They only mention it off hand (no pun intended)... but Ser Davor had already lost the ends of his fingers. Davos smuggled food into Storm's End to Stannis when the castle was under siege during Robert's Rebellion. Stannis knighted him for rescuing them from starvation... and took his finger tips a punishment for his years of smuggling... which Davos considered fair. The pouch Davos used to wear around his neck had his finger bones which he thought brought him luck. Sadly... he lost the pouch in Blackwater Bay when he was blown from his ship.
@09:00: Sir Davos did not lose his fingers in battle. He lost them a long time ago, as punishment for his smuggling activities. He wears gloves most of the time so it is not very striking. He wears his missing bones in a little bag around his neck to remember his past.
You know Sam is one of the very very few actually good people in this world because Ghost actually obeys him (like when he scared Gilly and Sam shooed him away) and, after losing track of Jon when he got captured by wildlings, he just decided he'd better circle back around and protect Sam from the White Walkers.
The speech that Tywin gave to Tyrion was something that was more from the books than the series, but still in Tywin's character. In the books, there was a rumor that Tyrion was not Tywin's son. But he could not prove it either way. Additionally, the "waddling about" does come from the books, as Tyrion's body was misshapen in the books, and he did "amble" or "waddle" due to the unevenness of his leg size and the curvature of his back. As for the way men treat women... I believe the word you are looking for is "misogyny." This was very common in our own world, and still persists, though viewed as problematic. It is what allows people like Tywin to arrange marriages with "suitable" wives, as women were more of a currency than people. It is why Cersei hates the fact that she is a woman, and it is also why any woman who does not conform is usually called a pejorative term, sold to pleasure houses or worse.
Hello Again Snax...Let's Go Season 3 - things really start to heat up in GoT now. Strap yourself in for a huge rollercoaster ride as the seasons move on. Thank you for all your reactions and sinsights to this amazing series. I look forward every week to catch up with your reactions. All the Best from Australia :)
Interestingly the show tried to channel the ancient Spartans when describing the Unsullied, from the harshness of childhood training to the killing of a human regardless of how it was 'framed'.
Season 4 is my favorite season, but season 3 is a close second place in my opinion. You are one of the few reactors that realized that the child trying to assassinate Daenerys at the end came from Qarth.
Hi Snaxan! Someone created a YT channel called ‘Viral Reaction’ and is uploading your very own GoT content. Hope you can shut it down. Anyway, we all know where the real stuff is!
If you’re wondering, I forwarded this message to a moderator of hers on Discord, the night I read this message, he said he was going to check in with her, so she probably knows about this by now.
Tywin is absolutely not disappointed in Tyrion, neither jealous. He hates Tyrion since he was born because he's a dwarf ans a drunk and that doesn't suit his vision of the Lannister family.
Ahh, yes, Season 3. Here we go...
can't wait for someone to put this comment after season 6 for a entirely different reason.
@@rapaz1997 I'm gonna do it after season 4. 5 is already full of stupid.
"It's the men in this world" ... I give you Cercei as a counter argument.

Your blanket is alive.

Awesome and amazing☕👋🐕
There're a lot of important characters in this show. It will help to write down their names now and then.
Somehow, the soldier does not feel pain, when getting cut at 22:28! And yes, I had an exact similar reaction as you did, Sarah.
He does feel pain, as every human. He's just trained to obey and stay still.
The actors that play Jon Snow and Ygritte met and fell in love on the set and are married.
Believe me when I say this, she knew about it, when watching Season 2, Episode 6!
This is the best episode!
11:25 the blanket ghost
2:20 Don't ignore what is being said. Everything in this show has foreshadowings. Please pay attention. And yes, ghost is important...somewhat.

My Queen Snaxan

She probably has a lot of projects in mind to make.
Well here we go 😐 season 3
18:55 Females tend to not like Melisandre, males are more willing to take a wait and see approach, I wonder why.
Season 4 is my favorite season, but season 3 is a close second place in my opinion.

I dont think Tywin is disappointed in Tyrion, he is jealous when he heard how good of a Hand Tyrion was
