I'm glad you were able to spend a few days in LA, and impressed that you were ready to get back on the bike! That Sullivan Fire Road, Mulholland, Westridge loop is one of my favorite gravel rides (partly because it's the closest gravel to my house and easy to ride to).
Dang I wish I’d known you were staying in the states for awhile, I finally escaped the rains of Washington and we drove thru LA area on the 2nd having made it to AZ. You guys need to get back on the 10 and come this way and enjoy the sun to get away from the rain. Congratulations on the amazing fund raising accomplishment!! You two are for sure truly Legend and I hope someday to be able to join you guys on a ride. Keep inspiring and sharing your positivity ❤
Congratulations on the completion of your ride. Both you and Justin have been an inspiration to me. Both of your daily positive outlooks on your trip were enjoyable to watch. I truly miss opening youtube each morning, so I could see the next episode.
Congrats on your fruitful fundraising, Francis, beautiful to see everyone's support. And I think that 200-grand goal would be beautiful, too, and a solo ride across the nation in winter sounds like the dream for fans and supporters like me. Not a bad thing, not a hassle by any means. Plus, well, it would make for quality vids for winter-weary people to watch. And an aside, as one whose childhood was mostly spent in California on a Sting-Ray, anyone who says any of it sucks for cycling isn't much of a rider, don't pay them no mind.
hope you have some variations on a theme for 2023....over the years all sorts of trips and vlogs, but i thnk you've got yourself a really high bar now, congratulations on this effort and the fantastic channel you've worked so hard to build.

Absolutely delighted that you and Justin made it all the way there but on the other hand, Im really sad that the series is over, Ive been following it from the start like many others and I feel empty now I have nothing to watch in the evenings
The lassies sound well out of puff on the hills , it shows you've just cycled across America towing a trailer and sometimes Justin lol 😂
my favorite trails for mountain biking ... Point Mugu State Park - Sycamore Canyon and then anywhere along PCH from Pt. Mugu to Santa Monica for road cycling

get to the backside of any town in california and you'll get some nice gravelly mountains to ride
get to the front side and you'll be at the beach

really should have made that left turn to Baja though, even with the crazy weather patterns we're having right now it's probably still pretty nice
Check out the east side of LA and do the Mt Wilson Observatory and GMR (Glendora Mt Road) climbs!
If you have a chance, try mt baldy road. Gets quite chilly at the top, there's even a ski resort up there.
Excellent trail to get around on, looks stunning. No hurry back to the North East though Francis. The weather is fine here without you. 🙂 AWESOMNE total on the fundraiser too!!

Here’s just what you’d want to consider right about now. GKG2.0. Pick anew challenge: either ride east or south coast of USA, perhaps a European route of sorts, maybe a west to east or rotation of Australia.
