Samsung TV HDMI ARC not working - simple solution

While testing the Samsung S95D OLED TV, even though I connected HDMI cable to the eARC-supported port, the TV was not detecting the device. If you have the same situation, there is one setting you need to enable for it to work.

Hi.. i have different situation, when cec is on my tv don't see my AVR on HDMI (only sound output in menu seting is visible) and I can't go and see on AVR setup, however i have the sound from tv but only pcm because option passthrough on Samsung tv is greyer and can't chose this option. When I'm put CEC off my tv start see AVR Marantz s70 on HDMI output and then I can change option on my receiver but I don't have sound. My second TV LG CX don't have this problem.

Hi - that's strange - you should toggle ARC options both on the TV and on the AVR and perhaps update system software.
