Hi, I’m Chris. I believe your best work comes from sharing the gifts you have that make you, you. When we are part of cultures that encourage us to bring our unique gifts to the table, we can change the world. I hope to inspire others to share their gifts so that we can all feel a deeper sense of belonging.

Speaking of mental health, the pandemic really stressed my finances (not to mention venture folks really depressing my interest in local cafe culture). I have also returned to working at the Bux post-pandemic, so...
Any rate, I was thinking, "man, I really hope he started working on his skate stuff too." A lot of coffee interest can be different than just what customers see while walking into a cafe, and sometimes it's hard to share that when you're busy running a shop.
Any rate, I'm happy to see you moving around to other things on your channel and happy to watch again.

That’s awesome. I love the cassette tape wax! And I agree with you, growing up in our time, it wasn’t anything we could/should/would talk about and I never did. I suffered the damages from it at the tender age of 31. Went to see a therapist to work on it and still working on it, but miles better now. Stay up my friend! More coffee and skate content! 👏🏼🤜🏼🤛🏼

I guess I'm the opposite of that cliché because I used to _unload my feelings_ all the time with friends, and in journals, but got sick of reliving the same negative emotions over and over again (and they did too). It came to a head about three years ago when my best friend of about fourteen years severed ties with me not long after a bad panic attack. From there I think I came to a realization that I don't like seeing the discomfort people visibly experience when I tell them how I actually feel.

Hi. I'm sure that's sent in love, and to some Christians would be comforting. Maybe it touched Chris - I don't know him. Just be aware that for many other people, quoting Bible passages at them might feel dismissive and patronising.
If something inspires kindness in you, I think that's great. And to quote "Black Improv Alliance": 'Don't talk about it: Be about it'.
      All the best.

@@damian_smith I most certainly am about it, and have helped many destructive or outright suicidal people turn their life around, joyfully.
If you went to a doctor with a bowling ball growing out of your neck, and the doctor said everything was going to be just fine, would you say that doctor actually cared about you?
When you care about someone, you give them the truth, as pure and undissolved as can be helpful/handled.
2020 has shown that we all need more faith than a lot of us would have liked to admit.
