Glad to see you guys like the Coverage Shells. Coverage Shells was an idea that I posted on the Madden 24 Beta Forum last summer. My Coverage Shells Idea was very well received as I was the highest XP Author during the beta. Of course I can't access my old post because the Beta Forum is closed now, however I was able to find the emails that I received from EA Sports. I originally intended Coverage Shells to be used in Madden 25. I guess they are trying it out in College Football 25 first. Please help push the Coverage Shells over to Madden as well. The Coverage Shells will change the way Defense is played!

That is why option teams don't throw the ball much...and their QBs are their best athletes (former two way players in HS) who would normally play WR or Tailback

Really solid breakdown of the news discussed. Like you all, I’m excited to hear more about dynasty mode and curious to hear if the 4 game redshirt feature is in dynasty and if training might be incorporated as well. Keep up the great work!
The 4-game redshirt rule is in RTG, so it *should* be in Dynasty Mode, right? 🧐 Hate to assume, but signs are positive.

The “Madden reskin” phrase came from the haters online. It’s not something EA came up with to tell those creators. They came back and said it wasn’t because of all the people in their comments.
There’s probably some truth in that, but it doesn’t explain why the CFB media would use the phrase as much as they have. Respectfully, I doubt they know or care about any Madden opinions outside of their own. Hopefully M25 is its own game so the ‘reskin’ argument can fade away.

A little disappointed about the lack of focus on RTG this year. Seems like it’ll be just like Face of the Franchise in Madden which was very underwhelming.
It’s tough to gauge it off of the media event, but our concern is that if there aren’t enough scenarios/decision events, it could get repetitive. Hopefully we are surprised when they release full details. Thank you for watching and the comment!
Also wouldn’t you just pre scout the team and their abilities? So seeing it in game action doesn’t matter as much I feel

I’m so stoked for this game! Slight concern is if EA reverts to form and over blows a feature like wear and tear. I think what I’ll do to keep guys fresh, assuming they are of similar rating, is using formation subs to get the backup automatically in the game. I love that roster depth could matter. Glad we have larger rosters to pull it off.

I appreciate the work put into capturing most of the information that has been released. Not sure I agree with all the points mentioned in the video as there appears to be allot of excuses being made by Tommy for EA. An example would be blaming a university for not providing stadium assets. I find that humorous. I wasn't sure if this was a joke or if he was serious.
I am curious as to why there appears to be no questions asked regarding sliders and the ability to turn some features mentioned on or off. I am also not sure why they will not allow you to modify coaches. They have provided what appears to be an advanced system for coaching only to turn around and say well here is the new system but we are not going to allow you to modify a coach for another Team in your own dynasty. I suppose they want to keep from someone making a Revamp mod like what was done for 2014.
Most of the media that was invited to the game showcase appear to be EA fan boys and most of the interviews that I have seen appeared to be very limited in details and more about how everyone loves college football blah blah.
It was a completely serious comment. I'm not saying EA is completely off the hook for it, but the schools do have their own responsibility to provide the proper assets. Only 80 schools sent in assets... aside from Tier 1 schools, which schools do you think EA is going to give the most focus to? Those that provided assets or those that didn't?
That said, for Texas State specifically, they have an alum on the development team. I would think he would have caught that himself... I know I would have if it were Arkansas State.
To echo Tommy's reply, the schools do have to sign off on anything EA puts in the game, so they would bear some responsibility as well. However, I'm of the mindset that EA needs to be proactive in nailing team details. Not every school (or their point of contact, at least) care about details in a video game.
Good questions on sliders, turning modes on/off. Hopefully we hear something on that soon.
The coach editing is likely a side effect of the player lawsuit/NIL issue. In this franchise, EA is likely going to stay away from anything that could attract attention or legal issues.

That’s a good question….unfortunately we haven’t heard anything on Coach Mode yet.
Yeah Rose Gold would have worked better than Platinum if you're going with this system

It'll be interesting to see if they address the Texas State stadium issue or if that is how it appears at launch. There's been some other team details people have found wrong in the trailer(s) since our last show, so EA has lots of work ahead unless they knew of the errors already. Good catch. We think that was because it’s his home state. It’s interesting that it would be so prominent….maybe something to do with the Transfer Portal? Maybe their home state is always among the leaders if they enter?

The reason they are stressing that it's not a Madden reskin is the majority of the college football games playerbase hates Madden... So I for one am glad they clarified that. I don't care if some butthurt Internet troll claims it to be a reskin...that is all great video

What if the kid is a generational talent would yall have a problem if his traits came in at silver or gold? And this may be a once every few years
As I edited the show, I did start to come around to the idea of freshman having some abilities. We might find out on 7/16 what's EA take on this is when we see what 5-star/top incoming QBs like DJ Lagway (UF) and Dylan Raiola (NU) have, for example. It'll be easier to accept/envision young players having abilities once we learn about all of the abilities and what they do. Thank you for watching and the comment!
if you can’t really create or edit in Dynasty mode that is going to be a huge loss because everybody wants to put themselves in the game
