Awesome song. I never expected parkour could go so well with At The Drive-in, but that was freakin' awesome. Great spots, energy and enthusiasm. Totally 5 *
I trained in some of the places in this video today. Was weird went to somewhere with some friends and I saw some of the spots there which I had recognized from your video, and was pretty fun training there.
The editing in this is excellent. I like what you did with the camera movements with the music - I always mean to do something like that but I never have the patience.
I love it, you dont keep on with the steriotype moves of "normal parkour" you climb the fastest way even sometimes you dont do "planche" and just go up as you can, etc. Lot of little details which are really inspiring. great video and thx for sharing.
Yet another brilliant vid Teg. Great choice of music too. One of my fave tracks. Hah it's weird how the music one uses for the video affects the feel. The Mars Volta section felt so much more intense than the latter folky violin section though it was pretty much the same ultra action footage. Anyway, I liked it!
Nice work Teige, love the intensity in this one. Gotta admit that song from the o brother where art thou soundtrack caught me so off guard after at the drive in lol. Come to Sydney Tiege. Ish
@Anthochovies I don't believe any houses (meaning homes) were used in the making of this. The last building to feature is a pen and lighter factory across the road from me.
Parkour is the sum of the movements moving from one location to another; individual movements and vaults such as a kong can be helpful in attaining your goal, but if a traceur feels it isn't efficient then it's not necessary. Parkour is about moving efficiently, not individual "moves" or "tricks".
We have the same vision on that. XD Parkour should not be only defined by movements, because just running is often doing parkour. Thanks for the reply. ;)
And dude- from what I've seen in your videos, I have some serious respect for you. You don't take your Parkour (or whatever the hell you call it theses days) too seriously and you haven't forgotten how the physical aspect works. It's not about "moves", it's about movement. You also have a smaller emphasis on the power and magnitude and more focus on the speed and grace which I think is great :D
true. it means it's easier to explain, but it does get ridiculous when you end up calling a movement something like a "one-footed side-cat round the corner of a wall to kick-back". there are limits!
I'm gonna make an anti-flow video next time where you take like sproradic stuttering steps that go off in all directions constantly changing speed and posture for no reason and things.
Awesome man. Your videos are quiet unique. I use AVCHD in Sony Vegas Pro 8 and works fine. I supposed I don't edit with as many features as you do though. Keep up the good work.
I hope you enjoy your career in film making and/or cat burgalary. jokes aside, i thought the video was interesting, i loved the contrast between the first part and the second, not only in music but i movement. But i thought it was soooo aggrivatiing that there are very little clips where you can just watch how you move, you know? More of the shots from a distance please =] Keep it up man!
Great parkour teg! xD Serious, I think your kind of training is making result, you look a ninja climbing and downing xD If it is rage froobling that you like continue, cause you re good at :D
I have to say that is not exaclty spirit of Parkour. It's not fame or impressing others. Parkour is about setting and reaching goals, exceeding what you once thought was impossible, and being the best you can be.
I think what's at stake: (thinking of things as tricks rather than thinking of displacement from one place to another?) is threatened more by the nature of movements or techniques, rather than "excessive" naming of variants of techniques. Rock climbing's goal is to reach the top of a rockface. There are a lot of names for techniques in rock climbing; do they forget the point is to get to the top? I think names are fine. If you want to be able to communicate a useful technique, name it.
An oldschool one for this week's Video of the Week here at Hal 5!
We do get a bit nostalgic every now and then
So amazingly awesomely attrociously actually stunning, Teg. Brighton looks awesome, i must get myself down there sometime...
Awesome song. I never expected parkour could go so well with At The Drive-in, but that was freakin' awesome. Great spots, energy and enthusiasm. Totally 5 *
Holy crap teg that is probably me favorite parkour video ever. I loved the last couple but this one went over the top man.
best video i saw in a very long time - very inspirational! good editing, fast fluid and creative movement! so great!
a true legend
I trained in some of the places in this video today. Was weird went to somewhere with some friends and I saw some of the spots there which I had recognized from your video, and was pretty fun training there.
Awesome video Teg! Definatly my favorite of the videos you have made.
I was very suprised to hear At The Drive In. I think they're great.
Loving it so much! :-)
Hope you're doing well my friend...
Take care.

The editing in this is excellent. I like what you did with the camera movements with the music - I always mean to do something like that but I never have the patience.
For a moment there I thought you were running in the snow; madness.
Nice work- I admire your ability to withstand the January cold without a shirt XD
I love it, you dont keep on with the steriotype moves of "normal parkour" you climb the fastest way even sometimes you dont do "planche" and just go up as you can, etc.
Lot of little details which are really inspiring.
great video and thx for sharing.
Absolutely mindblowing.

Yeah but what is the interest to separate movements like the kong and the cat jump?
Your style of movement is sick man. and cheers for the download link.
Your videos just get more and more awesome, as does your pk. Damn good stuff
Nice work Teige, love the intensity in this one. Gotta admit that song from the o brother where art thou soundtrack caught me so off guard after at the drive in lol. Come to Sydney Tiege.
Ish
I think having seperate names for a climb-up and muscle-up is very useful when training, even if your goal is not to "do moves".
=)
Your speed is unmatched man.
Great edit too.
Your style is definitely escape and reach. Really good stuff to watch
climb-up is on a wall, and muscle-up is on a bar/rail. they're all movements though, and probably shouldn't be defined so much...
@Anthochovies

your videos are crowding my favorites
No, just plain wire. Although developing a technique for barbed wire fences is something I've been meaning to do..
We have the same vision on that. XD Parkour should not be only defined by movements, because just running is often doing parkour.
Thanks for the reply. ;)
i love the sense of urgency in your... my videos
keep it up
Very good video, nice flow and everything. But I'd like to know the first song in the video, I like that kind of music :P
awesome movement, sick speed on turn vaults!
9 year anniversary for this video.
Thanks for the trip down memory lane!
Great video Teg. Still very inspired by your work, 8 years later.

probably the best video there is :)

D'you know anyone who'll host it?
I really love this movement - it's awesome =D
Nice stuff guys. Interesting filming and editing. I look forward to the next video! 5*

ridiculously sweet

Watching your older videos...you used to train in feiyues...why did you switch to running shoes?
Kalenjis, they had better grip and more support, I could make larger wallruns in them for example.
