Thanks for all the support! I am thinking about making another video sometime in the future. My top choices are:
    1) Top 30 games in cfb history
    2) The best play of the last 100 cfb seasons
    3) A remake of this video with fan suggested plays
Let me know what y’all want to see, and reply to this with any other ideas!

I like the first two ideas but I would love to see maybe a combination of those two? Best game of the past 100 seasons? I would love to see the top 100 games of all time since 95% of videos that cover that are just games from 2010 onwards but that seems like a lot to ask for. That or either of the first two suggestions are great

I saw the whole play unfold (we were at midfield on the sidelines...getting ready to head to the locker room for some post-game interviews.) I'll never forget this play for as long as I live. I still think that Boise/Oklahoma game is the best football game I've ever seen. Even before the insanity of the ending Boise mounted one of the great comebacks to tie the game, THEN Peterson makes the monster run directly after to give OK back the lead. Then comes all the truly crazy stuff.

Boise State played smash-mouth football with Oklahoma for 59 minutes and 42 seconds. They let OK tie up the game at 1:26 followed IMMEDIATELY by a pick-six at 1:02 to give OK the lead. I had $50 riding on the game - and offered to double the bet at 1:02 with OK leading by 7.
      The other guy said, "No."
He'd seen enough of Boise State to TERRIFY him. The next 62 seconds and overtime were pure Boise State magic. 4th down and 18 at the 50 with 18 seconds on the clock... the hook and lateral - Rabb for 6. Perretta to Schouman in overtime, showing OK what they expected - then throwing the ball. Finally, Ian Johnson cruising for 2 behind Ryan Clady on a Statue of Liberty Play.
Remember, the coach's salary for Oklahoma was more than the entire Boise State University athletic budget for all sports. Oklahoma had more championships than Boise State had years in 1-A ball.
This was David v. Goliath... and Goliath got smoked.

    Most fun memories...
That PERFECT hook and ladder by Boise State...seriously, watch that play and Oklahoma defends it well, but the pitch is perfect and the safety is ONE STEP out of position...and that starts the fairytale finish.
Vince Young SCORES. Probably the most 'I know exactly what is going to happen next' play in national championship games...and STILL USC couldn't stop him.
Auburn's magical year. That Georgia game gets overshadowed by the Iron Bowl kick-6...but both games were spectacular...and to be capped off by legendary plays to finish both off. Lightning strikes twice!
    'I was there' moments:
Ohio State beats Purdue 13-9 on a bit of Krenzel magic. So proud of my Boilermakers in that game. We held the eventual national champion to only 6 points through almost the whole game...and it took a miracle play to beat us. That defense of ours was amazing.
    Advice on the video:
The clock management game for Michigan State vs Michigan should have included the actual play where the clock 'stopped early'...bonus points if you have the Michigan radio call.

I applaud your mammoth effort. Being a Texas fan, I thought it should have had James Street's pass to Randy Peschel on 4th down that led to Texas beating Arkansas in 1969 for the Natty in the Game of the Century, and perhaps Earl Campbell's run around the right end literally knocking a Rice defender 5 yards in the air just before scoring, and maybe "Roll Left" where Texas' quarterback James Brown completed a pass on fourth down and inches from Texas own 28 yard line to Derek Lewis which led to a touchdown to secure Texas' first Big XII championship over #3 Nebraska, but I can't really complain. Good job on this video! That Trinity-Milsaps multiple lateral play is one of my favorites as is the Stanford trombone player getting leveled. And the Rice game tackle from off the sidelines was a touch of class. Enjoyed the whole shebang. The pass from Eddie Phillips to Cotton Speyer that enabled Texas to beat UCLA was a nice inclusion (I was there in the Longhorn Band that day.).

Great video! Thanks. I would add two plays to this list. One is the Alabama onside kick against Clemson in the national championship game (2015, I think). The other play I would add is from the 1973 season national championship game between Alabama and Notre Dame. Notre Dame was backed up inside its 10 late in the game, third down and long, and they called a completely unexpected play to the tight end for the first down. Then they ran out the clock. As an Alabama fan, that play killed me, but I gotta gove them credit for the call and the execution. The only difference in the game was Alabama had a rare extra point miss. There wasn't any pressure; he just hit it to the left somehow. I can still see it in my mind 50 years later. Otherwise, it's a tie game, so ND got a little lucky to win.

It’s crazy the amount of Clemson plays not on here, but namely not a single one from CJ Spiller. He had some of the most amazing runs in CFB history. A lot of these were more “iconic” than anything, which is fine. I already knew what the top 2 were gonna be pretty much based on the fact that they hadn’t been shown yet. “The Play” is always gonna be #1 because it was just so insane. And the Auburn field goal return walk off TD to beat Bama and to go to the Natty is also an absolutely iconic play. Especially considering it was the same year that hail mary vs UGA happened that was shown in this video. They were deemed “the team of destiny” or something like that. And it seemed to be true as they started out destroying FSU. But that FSU team was just incredible, and made the comeback to win.

1976: Missouri 34, Nebraska 24. Shortly after taking a 24-23 lead early in the fourth quarter, Nebraska had the Tigers just where it wanted them - third-and-14 at their own 2. It did not, however, turn out well. Mizzou quarterback Pete Woods faked handoffs to both running backs, stepped back and threw over the middle to slot receiver Joe Stewart, who was open around the Nebraska 35. Stewart took it the rest of the way for a Big Eight-record 98-yard touchdown reception that propelled the Tigers to one of their trademark upsets.

That play and game had even more significance as the loss spurred Nebraska on...to work even harder in the off-season, and give Osborne his first of three National championships in the 1994, 95 and 97 seasons. Great video compilation, though! You did it well for the greatest game on the planet: College Football 😎👍❤🏈🔥🔥🔥

#78 I actually got to see live as our whole family had annual tickets to see the Fiesta Bowl. Perhaps the most heavily hyped game & certainly the most watched. #50 I got to see on TV w/ the fam again; we had come home from somewhere & just turned it on when Belue threw that pass to Scott. Talk about perfect timing.
Oh, I must concur w/ others who commended you on also including much older games. The fact that you included Tommy Lewis' off-the-bench tackle of Dicky Maegle in the 1954 Cotton Bowl early on cemented it for me that this is a classic. If you take into consideration the meaning of some of these games at the time then that's what makes them so huge. That game was flutie versus Kosar and Miami always seemed to beat Boston college until that year. It was so unbelievable to watch. I was sitting in my basement watching it on TV and I actually turned it off just when he was about to throw it because I was already crying that we had lost and lost my mind for a second there. But I turned it right back on just in time to see Phelan catch the ball for the touchdown. I went crazy! One of my fun times growing up.

One of the absolute best and greatest compilation of sports moments that I have ever seen! The work and the thought behind it shows through with all the wonderful plays and announcing throughout! Including older plays makes this stand out; the Lewis tackle from the sidelines is rarely seen (the referees gave a TD on the play although from above it looks like the last defender had an angle on the sideline)! If anything was excluded probably the only play (or plays) that I would have tried to find would be Red Grange’s TDs against Michigan (1927?); Roger Staubach’s long rush TD against Army; any Alabama roll-out jump pass by Joe Namath; and Roy Riegel’s (spelling?) wrong way run in the Rose Bowl (1929?). I have seen all of these famous old plays at one time or another; perhaps they are too obscure for younger viewers! Thanks again!😀🏈❤️

That was all done in the final two and a half minutes of the game against the Pony Express (Craig James and Eric Dickerson) of SMU just prior to the SMU death penalty. That game is my first memory of watching BYU football and went a long way to making me such a fan. This wasn't at a mile high in Boulder, Colorado, either. That was on a muggy day at The Big House. And, in 1994, they were still using the much more rotund and rounder college football. No ONE was throwing a ball 75 yards in 1994. Now? It's very common. Back then? It was something you never even saw attempted.
