- Here is my (mostly) full face of Besame Cosmetics makeup GRWM. I'm sorry the lighting is a bit weird. It was gloomy and rainy outside, and I don't have a great lighting setup. I'm still trying to figure out how to do these types of videos without them being an hour long! Hopefully it's still enjoyable for you to watch!

I found this video to be very interesting! I'm retired, in my seventies and rarely makeup or nail polish anymore but I used to. In fact, when I first started wearing makeup as a teenager in the mid-1960s, I learned to use cake mascara (Maybelline) and cake eyeliner.
What also surprised me about your video is that Besame's store is in Burbank --- a quick freeway drive from my home. I may stop there the next time I'm in that area.
Thank you for telling people the cake mascara takes practice, it’s worth taking the time to play around with it. It took me almost a week of experimenting to get the hang of it but it’s the best eyeliner ever! As for it not being waterproof in my experience it only comes off with warm water, I have bad hay fever but my watery eyes don’t smudge it.

I’m impressed with the look of that stick foundation. It really evens skin tone and has a subtle glow to it. Very pretty. Thanks for sharing your approach with this make-up.

when I was a girl back in 1963 we all used cake mascara, and Maybelline liquid eye liner ( ala Liz Taylor ). I'm sure we over did it but it was so long ago I really don't remember.

LOVE this look and LOVE your style. Would you mind telling how and when you started dressing to fit your personality. Thats hard to word but it's ment as a compliment. I am 100% an old soul or vintage😉 and im totally comfortable decorating my home to fit that but I'm not yet comfortable dressing vintage or know how to dress my body type in vintage clothes. Love it! Does Besame have a true red lipstick that doesn't turn pink or feather? I spend more time swatching red lipsticks on my hand. Oh, and Cash is pretty awesome too.
I would recommend the Red Velvet shade. I have found that as long as I use a lipliner I don’t have any fading or feathering issues. Hehe Johnny Cash says thank you 😊😺

Dear Lacy, do you now how to use the vintage brushes to apply foundation?
What do you use to REMOVE your make up? That is also a problem for me. Is to get ALL of it to come off at the same time. I use to do the whole hair/make up routine back in the day when I was younger and out in the world around me but now I am home bound disabled and only my WONDERFUL Husband sees me and Loves me for who I am not what I look like (LOL Thank God LOL). So now is just a trim with the lady who comes to my house. BUT I still very much enjoy watching those of you who still do. Buying make up and having it and using it always made me sssoooo happy. Now I get my "Happy Fix" from buying fabrics I use to sew with. I always has a problem with keeping lipstick ON all day without having to reapply. Do you have that issue and how do you remedy that issue?
I ABSOLUTELY ADORE your cats. I have cats myself and when I do live sales on Facebook it is inevitable that one or more has to make at LEAST ONE appearance on camera. I look at it this way. They are part of me and part of my family so when you are in my home (in person or virtually) this is me. So if you can't except that then you don't belong here. LOL I have 2 right now helping me write this!!!!!! So don't fret, we except you as you are and that includes, your cats, your husband and your son 😍💜💜😍😻👨👩👦
