Hey guys! Wow, what a ride it has been. This season is probably the best one yet and I can’t wait to post the rest of the series. I will be posting the entirety of Season 5 during the month of January and it should also be around the same time I post another movie reaction! 😊 I just also want to point out, LET’S GO!!! I posted the entire season without a 21 day break! LMAO! 😂😂
after Davos read the scroll from the nights watch, Lady Melisandre saw the army of the dead marching on the Wall in the flames. she convinced Stannis to go to the Wall.
I always watch and like your videos but this is my first comment. Your reactions are so authentic and you really pay attention. Not to mention you seem like a lovely soul. Thank you for all the work you put in for us
I love the relationship between the Hound and Arya. I’m always so sad when I get to this episode because I know it means that part of the show is done:(
Stannis would have landed at East Watch By The Sea, one of the other outposts still manned by the NightWatch. This would have allowed them to pass to the other side of the Wall.
The reason Stannis was there was because in the Watchers on the Wall episode, Davos received a letter from Jon Snow, and he asked Shereen to read it. But she insisted that he read it for himself. As soon as he did, he went to Stannis, who questioned and resisted going north, but at the insistence of Melisandre, who said the True war was in the North, he (apparently) changed his mind. Stannis plan had nothing to do with the white walkers, though. His plan was to win the support of the North, and take the Iron Throne for himself.
One of my top 3 favorite finales. Tywin played his last game of thrones on a throne. You win or you die. Fun fact: the finale aired on Father’s Day in 2014. Another Emmy Award worthy performance for Peter Dinklage! The reason he didn’t leave immediately was Tyrion wanted to confront Tywin on why he sentenced him to die knowing he was innocent. Tyrion was willing to risk his chance of escape to gain closure on the issue. Some months later after Father’s Day, they showed the last two episodes of Season 4 in select IMAX theaters! The surround sound system was incredible! Because of that and even though I already seen it, the sound of that crossbow going off startled me! Jumped out of my seat a little.
This is why the History and Lore is an important watch, all the background lore not discussed in the show itself is in there (such as who the Children of the forest are). It's a good and fun watch too.
i believer in the show that shae was trying to hurt tyrion the way he hurt her (calling her a whore and sending her away). shae had a lot of wonderful traits but she was also consistently arrogant and spiteful.
14:14 he's getting ready for the most absurdly intense scenes an actor could be given to perform! There was a hole left in the Tower ofthe Hand after Dinklage got through eating this script!
¿Qué sucedió? ¿Qué sucedió? La serie lo omitió incomprensiblemente, siendo esto importantísimo. Tyrion subió las escaleras para ver a su padre Tywin por. una sola razón... ....................... Tysha
I love how ironic the deaths in this episode are: most powerful person in the world dying on the shitter, corrupted whore choking on gold, the Hound, after telling Arya her dancing master was defeated by armor and a big sword, losing to arguably the best equipped figher in the seven kingdoms.
People over estimate Tyrion. He has both phychological and and character flaws that people ignore because he is better than the rest of his family. Tommen is actually a good guy even though he was raised in the same family. I thought Tyrion was too enthusiastic about his brother fighting as his champion while knowing he could not possible win and end up dead. Tyrion is after all not that ethical when it comes down to saving his own life. I mean he killed the woman he loved. He does have his good traits, but people tend to be influenced by sympathy because he is a dwarf. Other than being rejected by his father and sister, he has had a very privilaged life.
You should consider watching the history and lore videos after each season. You can watch them after this season. 1 for every season. It’s voiced by the actors/actresses of the show.
I really recommend watching the official Game of Thrones histories and lore videos. They are pretty essential to answering a lot of questions you have had that aren't covered in the main episodes. There is one for each season.
@@faisalmemon285 SPOILER WARNING (but not really because they cut this from the show and the books arent done) Most notably, they changed some key points about Tyrion's escape sequence. It doesn't really hurt this episode, but hurts later seasons IMO. 1) Jaime confesses to Tyrion that he lied about Tyrion's first marriage. The girl wasn't a wh**e who Jaime paid. She was genuinely some random girl who loved Tyrion and married him. Tywin told Jaime to lie because she was a peasant and the marriage was an insult to the family. 2) Tyrion gets angry and then lies to Jaime claiming that he did kill Joffrey, just to try to hurt Jaime. 3) When Tyrion finds Shae, she says that she is terrified of Tywin and was forced to lie during the trial. She asks Tyrion to save her, but he kills her in a blind rage. She doesn't fight him. 4) When Tyrion confronts Tywin on the privy, he wants to know what happened to Tysha (his first marriage). Tywin keeps calling her a wh**e, and that's the word that triggers Tyrion to kill Tywin. Tyrion asks where Tysha went, and Tywin responds "wherever wh**es go", and then Tyrion kills him. In the show, this episode completes the character arcs of Jaime and Tyrion. In future seasons, they kinda just go along with the plot but aren't really driven by anything. In the books, Tyrion is obsessed with what happened to his first wife and constantly asks himself 'where do wh**es go?' He's motivated to figure this out. He's also on a villain arc having lied to Jaime, murdered the innocent Shae, and also Tywin. And Jaime is still very much on a redemption arc, with even more wrongs in his past to pay off. He's also perplexed by Tyrion's lie about Joffrey and not sure what to do with that.
In the end, Tywin Lannister did not shit gold. In the books is gross too at his funeral, they leave him in the Sept for 7 days and he starts to stink super bad so Cersei is angry at the Maesters
May I recommend you read the book "A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms"? It is a simple story of a Knight? of Westeros and his Squire set 100 years before the show, technically 3 collected short stories, and since you know the world from 4 seasons of the show it will go down smoothly and there will be no spoilers.
@@baron7755 Jackass, I’m asking you because there’s an episode named “A knight of seven Kingdoms” In House of the Dragon which is based on the book “A Dance of Dragons,” which is set 100 before GOT. Shae never loved Tyrion. She saw an out from a miserable life a a prostitute and played her cards. Tyrion also helped her tremendously by telling her his trauma story to her about his whore he "married". She knew where psychologically she could attach herself.
I think she loved him as well as it was possible for her to love. I think her actions reflected more of the "woman scorned" dynamic. I believe her refusal to leave when given the opportunity to a secure financial future did show she loved him in her own way. The issue was she was self absorbed and controled by what she felt was her own self interests. Leaving Kings Landing would have been in Tyrions best interest, but her life in survival mode kicked in as it did in her final betrayal along with her believing he was trying to dump her. Kind of like Gollums reaction to his belief Frodo betrayed him. Speaking of Frodo, when are you going to finish the Lord of the Rings series. Return of the King is the best movie of the bunch. Don't wait too long.

@@SnaxanReactions it is foul! She could have done it without hurting his feeling or let him know that she was forced to do it or something. But then again its a show. they have to create conflict to make it interesting.
I can't stand Shae, she is one of my least favorite characters in the show and that is really saying something. Even before she betrayed Tyrion she was stubborn, prideful, and combative, and then of course she went way overboard in taking revenge on Tyrion for something he did out of concern for her well-being and respect for his wife. I know she is a protagonist for the early seasons so I don't blame anyone for liking her their first time through the show, but seeing reactors cheer her on always frustrates me 🤣 great reaction, this is one of the best episodes!
The next season's series will be the last story based on George R. Martin's original novel. The stories after the fifth season basically rely on the writing of the screenwriter.
Seasons 1-4 are perfect. Everything after that is middling to bad. I would suggest anyone who watches GoT to only watch 1-4, and then stop, and imagine your own continuity and maybe the books come out some day. I know she has already watched most if not all of it, so it is too late. I am not even a huge season 8 hater, the whole thing drops to like a 7/10 from 5th season on, whereas seasons 1-4 are 10/10.
Fun book fact. When Tyrion serves as Hand of the King, he finds s secret tunnel that leads to the pleasure houses. His father served as Hand for MANY years. It becomes obvious that Tywin was the biggest hypocrite ever!
