Rather than cleaning my clamps, I use strips of plastic bags with a range of widths between the clamp bar and the glue line on the boards. I use plastic bags that other wise would end up in the garbage - they are free. An alternative would be blue tape, but it is not free.
Cute Video…. Seems Like asvertising … in Europe this Kind of advertising content has to be marked with a Tag during the entire length of the video…. Content makers put an effort hiding brands they are not advertising for… seems correct to me
This is the best and most comprehensive discussion of gluing I’ve seen. It dispels some of those old myths. Thank you.
Excellent information to get in or out of a sticky situation.
Good information, thank you for all your time and effort.
Thank you sir 😊
Great information! Thanks for sharing your knowledge!
Thanks great info!
I love this channel❤❤
Very good and informative video. A question regarding the glue removing solution: how long can you keep that solution, and it will still work?

Apparently, the different Titebond glues have different resulting flexibility and creep aspects. Would have been good to hear more about that here.
I’ve seen people use Garils glue, what’s your take on that ?
All 3 boards are quartersawn!
Titebond lists their Original Glue as an Aliphatic resin not PVA.
I just use Elmers
