Racism nearly cost me my life. I was dumped by the paramedics when I had a heart attack(75 yrs old white tannie) after being transported by a skoro-skoro ambulance to the nearest hospital. They left me at the height of a heart attack at the vitals booth and pushed off. I knew I was tickets and cried out for help. The response? Don't be impatient,wait your turn! (So the old white lady wanted preferential treatment?) By God's grace some Drs noticed my distress and saved my life. I reported both the paramedics and the nurse. Probably meant nothing.
Hope our youth are paying attention and watching this circus. That they are equipped to make choices without emotion and favouritism but choices that will ensure economic stability, jobs for all and sound government service for all communities.
