This is such an incredible song. A classic. It's certainly been owned by Bonnie Raitt... But, we all should be tipping our hats and giving thanks to it's creator and original performer, Mike Reid, who's still sings his song to this day.
Not the phrasing, cadence and subtle lyrics vocal ..... a lot of runs and staggered starts, enunciation preferences that change the feel and flow .... having said all that - A GREAT interpretative performance for sure. I am a big Bonnie Raitt fan so know I am merely citing the differences of the two performers ! GBjj
