I love how u can hear so much emotion. u can hear sadness, heartbreak but he wants happiness for her, anger, desperation. Holy cow that takes talent to put that much emotion in a song. Plus have the vocal ability to make your audience feel what your feeling.

Tara Simon Studios; I’ve never heard of such beautiful vibrato before, I literally felt like I was rolling up and down in a river with his vibrato; It is so magical. I have truly learned how important vibrato is. Right now, I’m practicing and getting pretty good at the fast vibrato Faouzia has, but I also want to practice this style of vibrato, and every speed in between Faouzia and Teddy Swims. Being able to manipulate vibrato adds a whole other dimension to singing. Wow, thanks Tara for teaching us and showing how different singers use different vibratos!

His voice pours from his soul into yours. His voice is perfection. Every singer who has any clue that reacts to him makes the stank face at least once or twice. And that's a good thing. He's also just not somebody you want to critique constantly cuz you don't even want to stop him and there's not a whole lot to critique.

your analogy about his vibrato is perfect..that was the first thing that caught my attention..i head that and i said moses sandals...that vibrato is nasty...i can slow down my vibrato as well but not nearly as good as Teddy...he's an Atlanta Georgia boy who has a back ground in musical theatre as well as a country band and a metal band ..he was on american idol or the voice not sure which recently doing a duet with one of the contenders a autistic (and blind ..i believe) fellow..it was amazing ..he says he wasn't crying in this video but if you listen at the end you can hear him sniffle after he was done singing...someone was definitely cutting onions in the studio..he is such a kind and down to earth soul
