The dialogue itself and the quality put in by these voice actors/actresses really shows. It's a huge part of what made me connect with all these characters on such a great level.

1:47 is one of my favourite interactions in anything. The warmth in their voices as they laugh together can make me tear up every time I play it, it sounds so genuine. Greatest game ever made.
One of the details I read about was that the actors had the story revealed as they went along doing the voices, which is why their reactions sound so genuine. I imagine it's the same here when recording these.
This dialgue is what makes the game. period. the character interactions and dialogue are so natural and realistic of actual friends, so much so it feels like you could be there with them right in that very moment. I connected with these characters so much and its all thanks to the writing in this game and the special little bits of interaction the developers put in like this. they didn't have to put this in, but they did. what a fantastic game, unmatched

Shulk Reyn and Fiora’s voices work so well in an authentic setting like this. It feels like they are really talking to each other and they feel alive. I love it
It's moments and little scenes like this ones that transform a great RPG into a stellar RPG. It's not about who can do the best action scenes or has the fanciest graphics, it's how the "calm" moments are handled that let a RPG shine!
Reyn and Riki highlights: With Shulk: Reyn gets insulted being called a sidekick by Riki calling Riki a stupid furry volleyball With Fiora: Gets no compliment for a job well-done and is called a smelly orgula by Riki. Fiora calls them little kids With Dunban: Reyn misquoted with when the going gets going the tough get tough instead when the going gets tough the tough get going, Riki knew somehow the saying was wrong and Dunban flat out saying what was Reyn babbling on about. With Sharla: Reyn misquoted again and says one fell sweep to which Sharla corrects Reyn and says swoop and disses Reyn. Riki tries to diss Reyn too but Sharla saw Riki didn't know what Riki was saying either. With Melia: Melia asks Riki that she may stroke his fur to which Riki happily accepts. Reyn then asks too but Riki makes Reyn pay Riki with biscuits for every stoke prompting Reyn to complain why only Reyn give stuff to Riki.
I like to think the reason why dunban disses reyn so much is because reyn reminds him of when he was young and hot headed too, which probably embarrasses him

Wow, there are so many of these I've never heard, and I've played through the game multiple times! The attention to detail is one reason this game is so amazing.
Can you imagine Reyn clenching his fists during the lines "Stupid furry volleyball... I'm gonna...!" and "When I get my hands on you, I'm gonna...!" before raising his hand as though he's planning on grabbing Riki by the hair? I think the things that'd stop him are Shulk's laughter or Fiora simply glaring at Reyn.

From playing the game, and with some limited understanding of Japanese, I understand that some quotes are slightly different (for example, Riki's reaction to Sharla's little scare about using the gun).
