These Queens may have green sleeves but their lipstick is rebellious red"

The producers of SIX THE MUSICAL are sincerely disappointed to announce that as a result of the Government’s most recent advice to prevent the spread of COVID-19, all forthcoming seasons including Melbourne, Adelaide and Wellington are now postponed.
The health, safety and well-being of our staff, artists, audiences and our community will always be paramount and the producers are working on reviewing options to reschedule. We sincerely thank the audiences and fans of SIX for their support of the full production team, cast, crew and musicians of the show, and look forward to being able to notify future season dates as soon as possible.
Ticket holders for all future performances will be contacted by your ticketing providers directly with refunds to be organised to the original credit card holder.
There is no need to contact your ticketing provider unless you have been requested to provide further information.

(No hate there so don’t flame me) I love this Parr tho because she comes across as someone who is “quiet” BUT has authority (that’s how she came across to me when she sang “and you’re gonna hear em live, in consort”

This is in heels..
Yup! About an hour and a half straight of pure cardio and dancing whilst singing in heels. A lot of us wouldn’t be able to pull it off heh ^^;

The heels are moulded to their feet, the casts have said they are very comfortable. What is uncomfortable however is singing and dancing for this long in non breathable fabrics!

I mean I have to dance in character shoes for shoes since I was in 4th grade. Heels are not hard bc they have thick ones but doing all this choreo is crazy

IIRC that lyric change was made everywhere - saw the Chicago cast and seem to remember them doing the same. As for why - probably just one of those little tweaks made when the show started spreading outside the UK!

I love how they said the divorced, be headed, died, etc. It was fast and low and super cool, they sound super confident like they are just singing everyday words. I love this song in general. Some day I want to see the actual musical in person.

Okay, but their body language is amazing? I hadn't noticed it anywhere else, but the way they move is all about confidence and swagger. I especially noticed when the first three queens did a movement and then looked over as the other did the movement, they were all in such a powerful stance even though they were just standing. Just amazing.

I LOVE how they sing with their Australian accents. Normally in shows, you don't hear Aussie accents because the shows are American and people are used to hearing them in American accents. But this just makes it sound so good.

I saw the production and it was AMAZING!!!!!!! Anne of Cleeves was hilarious, Jane Seymour (the only one he truly loved) was heartbreaking, Anne Boleyn was sassy AF, Catherine of Aragon was regal, k-Howard was a vocal boss, and Catherine Parr was cool 😎.

I love this cast so much. I was so disappointed when I listened to the Broadway cast. When I first heard this cast, I was blown away and fell I live immediately.
I also love how they didn't try to exactly copy all of the original west end performers. They are still similar, but a little different. I feel the American cast tries to hard to match the look of the cast and skipped over alot of amazingly talented people to get actresses who look like the original west end cast.
This cast is so talented and bit afraid to be a little different

I definitely agree with you that the aussie cast is amazing, but like are we hearing the same American cast?? I love the Broadway actresses, esp Sam Pauly, Andrea Macasaet, and Abby Mueller. That said none of us can tell you which cast to like obviously lol
@@holyshinx6391 this was way back when the only performances available for them were the National bank one and the launch party, which showed none of their talent compared to newer videos and bootlegs, except for Cleeves cause she was amazing always. I love them now that that those two performances are not the only ones I can watch

the tour has restarted in Canberra and I saw it live yesterday. So much better than the video, I think there has been one cast change as well. But wow, as someone who isn't a musical fan, this just blew me away and I loved it.
I believe it’s entirely different cast for the current tour. Also there’s a good chance you saw a Swing as one of them, when I saw it we had 3 Swings.
