I'd recommend the blendbunny blends palette over the ColourPop rainbow palette if anyone's wanting a rainbow matte palette. Yeah it's like $15 more but you can use a code to get it down a little. And the quality is out of this world. The most blendable colorful mattes in the game.
I absolutely LOVE my Tarte Maneater After Dark palette!!! The only other palette I have from Tarte is a 6 pan mauve palette. Love it too. I am extremely impressed!!!
I've switched to buying indie eyeshadows and the mainstream releases are now mostly a snore fest compared to indie palettes! It's a very different shopping experience to buy indie makeup, so I understand why some don't want to. I can highly recommend checking out your "local" indie brands (you'll have cheaper shipping and faster delivery), and following the brand on Instagram where most indie makeup brands post frequent updates.
I do love your number one pick. She is a bit pricey, but I believe she will be worth it. Kat from another channel also reviewed it. She is from Australia. I wanted it at that point. It was sold out earlier. I may try to purchase it later. Love these rankings.
I bought the nearly naturals on launch hour. Played with it a bit (loved it) and then loaned it to a friend who is pretty new to makeup and she would like to keep it, but the next delivery will be in november and one of us will have to live without it until then… 😢 I know, I know, big problems 😅
Honestly a lot of my too faced eyeshadows back then ALWAYS SEEMED TO HARD PAN. I remember how popular the sweet peach palette was so hard to get your hands on, and it smelled good etc but honestly my favorite shade in the palette hardpanned maybe 3/4 uses in. Same as the pink heart chocolate palette. Almost hard panned from the time I touched any shade. Drove me crazy

You picked some real beauties for the month...I've been loving the new Tarte palette and the new Nomad palette. I love Matte About Hue palette as a companion palette to all my indie shimmer shades. If you want to try a decent Maybelline palette, the Nudes New York palette is a good one.
I skipped the chocolate and pumpkin palettes from too faced - but I did get the Yummy Gummy (since the cinnamon bear was fab!) and hot chocolate palette (the hot chocolate bronzer and gloss from last year I use all the time and this matches) from the holiday launch on their website today!
For a colorful/rainbow and affordable palattes, try the Beauty Bay line, esp. The Beauty Bright Matte. They r huge in the UK, but I haven't seen many US reviews about them.

You could get a color match but Sydney Grace and Glaminatrix formulas are completely different so they wouldn't look anything alike on the lids. Morgan is right when she said you tend to lose the color differentiation because of the reflectiveness of shimmers. Almost all are just packed full of tiny mica glimmers so they are all sparkle and shine. It's really all you see. But in the best way possible. It's a special palette!

I am much happier to pay the $20 AUD, or approx $14 USD shipping charge to get a Glaminatrix palette than I am paying the $8- $10 shipping that most US based indies charge me for a delivery. There are a few that are more reasonable but most aren't. I tried to buy a single shadow from Adept to update my Ninhydrin and they wanted $9 for shipping. For a single pan! Now that I have a problem with! $14 from the other half of the globe seems cheap compared to that!
Actually *DID* get the Nomad Bosque Nuboso de Monteverde palette due to seeing your swatches and hearing you and others rave about it, and I freakin' LOVE it! The quality is next level goodness. There's some super unique shades in it, too. 🪴🌺🦎🌅
