As i said, i do enjoy playing settlers 3, Also age of empires 2. They where developed more then 10years ago. Crusader kings 2 for example aint being played for its ultra high graphic. Its the game mimic that draw people to it.
Only 4M people play BF but surely more than 26 millions of people had played CS during their high times! Great graphics also made the production so costly & there always other who looks much better, but gameplay ? this is 2013, yet few can create new revolutionary gameplay & genre like in the past, like how Dune set the tone for RTS or how Wolfenstein set the tone for FPS or how Mario Bros set the tone for adventure games! Thats why Jaguar, Atari 5200.N64,3DO,CD-I failed big times in the past
WC2 + Starcraft + Dune 2+ C&C + AoE2 made their greatest success with their superiority in RTS gameplay not by superiority in graphics! They don't boast the best & greatest graphic but they surely boast the user friendly GUI + how most PC can play the games with great setting! Good graphics only made it looks good but great gameplay will made U want to play it forever & feel bored much later, DoTA is one of the example, U don't need superb graphic like Crysis to made very successful games
I mean graphics like C&C Generals or RTW are awesome for any strategy games. I played new Total War and C&C games and I all they do is focus on the graphics, most people pc's cant handle those and they lose fans. Strategy games are about strategy not how good does the hair on one of your soldiers looks.
No matter how good the graphics, the real always win big times! Yet its the gameplay that becoming the real backbone of any great games! Without great gameplay, CoD or BF or Doom or GTA or Total War or FF would be able to attain their most success! Graphics means nothing at all when the games is so boring & pathetic & bugfest laden too while great gameplay means fewer bugs & great replay value & great fun that surely made the game last longer & attract more people to play, like Counter strike
oh cmon who needs graphics anyway...although i have games with good graphics, but even now i am still playing quake 2 or ultima underworld, because these games are good. Sometimes i turn on playstation 1 because of some epic games...
To play games with great graphics, U will always need to constantly update your PC specs, so also add more cost to gamers too, while to play games with great gameplay ? U not always needed to update your PC! If WoW or CS or AoE2 had graphics like GTA5 or Crysis, surely few people would be able to play that games thus limiting the gamers! Great graphics alone is totally useless but great gameplay alone is still enough to made it success, today, there are many people who still playing Pong too
Why does this game look like it has a PoS gameplay? Around half the video tanks are coming torwards something... they dont fire, get obliterated. Turned off at that moment, time to forget about this product.
problem is not graphics...problem is that isn't a startegy game...who spams more tanks wins...no terrain qualities, too simplified unit stats, simplistic mechanics, simplistic buildings, age of empires is better ahahha

Looking really good, my one critique so far is the soldiers move far too quickly for their animation, looks very odd.

i like it, this game is similar to fronline attack: war over europe, maybe this one is the evolution, yeahhh stay classic! nice

Most of PC gamers play strategy games and most of them dont have powerful machines. In my opinion graphics are not important at all in strategy games.
Warcraft 1 is a bad game in general, but i can still enjoy Settlers 3 from time to time. Graphics isnt needed if ur not a spoiled kid
