I love her take on Don't Lose Your Head. It's more playful and I can see some of the early parts of Howard's in it. If deliberate that is really smart.

As was said by the previous commenter she's a swing (anyone in silver, orange, aqua or iridescent always is). But given I'd love to know who Meg's main Queens are. It's not all that common for a swing to be wearing the chocker.

As much as Gabs and Thao slayed that performance could we maybe get other songs as DLYH is really overplayed and has now been done at west end live 4 times when we could have gotten I Don’t Need Your Love instead which I think is overdue for a west end live performance and I want to say we also need all you wanna do but due to some lyrics I can see why we don’t have that but still why couldn’t they have done IDNYL instead of No Way or DLYH
I agree. Only problem is, IDNYL and AYWD are both very long songs, one with 4 choruses, the other with the remix at the end. I think they choose these songs or get down because they get to perform a few songs
In the show the rest of the queen's spend quite a bit of the IDNYL sat at the back just listening which is why they don't often perform IDNYL or HOS at performances like this
west end live is best for more catchy, 'fun' songs where all the queens are involved so songs like hos and idnyl don't work very well, and aywd is just too long for their time slot
I know all you wanna do and I don’t need your love are longer songs but they can shorten them down they cut out part of no way in both performances of it or they can just focus on the remix version of I don’t need your love which contains more choreography, more upbeat and presents the shows message a lot more and in saying that I don’t need your love is only around 6 minutes (I know still longer then other songs) but since their time slot is only around 10 minutes and they could then finish with SIX could really work and would then be able to continue to be upbeat, in the time frame and not have all the queens sit at the back
DLYH is a little overdone but as others have said it does include the other Queens a lot. And it is probably the song I've seen the actresses make the most obvious style changes to. I would love to see them do IDNYL but it would need to be the middle song and done in its entirety. Its slow start is offputting for a space like this. But it does ramp up well. Or have it transition directly into megasix. But start with only Parr on the stage. It is certainly a different way for them to perform at West End Live.
AYWD is untouchable in my opinion there is far too much going on there that is too sensitive. It works best seeing it in the show for the first time too. The impact of seeing and hearing that it in the dark for the first time is unmatchable. You feel the claustrophobia.
Meh, as usual the new casts doesn’t hold a candle to the og west end cast (let alone the og recording)
This definitely doesn’t make me wanna go watch them.

Is there is reason you decided to post that here? It just isn't a traditional musical which I think is what most are expecting. It's a hybrid of traditional theatre and musical.
