I recall seeing them on the TV news down here when it was released. crazy times.
i hope at some point you guys do an episode on deadline comics exclusively. there are so many great comics. particularly Sadist! talk about outlaw. great comics
Well I’m feeling good. I collected both Achilles Storm & Bodyguard. Did not know about the McFarlane intro. I will have to check the other 2 issues for any surprises. Makes you wonder how they made it over to the UK which I bought in the ‘90s before eBay began. I have the Chaingang comics too
As far as recommends go of books that often don't get much press... Teen Dog is a great series that doesn't get recognized for its brilliance. Fuzz and Pluck is great. Safari Honeymoon by Jesse Jacobs is another masterpiece.
Picked up both issues of Princess of Sadism after this video. Thanks guys!
Ninja Funnies comic, Faust, Rogue Trooper, and Cerebus come to mind. Thank you for your content, I enjoy it.
I have to dig out my Icon Devil copies. Loved Neil "Spyder" Hansen's work. He also did fill-ins on Punisher, Badger, and even Savage Sword of Conan.

I need to grab the TTE 2 when I'm in LA next month!
hell yeah - thanks for shouting out TTE2... it's coming so SOON! it was a dream come true to work with Ragne!
Look up Zombie Commandos From Hell, an old series Jake Karns started about 20 years ago.

They also had another of their series-- a supers book called "Southern Knights" come out in the states in the early 90s.
Hey your costing me a fortune over here!, sheesh but that J Karns joint is on it's own level, I need to touch it now.
I haven't seen all your videos but have you guys ever read any of Ebon Press's books? Lots of crazy horror stuff that's worth looking into.
Princess of Sadism looks great. Immediately want to check it out.

Guys HELP!!! could you Please tell us what Jason Karns current social media is???
You say he's got new videos!?!
You should try to find Les armées du Conquérant by Jean-Pierrel Dionnet and Jean-Claude Gal, from Métal Hurlant 1977
Not sure the age of Worgard, '97? but I'm seeing a lot of Simon Bisley's Slaine influencing it too.
Love Fukitor! Dude’s amazing.
Picked it up as a kindle version btw. Not as cool as a physical book, but at least you can read it :)
Now I have some stuff to dig for next time I'm in the States!
50 cent bin? Wish my shop had one of those...
