Zim's basic education was far superior to that od SA. Those kids grew up with th ekowlwdge of how to make a plan. this is still evident in the ZIm citizens (legal and illegal) that came to SA and are doing well for themselves. Zambia has developed tremendously and ex SA farmers who went there are loving it and doing well - our loss and their gain. Endless paperwork rules and regulations in SA business makes small business worthless and a pain in SA. the local govt is overstaffed, incompetent arrogant unhelpful - generally 90% useless and grossly overpaid. Many will fail which means new people will have to be hired to replace them. It should also mean that with the right people in place the workforce could be cut by two thirds!
Hold on here... We need to analyse what growth actually means here? Sure GDP can grow when all that money goes to the top levels of society only.... So maybe the statistics are misleading... Make sure that the average citizens wealth is growing and not just the politically connected people then come back to me with stats (I know morning shots just reporting the story, I'm questioning the writers of the story)
Most Zimbos come into the country using the 90 days visitors visas and use truck drivers to renew them every 3 months. Stop abusing statistics, all those countries are growing from a low base. RSA's 1% in rand terms could equal Zimbabwe's 2500%. Only Nigeria and Egypt can compete with RSA.
You can actually hear that Zimbabweans sound more educated ...mistakenly we could put credit where once some had access to schooling and colonial influence. Not entirely true, Zimbabweans had their own writing stemming from Egyptian hieroglyphics..
Agreed. However, if I look at the work ethic between South Africans and our neighbours, there is a stark contrast. Wow! A new low 😢
South african supplies zim with power
Created a table showing the GDP per capita growth (annual %) comparison between SA and ZIM from 1971 to 2020 which shows the various low growth bases both countries have been
influenced by in certain periods of time.
SA in the 80's with internal conflict and international sanctions and Zuma power from 2009 to Feb 2018. COVID was 2020.
ZIM showed economic resilience in the 70's and 80's despite the war but Mugabe power from 1990 and land seizures from 1999 showed economic collapse.

Zimbabweans are harder working than South Africans.
10 * 0 = 0
And Zim has almost no racism
What's the difference between a tourist and a racist?
About 3 hours.
DISMAL!!!
🤣
🤣 we wuz kangz
Oy vey I give uo
Good, So what Malema has been saying is actually right, let us also expropriate land and distribute it to everyone
Like Mugabe's daughter shared her 27 farms? 😂😂😂
Was his wife also steel land
If South Africa want to do better. Land Reform Mugabe style is the way.
Boere fight like devils. They will win.
Good for Zimbabwe, Black South Africans Should Do The Same.
It's a rainbow nation, inclusion means all colours ..sorry ne.
Agreed. However, if I look at the work ethic between South Africans and our neighbours, there is a stark contrast. The anc and eff have indoctrinated their followers to focus more on blaming others for their problems, than actually trying to be part of a solution. This won't change until the rot is removed at the top.
I came for this comment and it did not disappoint, its almost like you can guess that the 30%ers hot take would be of this.. lets steal the land, an African proverb 😂 truly the world retards
Yes they should run to Zimbabwe, it will solve 90% of the problems.
Hey what growth come be a citizen and see if you keep up with this bullshit.. who are you anyway
Either way after the 2024 elections we are expropriating land without compensating the dutch settlers.
Great. But what will you eat?
Your'e as much a settler as anybody else. The land belonged to the KhoiSan, not the refugees from central Africa.
If my grandparents were born here im not a "Dutch settler" am I? Good luck with the no compensation thing, you can take it up with the banks....
you mean expropriate the graveyards of those that tried.
what a fool. so eager to give up your freedom.
Zimbabwe has no medication at their clinics most of the population does not have electricity that is why they claim to have no loadshedding. Abject poverty everything is falling apart. The scattered nation.
