Besides world building, Made in Abyss can easily make the category for depression and also take the award for "wolf in sheep's clothing." The anime/manga has completely surprised people where they thought it was going to be a happy, carefree, innocent experience but got the opposite instead. Every arc gets more brutal somehow, and we love and hate to see it.

@@venomff8327 It has moments of action in it, but I wouldn't say it's the primary focus. The first season barely has any real fights or battles in it besides the encounters the main characters make with the creatures they meet during their journey. The movie has a huge fight in it which is to be expected of a big movie, though. The second season does have a lot more action in it, but only because of a new character that gets introduced in it that brings that into the story with their role and motive. It's pretty intense when it does bring in action to say the least, and there's always real suspense/consequences to it.
I'd categorise it as Ghibli Berserk

I do agree with Your Lie in April, my friend recommended me this anime and at first it was like meh since I can't relate with stuffs since I'm not a musician. But then after a few episodes, I realized that the anime is not only about playing instruments, so I continued watching it 1 ep per day and the thing I can say is that it becomes more sad and painful to watch when the episode you're watching is almost near the end.

There's no way Made in Abyss is known most for its "massive world".
Anytime I see people talk about that anime, it's due to the brutality and trauma compared to its cute art style 😭
But the funny thing is that brutality isnt even shown in the anime THAT much, like in season 1 it was quite literally one-two episodes 💀. Made in abyss is definitely loved for its world.

If anything Bleach should be recognized for amazing character designs. I understand the anime has lots of filler, but the canon parts make it so worth it.

I have just watched Made In Abyss like a month ago and this is very true. The scenery and the world building is excellent, it's really huge and the art for the scenery is just chef's kiss.

I would say that the main toxicity in MHA fandom were all those girls obsessed with their ships in the firsts 3 seasons where the anime was more chill and had more teenagers in high school moments, arriving to the levels of Nagito fangirls with Danganronpa.
Same here. I love MHA( it actually pulled me out of a depressive state when I first watched it.), but the toxic parts of the fandom are the foulest people I've ever seen.

I feel like if sao didn't have a bad reputation (I honestly don't understand why it does), it could've been known for having some of the best op's in anime. There's literally no fault in the opening songs and even the ed's are bangers. Some of my favorites were crossing field, adamas, anima, niji no kanatani and resister.
the first half of the first season of SAO was just built different, it was THAT good.
I've yet to finish the first season cause I stopped watching it in the second half because of it getting boring and a bit stranger. I feel like SAO had such a good idea and almost an original one (when it came out), but the writer missed the opportunity of creating one of the most loved shows out there by not keeping up with the OG idea
btw I won't ever bother finishing it cause everybody says s2 is infinite times worse, so there's no point. I still am happy to know that the MC married Asuna and they lived happily togeter (I think? lmao)

I don't know what exactly dropped means , but BLEACH has surely some of the best fillers , like i you ask me , the arcs Zanpaktu Rebellion Arc and New Capt Amagi Arc , i won't count them as fillers , it has a whole separate and compete stories ( which is actually entertaining, and some what touching to me ), although maybe it's my NUMBER ONE so I think that way , but my BLEACH really need appreciation and I think it's very underrated....

Even though I'm not an official Otaku I can concur with the fact that Highschool DxD is and always will be an Otaku's dream -- it is one of the few shows that has an impeccable list of female beauties that are an absolute feast that no man nor woman will ever grow tired of. It was also responsible for my decision to collect manga and DVD's for other shows in the Medium (Anime) that I love.
Tbh I came for the “plot” and stayed for the plot because I liked it so much to the point I’m reading the light novels

Monogatari series really helped me read subtitles extremely fast also i am now more comfortable with Japanese audio and i learned it to some extent that i can understand without looking at subs for every single line

As a Sword art online fan, I would agree that it's one of the biggest isekai with rare concept of real life and isekai at a same time. Sadly people judging this anime for it's hate without watching it. I would recommend everyone to try atleast once then it's up to you.
