My girlfriend purchased us the Gourmande Girls Spooked palette each and we are both very disappointed in the way they shipped the palettes to Australia. A bubble mailer no additional bubble wrap well you can guess how they arrived. So if you are buying and international customer ask they ship in a box with heaps of bubble wrap. Yes we are getting our money back but we were so excited to get this palette and they are on our no buy list due to the lack of care.
I find shipping to be an issue with most indie brands
@@Wendymakeupgirly the only indie brand that I 100% trust in the shipping is Adept OMG it's so well packaged nothing is going to break. This has happened all year sending palettes in a bubble mailer and charging 45usd which is nearly 60aud. Ridiculous
the Adept international shipping cost is so prohibitive. I can't bring myself to spend that 45usd on shipping yet.
@@coffeecotton this is where buying with a couple of friends is more advantages. We also utilize our forwarding address if we are buying lots and send to our US address combine and ship to save.

Ever since I got the Mario ethereal palette I can’t stop grabbing it. I go on vacation tomorrow to California and that’s the only palette I’m bringing with me and I have A LOT palettes.

The Viseart minis remind me of the quads that Colourpop released recently and they’re such good quality. I stopped buying Colourpop all year because they haven’t impressed me with their formula but I decided to buy these quads and I’m so happy with them. I do have some of the Viseart quads too but if you’re on a budget Cp got you.
The Viseart "Violeta" quad is very pretty, and the "Spooked" palette looks stunning on you! Great video, like always!
I did purchase the ND Retro Glam because it was different from my other palettes. I really enjoy the looks. I also bought the Viseart Petites dark mattes. They go well together to add depth. That Mario palette is out stock at Sephora and it has been for awhile.

I love that Dior palette. It’s a great subtle everyday mauve palette. The shimmers or more lowkey so I find it more appropriate for daytime when you don’t want to look like you tried too hard. I’m with your Mom on this one.

I actually love the Jaclyn and morphe Devine neutrals eyeshadow palette but it can take a little work and the palette is definitely on the dark side but I like that about it. 🥰 I love your videos Morgan 🥰

Yep think you are right about the ND palette, I think too many light colors. Needs a few more staples for the crease then use the pastels for pops
Also if you like that dior palette you must look at their 5 color palette in “soft cashmere” it’s described as pinks and browns but def not. It’s more taupe cool toned and my absolute favorite. So much so I’ve bought a back up

I really try to hard to convince myself that I don’t need the Mario palette that I have more quality eyeshadow palettes but damn these reviews are starting to convince me 😂
For the retro glam, I also ordered the bundle from Mel and can’t wait to pair it with it ! Can’t wait for it to arrive! I did pair it with the TF quad Soleil et lune and It was gorgeous! I know you also have it 😊

I have SO many palettes too but I have to be the devil on your shoulder…. I gave in and got his palette after it kept being sold out and I’m IN LOVE! The shimmers have such a beautiful finely milled shine to them, just beautiful! It’s limited edition so I actually bought a backup I use it so much! 🥰

On the other side of the ocean,many creators have said that the matts of Mario’s palett were not very easy to blend and tge shimmers had a lot of fallout and lacked of a colour base.On the top it’s not available in Spain so the splurge meant more than 100€ here for the brave ones😅😅😅

Well,i ‘ll just say I bought 6 palettes this year and 4 out of 7 days I keep reaching for the Biba.Definetively I’m a mess😅😅😅
Instead of purchasing the ethereal palette, I purchased 3 sephore singles that are exactly like the 3 topper shades in the palette. I used the 30% off so I got them for a steal and you wouldn't even know the difference. I pair then with my viseart neutral palette or my tom ford cocoa mirage quad when I want to amp it up.
Which singles did you get?
@@sandrajayandran twinkle twinkle, let's party and ballet shoes and I also got to the moon and back which is a metallic finish. The others are glitter finishes but very smooth.

I agree that drugstore eyeshadows suck, none of them compare to high end even remotely. Natasha Denona is my favourite eyeshadow brand for sure, I also quite like Viseart but only have one small quad from them, which is really nice
Sad, I watched to see where the Celestial Nirvana palette by PML came in and it didn't even make the top 10! 😭😭😭 I really love mine and thought it would have been in the top 3.

I had to return the Mario palette. I had a plethora of issues with it... mainy the value, considering 3 of the shades are toppers that I just don't have an appreciation for. I should've waited for reviews! Way too glittery and creasy on my eyelids. One, sure... maybe 2... but 3 that all look basically the same? No.
I actually LOVED the mattes though. Omg. So good, but I can't justify the luxury price for maybe 9 shades that I'll really ever use.
The other issue is that I had a minor reaction to it. Definitely got some watery/itchyness going on when I wore it. I have very sensitive eyes though, so I have to just power through on palettes I adore... this one wasn't it.
I want this makeup pallette by mario but Sephora does not have it in stock and people selling it for twice the normal price which is crazy 😬

I keep going back and forth on the retro glam. I really enjoy the color story but it's too light and it reminds me of the pastel palette. I was excited for that and then incredibly disappointed because it wasn't true to pan.

I wanted that Dior palette for a minute but...BUT...some of those shades are SO close to each other. I don't feel you're getting enough depth.
Use Maro's all matte palette with the new one.

The retro reviews confuse me. People begged for this palette. She than made the palette as requested and people aren’t satisfied, it’s so confusing to me.

You absolutely don't get what you pay for in makeup! A lot of it is packaging, promotion and fomo. BH Cosmetics and Beauty Bay produce high quality, reasonably priced palettes. I have some high end palettes that are absolute pants. A certain beauty influencer even copied the Beauty Bay Nudes palette, shade for shade. The latest limited edition Beauty Bay palette, the Retro Love one, is gorgeous.
I hate morphe shadows lol. I literally have never liked a single palette of theirs that I tried.

I want to say this now before your next video: I have zero interest in the Pat McGrath, Star Wars thing coming out, it does not look different or fun, and she literally just repackaged a palette ans some mascaras. Very disappointing I think Colourpop did it better, and that hurts my ❤

Love you, but this "mature lids" s#!t has to go. I'm 54 and those LA Girls shades look *stunning* on my lids. What is wrong with aging? texture on my eyelids, which have seen some things your "immature lids" can't even imagine, bothers me not.
