It’s a real shame about the wwe games. I used to spend hours on the first 2 smack down games on ps1 and here comes the pain on ps2. There is just no longevity on the modern games now. They just feel like huge commercials for the wwe. And yes the graphics are good but it’s not all about the graphics. It’s the same old crap every year. I got bored of 2k17 after a few times playing it. Here comes the pain is the best wrestling game ever made. I thought I was done with wrestling games full stop but then I discovered fire pro wrestling and was amazed!! Would recommend for any fan of wrestling
I use to be into wwe games for years. Ever since I was a kid I would get every game each year that came out. It was until after high school where I stopped buying them. I stopped buying them because I realized it was the same game just better graphics and more wrestlers and it was getting old. I am most definitely planning on buying this njfpw game. It looks legit and realistic and not a disgrace on wrestling.
Z meister 2099 you can download any character, & since the data is so small it doesn’t take up that much space. So basically you can download any wrestler you want from any promotion as well as any mma fighter you want since they have an mma mode you can play within the game.
Madden is so awesome this year. Closest thing to NFL2K yet. and I stopped playing Madden for years in the past....but I agree...I would love an NFL game with this gameplay and design. It's beautiful.
You sir are amazing! You literally made me not afraid of this game anymore. I bought it a year ago and was very intimidated but after watching this I understand it a bit more. Thank you

Cole Brown This series has been out since 1993 on PC and then ported to SNES. It's gone through a lot of changes from there to PS1 to PS2 to Dreamcast. The Game Boy versions were okay but could have been better.. But this new version looks amazing. Too bad I don't have a gaming pc! I heard there's console versions coming soon..
Gotta add, since this video, the game got a new campaign story chapter that is a direct sequel to Fire Pro Special X on Snes penned by Goichi Suda as well as adding parts and move creation tools. People have been adding custom parts as well as animating new moves. It's glorious.

I always thought it would be neat to be able to do your finisher whenever you want but have it be pretty much impossible to hit early on. Looks like I had a good idea since it's a feature in one of the most celebrated wrestling franchises ever.
2000th like! I used to hear about these games a lot on the ign dream cast forums, so I was excited to see Fire Pro World available today on the PS store. I've been pondering a purchase but after watching a few videos, this one being the deciding factor in my decision to buy. Makes me think 2K19 started regularly causing my PS4 to overheat was a good thing, I unlocked, created or downloaded all characters I was interested in and then some and wad getting bored.
Thanks for this video. I bought FPWW on PS4 when it came out and as I played it I noticed how epic the matches were compared to say WWE2K17 and 18. I did a match between Kenny omega and a created Chris Jericho and I must say it was one of the best matches of wrestling I’ve played since WCW vs NWO on N64. I was beating Jericho at first with Kenny O, then Jericho came back and started landing a ton of moves. Then the chess match began where both me and Jericho started going back and forth with technical moves, pins, etc at one point Jericho was about to beat me I think and I reversed his move with a V-Trigger and beat him. That match got a 99% performance rating. It was great how you explained the programming in FPPW is used to achieve matches. I have most current and past wrestlers from wwe, AEW, NWA etc all holding a belt and my plans are to create a universal championship belt to be fought for by all the different promotions champions. Thanks again and great video
It is a phenomenal Pro Wrestling videogame series. But I just wish we could take matches backstage and fight through the crowd with the Fire Pro wrestlers. Which is something that the Fire Pro Wrestling has never added but would make an awesome addition to the series.

The only thing I really have a problem with the WWE games is how simple and easy they are no matter the difficulty the elimination chamber is the only match I find hard because I’m always in first but I always win 99% of matches because it so simple
Love FPWR and plan to get this. But the one thing that's weird to me is that finisher grapples are never assigned to Square+X, which is the combo for "huge" moves. It just makes more sense to me.
I don't really have room for a PC game on my laptop, I think I'll be content and happy with the PS4 version coming out. I loved FP Returns so this next one should be good. Do you know if the PS4 version will be able to download wrestlers ala Community Creations in WWE 2K?

I hope we can get the federation years on the PS4 version. If it's just going to have only Japanese wrestlers I'm not interested however if you can get all the WWF & WCW wrestlers from the 80's & 90's I'm in on this game for PS4. It's only a month out for the release & not much is known about it. Also in all the videos of matches I notice their are no managers ringside. Can you have a 20 or 30 man battle royal?
I used to love wrestling games but stopped buying them around 2006. While I enjoyed the first few games from Yuke's, I became bored because I felt like I was playing basically the same game year after year. It also didn't help that they'd introduce new animations while retaining the older more basic animations from earlier games. The quality felt inconsistent and detracted from the polish of the game. In the old days it was great because the license changed hands every so often, so you'd see different developers takes on wrestling (gameplay and mechanics), different engines, different approaches to animation and different games across platforms. While one game may have had a more responsive feel and play better in a fighting game sense, another will have nailed the animation/motion capture better and/or have a better sense of weight. It's great to see another option in the form of Fire Pro Wrestling World and how much attention to detail there is. I'll definitely give this one a go, though I will admit, it still isn't my ideal wrestling game. I always wanted to see the fighting genre, but wrestling games in particular evolve in terms of dynamic animation and to introduce some elements of physics simulation. I'd like to see animations for moves change as the wrestlers become tired. I'd like so see animations/collisions look different depending on the distance and angle to the opponent. I'd like to see a similar system to the Euphoria engine that blends physics and animation so that if you throw someone from the top of a cage or through a table, the animation looks different pretty much every time. There are also little things in wrestling games that get very little consideration. For example, the vast majority of wrestling games have a problem with how they deal with moves (particularly vertical suplexes) performed near the ropes. The animation just runs as normal but the characters will sort of slide because of an invisible barrier. It might sound like a small thing, but it really detracts from immersion. Wrestlers don't just perform moves with no regard for their surroundings and as such, it's actually a fairly fundamental flaw inherent to pretty much every wrestling game I can think of. In the WWF games on Mega Drive/SNES, they'd hit the rope which didn't look great but was better than an invisible barrier. While the Fire Pro solution of having them throw the opponent out the ring is probably my favourite yet, it still isn't very convincing. There are two better solutions. For a game aiming for realism, the best solution would be to have the wrestler manoeuvre their opponent away from the ropes or angle the direction of the move away from the ropes. The other solution for a less realistic game would be physics (like Euphoria). I think it would look pretty brutal suplexing someone into the turnbuckles and watching them collapse in a heap on their head, or be suplexed onto the ropes and potentially see them bounce around draped backwards over it. A 3D wrestling game with dynamic animations and physics combined with Fire Pro's game logic would be amazing.
This game is a lifestyle. I've sunk more than 500 hours in and it inspired my whole RUclips channel. It's not easy or intuitive but when it clicks, it CLICKS.
Do you have to download real wrestlers one at a time, or are there packs now? I want to create AEW promotion in the game. I’ve never played FPWW, but I’m convinced on buying now that TEW2020 is a disaster, so far.
But what are the controls like?! Fire Pro on GBA is great, easy to get used to. But I just got fire pro returns on PS3, and it's horrible. I haven't played it loads yet but, from what I've played, I can't win a grapple. Is World easier to get used to and win grapples?
Do you know if they're adding a career/story mode after early access? exhibitions and tournaments are ok but I always enjoyed Premium Xs career the most, where you are wrestling exceedingly difficult fighters and winning championships Edit: answered at 12:30
Jsut bought on sale on ps4 and I love it. It is hard to pick up and play but once you get the ins and outside it's so much fun! I used to play wwe2k games and they got so boring. This I can play non stop no problem.
I was into this game really late, found the one for PlayStation 2 and bought the system again just to play it. Liked it but i have this thing about getting the entire experience, like you character feeling and looking like a champion, WALKING OUT WITH THE BELT!!! Little things like that missing in wrestling games irk the crap outta me. I remember when the wwf games were like that, took them years from then to figure out o hey i should have them wearing the title in an entrance instead of it being some dialog about your the champ and you have no gold was so ever to show
If Fire Pro Universe (Or whatever the fuck they would call the sequel) ever comes out, I have a few suggestions for the game. First of all, they need to COMPLETELY overhaul the online and make it much easier to find a match. Second, add backstage and crowd fighting. Third, make it possible to create a storyline like in Smackdown VS Raw 2011. Fourth, make a season mode. And finally, add match modes like tables, ladders, and chair matches
MY main gripe is that back in FPR, if you put 2 edits from different creators, the game goes to shit because the cpu logic conflicts. Tempted to get FPW, but if this issue exist... modded WWE 2k17 is what I will stay with.
Fixed an audio bug in the original upload, all fine now.

So are there "limits" on to whom can wear a Bear Suit? Can female wrestlers wear them too? Or Just male wrestlers? Thanks :)
12 minutes in and now I'm buying this game and watching A.I. go at it.
So, you can watch the matches then?
Lmao Hogan broke takers neck with that leg drop
This game is a lifestyle. I've sunk more than 500 hours in and it inspired my whole RUclips channel. It's not easy or intuitive but when it clicks, it CLICKS.
Hell yeah!
Have you found the "3D movement" mechanic at all useful?
Is there an option to lower the speed? The action seems fast paced and very arcade like. It would be great to watch simulated matches at a slower pace
Based on the videos you've posted over the weeks I've gone a head pre ordered this. My question is will all the wwe guys be available on ps4 day 1?
Do you have to download real wrestlers one at a time, or are there packs now? I want to create AEW promotion in the game. I’ve never played FPWW, but I’m convinced on buying now that TEW2020 is a disaster, so far.
How is this not on the PlayStation network? I would play nothing but this
coming summer 2018 on PSN
how do you have that red timing indicator at 9:00 ?
Any of this on PS4?
Do you have to mash buttons during the rapid exchange/fighting spirit sequences or is it automated?
Can someone explain to me why does the impacts of moves look like the do so much damage that any 2k games can show you
I need that Shield version of Seth Rolins. Can you share the creator please?
But what are the controls like?! Fire Pro on GBA is great, easy to get used to. But I just got fire pro returns on PS3, and it's horrible. I haven't played it loads yet but, from what I've played, I can't win a grapple. Is World easier to get used to and win grapples?
great review! i went from hating this to giving it another shot and loving it.
Should i have a controller to play this or is it alright to play it with mouse and keyboard?
Do you know if they're adding a career/story mode after early access? exhibitions and tournaments are ok but I always enjoyed Premium Xs career the most, where you are wrestling exceedingly difficult fighters and winning championships
Edit: answered at 12:30
Management of Rings mode coming late January or early February. NJPW story mode coming summer.
Fire Pro Z had a good story mode
The only thing I like more about the ea game sis the creation suite. Hard to see what your choosing from fire pro
How does this compare to WWF No Mercy?
Jsut bought on sale on ps4 and I love it. It is hard to pick up and play but once you get the ins and outside it's so much fun! I used to play wwe2k games and they got so boring. This I can play non stop no problem.
Its coming to PS4 soon. How do i get all the wwe wrestlers past and present?
Could you play this with an arcade fight stick?
I was into this game really late, found the one for PlayStation 2 and bought the system again just to play it. Liked it but i have this thing about getting the entire experience, like you character feeling and looking like a champion, WALKING OUT WITH THE BELT!!! Little things like that missing in wrestling games irk the crap outta me. I remember when the wwf games were like that, took them years from then to figure out o hey i should have them wearing the title in an entrance instead of it being some dialog about your the champ and you have no gold was so ever to show
I'm still having problems downloading wrestlers to the ps4
AKI games are the best. Syn Sophia need to make another wrestling game A.S.A.P. It's long overdue.
Is there any news f this being released on the switch...I really want it .
Can you create referees and can you have an actual standard tag team match WITH TAGS inside a steel cage?
What about the dlc on console ??
Will we be able to play with the wwe characters on the PS4 version?
If Fire Pro Universe (Or whatever the fuck they would call the sequel) ever comes out, I have a few suggestions for the game. First of all, they need to COMPLETELY overhaul the online and make it much easier to find a match. Second, add backstage and crowd fighting. Third, make it possible to create a storyline like in Smackdown VS Raw 2011. Fourth, make a season mode. And finally, add match modes like tables, ladders, and chair matches
Will the price be the same at launch that it is now in EA? Whens the final release date?
I can't find this game do u hv the lick to the game
do you haveto download one at a time from steam workshop or can you download packs like in older FPWs games? Like 80s NWA pack or so for example
Workshop has "collections" and you can choose to "subscribe to all" in each collection.
Does it have farmer burns?
You can get Def Jam Characters in this game. 10/10
MY main gripe is that back in FPR, if you put 2 edits from different creators, the game goes to shit because the cpu logic conflicts. Tempted to get FPW, but if this issue exist... modded WWE 2k17 is what I will stay with.
