This was literally the best horror movie I have seen in a very long time. Instant classic. Shat on Immaculate. Best Horror movie since Hereditary or Sinister
Original Omen was all about having an extremely creepy kid in it. This looks like yet another, run of the mill possession movie, of which we've gotten who knows how many in the past 10yrs.
I get the vibes that this wasn't even an Omen movie to start with and they decided to slap the franchise on well into production. Like those straight to video Hellraiser sequels. That "it's all for you" part looked like it came from a reshoot.
The scene here doesn't even work. The first one worked because of the shock factor. The nanny was acting normal up until she saw the hellhound. You don't even realise what she's about to do as she's yelling out for Damien, all the way up until she jumps and you're left speechless. The nun here was portrayed as crazy from the start, she's constantly acting strange and improper, you're expecting her to do something crazy. It's an embarrassing copy of the original scene tbh

@@AnthonyKennedy04 I'm glad you enjoyed it, but from what I can see; it's copying Star Wars with the old twin sister hidden away thing, and Angels and Demons (Dan Brown) where it ends up being a plot by a small number within the Vatican to ensure a following. I could go on and on with indescrepencies but won't bore you.
Just shamelessly going to constantly rehash iconic moments from the original movie to remind us we watching an omen movie wow no originality what so ever i will be avoiding this movie like the plague....

dull and awkward remake of the classic scene. The kids act unnaturally for forced 'cinematic' moments like when they lie still on the hard stone ground after their game. Real kids are much more active and who relaxes like that on stone paving like they're in a grassy meadow? Then the two girls waving back at the nun...real kids would just stare in this situation or say 'what's she doing?' And then you have the older girl say 'don't do it' but in a volume as if the other nun was standing next to her not way up high. All these things should have been picked up by the writers/director. Writing that rings false fails to deliver any genuine scare like the original.
SPOILERS ⭐️ My friend and I where 🍃and at the end where they go “they named youre son… Damien.” We both yelled “WHO TF IS DAMIEN” (We never watched the original movie)
